Torza bit her lip as she walked into the dingy building of St.Mungo's. It was time to face the music...or rather the truth. Normally she would have just gone to the hospital wing in hogwarts but her problem was strange and she found it a little embarrassing. It was good though that she was seeking help. Torza realized that she should really speak to a psychiatrist about her nightmares and everything but it didn't seem she could find anyone at all that could help her.
As soon as she walked through the door she could see why it was a popular place to be, it looked clean and tidy though very old-fashioned. Torza loved old-fashioned sort of things though so she didn't really mind about it to much. Sitting down she wandered if she needed to talk to anyone so a doctor or someone could come and talk to her.
Though truefully she hoped that perhaps if she just sat down no one would notice her. Then she would just carry on without any sleep at all perhaps it wasn't so bad and she didn't need any help and how could anyone help her anyway?
((sorry its short, my brain died as I wrote this))

Chris was on his way to Spell Damage with some reports from one of the resident potion brewers when he took a quick look at who was in the waiting room. It was mostly empty, except for a few people waiting for their paperwork to be processed, and a new arrival. A young woman with long dark hair, and big blue eyes. He swallowed hard, and grabbed a passing apprentice. "Take these to the front office in Spell Damage, and fast," he muttered and walked over to Torza.
"Hello. I'm Healer Bennet, but most people here just call me Chris. Has anyone been to see you yet, Miss?"

Torza looked up to a face she didn't know. It gave her peace of mind that she would be talking about something so private with a complete stranger and besides he seemed like a nice person. Hearing him say he was 'Healer Bennet' she nodded her head with a small smile. Formal, it seemed. Until he added that she could call him Chris she grinned at that"Nice name, I'm Torza Ansari" she said looking up at him from her seat. "And no no one has seen me yet" she said and bit her lip a little. No one had seen her because she'd tried to hide but it seemed it hadn't quite worked. At least she could hopefully get ride of her nightmares.
"I'm afraid you'll probably not be able to help me" she told him twiddling with a strand of her brown hair. "It's a bit complicated and maybe I shouldn't even be here" she said not sure if she was even making sense.

Chris frowned and took the seat next to her, turning it to face her. Now he was certain she was here to see a gynecologist possibly, or had some kind of female problem that embarassed her. "Look, Miss Ansari, I can reassure you at St. Mungo's we have strict patient confidentiality clauses. Our treatments are all very advanced, and we don't pass judgements on any of our patients. I can fetch you a female healer if you wish, but rest assured, I am very professional, as are all of our staff."

Torza smiled at Chris and watched as he took a seat next to her. She was surprised she had even thought she could be hidden in the small crowd of people, there were no more than say four people in the whole of the place now so she felt she could talk about it with him. Hearing Healer Bennet....well Chris explain that they had 'strick patient confidentiality clauses' she nodded her head and felt a little better about that. At least she could be reasurred that he wouldn't be gossiping in his breaks about 'the odd lady' he'd had to deal with. Maybe even the 'old odd lady'. Though Torza was only twenty two.
"You say you don't pass judgement but really everyone does" she replied to him hoping she didn't sound rude. "You can not escape making a mind up about someone really, for instance right now you may find me annoying and that would be your opinioning on me." she said still a little worried to tell him of her troubles.
"I don't need a female healer" she said with a confused look upon her face. Did he really want to get ride of her that easily? No of course he didn't, she hoped, it seemed ever since she'd suffered from the nightmares she had been getting more and more paranoid. It needed sorting. "I've been having no sleep recently" she told him, still not quite ready to talk about the rest of her troubles.

He smiled and nodded at all the right places, tried to reassure her. "Miss Ansari, you are not an annoyance. We're here to help the public, and perform a service, that's all. To think of someone as annoying only defeats our purpose. Now, you say that you've been having sleep troubles. Muggles as well as wizards have temporary antidotes for such circumstances, but the muggle potions tend to be more disorienting the following day. Have you tried a dreamless sleep potion?"

