James entered the train, clutching his school bag on one hand, and a fisful full of gold galleons in the other. It was his first time going to Hogwarts. As he entered the train, he encountered many students inside. Some of them were older, more mature, yet there were some who were young, like him, and seemed lost.
He turned around and started to walk down the long corridor in search of an empty compartment. He had made no friends yet, but then that's just him being shy. As he passed a few compartments, he'd catch a few students eye his Galleons. "Wow, this must be big money that I have" he thought. James hastily shoved the money in the pocket of his Blue 501 Levi's.
After going up or down, he managed to find a compartment - an empty one, just like he wanted. He slided the door open and went in, sliding it back into its place. The clock chimed. It just struck 11 o' clock. James quickly raced to the window, in search of his parents. Straight away he noticed the long light brown hair which belonged to his mother. He gave a half-hearted wave to his parents. His mother smiled in return, whereas his father didn't look pleased. His father didn't approve of him going to Hogwarts, reason being because he was a muggle. "Trust him to ruin my day" thought James. The train started to move, and with a final wave to his parents, the train set off.
James sat down, and pulled his leather schoolbag close by. He opened it, and took out The Standard Book of Spells, Grade 1. James quickly whipped out his new wand he bought the previous day and starting practising his spells. From the stories he heard from his mother, Hogwarts was going to be more tougher than he ever imagined.

Quella stood in front of the train and watched as others got on. She sighed and turned to her parents. "okay guess its time. Bye Mother." She gave her a peck on the cheek and then turned to her father. She throw her arms around him and held on as he picked her up to hug. "Bye Daddy. I'll miss you." after he told her he would miss her too, he put her down.
She picked up her bag and headed towards the train. right before getting on she turned back towards her parent. "Bye. i'll write i promise" with that she got on the train.
As she made her way through the train she realized it might be best to go into one of the first compartments she found. there were just to many people trying to get through. "ow. hey the lest you could do is say sorry." she called to the kid who had pushed her out of his way. She glared at his back when he kept going without a word. "Rude much?" she thought with a shake of her head sending her long brown pigtails flying around her head.
As the train started to move she realized she really needed to find a seat. moving to the door in front of her she opened it and peeked in. just seeing a boy arund her age reading, she walked in and shut the door behind her. she walked over and sat across from him. She set her hot pink bag at her feet and smoothed down her black jumper with a pink skull on the front.

James lifted his face from the book and noticed a girl coming in. He slowly observed her. The hot pink bag, the skull jumper and whatnot. "Hi" replied James. "I'm James, nice to meet you." James wasn't the talking type, though when it came to business then he was ready to talk.

Quella smiled at james and looked around the room. She should proable fallow his example and read one of her books but there was time for that later. " Soo... are you a first year? or a second? I'm a first year. Wish i was a second then i would have all the first year horrors out of the way."

"Heh, I'm a firstie as well unfortunately" he replied. He turned to look outside the window. He noticed the lovely green scenery passing by. He turned around to face Quella. "What house do you hope to be in???" he asked. Everyone wanted to go to some house, and that intrigued James. He of course wished to go in Gryffindor, just like his mother. Whereas, he heard bad stuff about Slytherin, and James tried his best not to put him off.

"So, what's going on?" Tom asked, Amber rolled her eyes, "You never listen do you?" she said, they both stopped outside the muggle train station. "uhh, well, duh!" he said and patted her on the head, "have a lovely life, and don't forget to tell me all about what you learn," he told her and turned around to go off. "Bye!" Amber shouted to him and waved, Tom waved back, but didn't say anything, Amber sighed, "boys," she rolled her eyes.
Amber was just in time to get onto the train. she jumped on and swang to the left, walking along, looking inside compartments to check if there was any space, "nope, nope, nope," she kept saying to herslef when she looked inside. She finally saw two people in one compartment and decided to go in anyway. She opened the door furiously, preteneding to be feirce, but turned back to normal once she spoke, "can I sit here?" she asked, noticing that both were first years, as they haven't been sorted into a house yet.

James noticed another girl coming in into the compartment. "Of course you can" replied James adding a smile. He set his book aside along with his wand. It would be ever so rude for him to read while there were people on the train. He set his bag aside and turned towards the new girl. "I'm James" he said as he reached his hand out. "Whats your name?"

Amber sat down and shook James's Hand, "I'm Amber," she said, "so, you guys first years?" she asked, noticing that the book he had put away was for the first grade. She took out of her pocket a packet of fizzing whizzbees, "want any?" she offered them and put one in her mouth.

As she shook his hand, he said "Pleasure." The Girl - Amber - asked him whether he was a first year or not. "I am, not that I'm happy, it's apparently supposed to be hard for firsties" replied James, wishing he was older. "What about you?" he asked, "Are you a firstie?"

Amber shook her head when James asked if she was a first year, ¨I am a second year,¨ she told him. She sat down next to the door of the compartment and took another fizzing whizzbee and ate it. ¨excited about going to Hogwarts?¨

Tori poked her head in the compartment to see if it was empty. She didn't have any friends yet, of course, becuase she had just got on the train and it was her first year. She saw two girls and a boy chatting together.
"Oh, sorry," she muttered. |

Amber noticed someone had pocked their head through the door, obviously to see if it was empty. Then they said sorry, why'd they say that? "oh, it is okay," Amber said to her, "you can come in if you want."

Tori brightened up a little. "Really? Thanks?" she exclaimed, stepping all the way into the compartment and sitting down next to the girl.
"I'm Toei," she smiled. "And everyone else?' she asked, nodding to the other students. |