Torza raised an eyebrow "But you still have a judgement on me already" she muttered under her breath. "Sorry I'm being annoying again" she said to him and then added "Wait sorry I'm not having any opinion on you at all" she said not sarcastically actually trying to make Chris not want to kill her though she believed that was impossible. "I'm sorry" she repeated and looked at the ground as she hated annoying people though it was clear she was probably doing so most of the time. Also she knew he was only nodding to make her feel happier but it wasn't working, she had trained as a nurse and had to grin and bare some god awful people. GASP was she a god awful person? Oh crap she was one of them!
"A dreamless sleep potion?" she repeated the words straight after Chris, waking up from her mini day-dream "Will it stop me from..." she bit her lip and kissed goodbye to him every thinking she was sane again "from...being mean? I mean I've been dead cold as I've been having these nightmares, my sister and my fiancee" she waved a hand and shrugged, hoping he'd understand that she didn't wish to go into details over any baby mishaps "No big deal, I hope they have a lovely life together" she said a little too bitterly "See, will it make me nice and happy again?" she asked him and then added "Please don't suggest antidepressants my mum had them she was a muggle and the doctor could only give them but I'm sure we have other stuff and well my dad was a doctor so yeah, he is ...was a muggle as well so I know about all those drugs for sleeping that the muggles had, I was a muggle until I was 10." she said with a careless wave she knew she was rambling but she just didn't want Chris to speak as she feared he would offer her some medicine to make her 'happy' that wasn't true happy.

Chris stared in amazement as she talked about her sister and fiancee and whatnot. And lost track of what she was saying. Damn the girl could talk your ear off. "Look, there are no potions or medicines that will 'make you happy' " Ok. strictly speaking that wasn't true. There were cheering charms, and tickling elixirs, but he wasn't even going to cover that with her.
"It sounds like you just have a lot of issues to get through, and you need time to process everything. Things, potions, quick cures might make you feel better temporarily, but they won't make you happy. You need time, and the right attitude. Just, try and deal with it head on. Maybe you'd like to find a counselor? Someone who can help you get a handle on your feelings?" he probably wasn't making much sense, but he didn't want to leave her hanging.

Torza listened to Chris and sighed when he said that there were no potions that could make her happy again. Damit. Sighing she smiled even though she felt like crying and nodded her head in all the right places. Perhaps she'd just stay a b***h forever, or perhaps she needed to just get over it by herself. For once in her life she was silent, not because she couldn't think of anything to say but because she didn't want to say anything. Torza knew there were some potions out there as she had trained to be a nurse but she understood when he said that quick cures wouldn't help her.
"I don't want to help me" she said softly, so softly she didn't know if he heard her. "I want to help the people I hurt by getting hurt myself, I want to think of my sister and not want to cry the whole night, I want to look at someone who offers help and not want to tear them into pieces for not understanding" she said and smiled a little at him.
She heard him talking about issues that Torza was having. She didn't need a healer to inform her that, she already knew it. "In all respects I found it so hard coming here to talk to you about my problems that I don't think I could get very far with a counselor" she nodded her head at that. Chris was the only one who knew, her own sister didn't know just what she had done to Torza.

"You know, your real friends will understand. Anyone who doesn't isn't really your friend anyway, so don't count it as much of a loss. You know, if you don't want to see a counselor its fine. These things tend to go easier after a time. Look, I'm due in Spell Damage in five minutes...If you don't want to see a counselor, why not I take you out for a coffee after my shift tomorrow? I have an early roster and get out around four, and I'll be free all day after that, how does that sound?"
He hoped she'd say yes. He was sure he could take her mind off of what was going on, and let's face it, she was just hot. In a classy, pretty sort of way, of course.

Torza smiled at him and said "I always say the same thing! I tell everyone that and I did use to help people out when they had problems, I think that is why I am having such a hard time being the one having the problems" she gave a small shy giggle before sighing deeply. It was nice that Chris didn't seem to hate her or in fact think her too weird. She smiled as she thought that just maybe she wasn't the weirdest person Chris had met.
"Coffee?" Torza asked a little taken aback. "I'd like that" she smiled at him happily, maybe he did like her a little bit then! "Are you going to do tests on me?" a hint of worry in her voice. She didn't really want them as she knew somehow being Torza she would mess them up. Jee she couldn't even take a simple invite out to clear her head without accusing them of having an altiriamotive (sp?)
((Hmm sorry my computer froza about a billion times so if it doesn't make sense then I blame the laptop!))

Chris scratched his head and stared at her. What did she think he asked her out for? "Sorry, I won't be doing tests on you. I don't think Starbucks would like me hauling all the equipment over there. Besides, I work mainly in Spell Damage, and Maladies...I only help out in the other wards when they are understaffed...Unless you think you need some tests done? Then I'd be glad to help you make an appointment?"
As soon as the words were out he regretted them. Maybe she didn't like Muggle dining. Maybe she didn't want to go out with him. Maybe she thought that he just wanted to let her get something quick here, and then leave and never see him again. Maybe he needed to shut his brain up and let her say something.
((No it's good, it made me laugh))

Torza watched Chris apologise and say that he wasn't going to be doing any tests on her. "Thats great news!" she grinned planning on hugging him before realizing that maybe he would get a bit freaked out with it. Torza could easily freak out anyone but she hoped that she wouldn't annoy him as he did seem nice! He actually listened to her even though she was sure he would have tried to pass her off to another healer.
"I don't think I need any tests done" she smiled at him with a nod of her head. Well maybe she needed to check whether or not she had a brain but other than that she was good. "I was just checking you weren't...never mind" she said and rolled her eyes still smiling at him.
"I like starbucks" She told him with a nod of the head even though one she had never been there and two the last time she had been in the muggle world she had ended up going to jail. Dam buy one get one free sign lied to her. "Can we not go to the spa though!" she asked him quickly remembering the painful waxing. It had hurt her so much. "I mean you wouldn't have taken me there anyway but I'm just checking"...gah she sounded even weird now. Was Torza getting nervous?

It took a moment for him to process everything she said. Torza seemed to be one of those free spirits whose minds kind of drifted off the beaten path, took a tea break, and came back after hours. Not that it was a bad thing, it was kind of refreshing. She seemed sweet and untouched and very cheerful despite the cloud hanging over her. She had even smiled for a moment, when only a few minutes before she looked despondent and depressed. Torza had a natural cheerfulness that was appealing. He tried not to laugh, but it was hard.
"Well, the last time I checked, Starbucks didn't have a spa. Though they do have some lovely chocolate chip cookies." he heard someone yelling a few doors down about the state of one of the potion supply closets and winced. "Look, why don't you just meet me there tomorrow? We can have something, and chat for a while, yes? What time is good for you?" he shifted his clipboard and pen as if to write down the time, but in reality was trying to look busy to whomever was yelling in the storeroom. They were bound to track him down shortly, and he didn't want to look like he was busy chatting up a bird in the corridor rather than working. Even if that was the case.

Listening to Chris she smiled at nodded her head thinking how stupid she was. Still even as a muggle born she didn't know much about that world being adopted and all. "Cookies...I like cookies" this time it was the truth she actually did like them and shocker she had eaten cookies even if she had never really gone to Starbucks.
Hearing some yell she bit her lip and giggled. "I think your needed" she said with another smile, it was quite refreshing to be smiling as she hadn't for such a while. "Time...." she tried to think quickly so he wouldn't get in any sort of trouble, "4:30?" she asked him with a shrug. "I'm free the whole day, well not before 3 because I have to take all my nine pets to the vet" she said with a nod of her head. He didn't need to know that he was busy.
"I'll meet you there then" she told him with another smile before she motioned for him to go quick, even if he did look busy with his clipboard.
