"Ah-ha!" Isis said loudly, making several people around her jump. Sheepishly, she said, "Sorry." The outburst had been brought on by seeing Luke kiss Kath, a confirmation of their relationship. Isis looked around desperately for someone to share it with but no such luck. She stomped one foot impatiently, wishing there was someone to talk to.
"This so frustrating!" she hissed. "Maybe I should just leave now." She didn't really realize she was talking out loud.

Kath had spent a little bit of time trying to remember how many Yule Balls she had actually been to. It was quite impossible for her though as she had missed many over the years and had lost track of how many she had missed. She missed the some of the Yule Balls for various reasons but most of the time was because she didn’t really spend the time with anyone there. Her friends at the time were usually off dancing with others and Kath spent most of her time stood at the refreshments table. It was much easier for her to stay in her dorm and spend the evening with her pets who appreciated her company, not that the friends didn’t they were just enjoying their time with other friends. Kath now however had a reason to go and enjoy herself and was loving every minute of it. The Yule Ball was often different every year and that change had certainly become obvious the last few Christmas’s. The change in location probably helped make the change obvious to Kath. Whenever Kath missed a Yule Ball she always heard the stories and she usually ended up missing the interesting events. It didn’t bother her too much but it was quite typical for her to miss the ‘excitement’.
Everytime Kath took her eyes off Luke to look around the room she noticed more and more people filling up the dancefloor. She had been too busy to notice them until she took the time to look around the room. Kath nodded “Yeah people seem to be loosening up a little more now” Most of the people that were standing around were starting to make their way to the dancefloor. Watching Kath trying to speak into Kath’s ear must have been quite a funny sight to see but right now Kath wasn’t bothered what she looked life. Many of her insecurities from the start of the Ball were disappearing as the night went on. “Thank you” she grinned “Same here” Kath was pleased that Luke asked her. It gave her extra time to spend with him and it brought back the enjoyment that she used to have at the Yule Ball as a young student. “It’s a pleasure” she smiled softly before kissing Luke back. Hearing someone shout Kath darted her eyes to the noise, noticing Isis she smiled at her before turning her attention back to Luke. She wasn’t quite sure what the shouting was about but she smiled out of politeness as she had met Isis a couple of months back.

ahhh poor Myn well not really she sat back and had observed the going's on around the yule ball, true to fashion it was making memories. The kids arrived on a motor bike with attire that summed it all up. There were the usual boy/girl going's on as well, the Yule ball had always been a time where one learned who would or could be chosen as the 'couple of the year' by the look of things this year it turned out rather staff's were 'coupled'. Now at one point Carma dumped El on the floor, Myn had no clue as to why she'd pick Lathan, the man was a slippery snake. Myn watched, and as some of the little tikes got innuberated she'd take care of them. Make sure they'd drink water and head up to the correct dorms. Yup the yule ball was memorable, that's forsure.

Donna was about to go when someone approached her and spoke. It was one of her former dada students who had become a professor at the school now. "It's good to see you too emma smith, but you are right, the circumstances are plain rotten, and rather disagreeable with me, so im sorry if i appeara bit grumpy."she said softly and tried to be agreeable as much as possible as was agreeable for her to be."If you'll excuse me for a moment theres something i have to do, it has to be done."she said as if trying to control anger of the situation of the yule ball and everything that happened. She took to the stage once again and began to sing, softly at first but then louder and louder still."
Yo, ho, alll houses ogether, hoist the banners high. Heave ho, witches and wizards, never shall we die.
The queen and her men stole the king from his bed and bound him in his Bones. The school be ours and by the powers where we will we'll roam.
Yo, ho,all houses l together, hoist the banners high. Heave ho, witches and wizards, never say we die.
Some men have died and some are alive and others fly by the sea ? with the keys to the cage... and the Devil to pay we lay to Fiddler's Green!
The bell has been raised from it's watery grave... Do you hear it's sepulchral tone? We are a call to all, pay head the squall and turn your wands toward home!
Yo, ho, alltogether, hoist the banners high. Heave ho, witch and wizards, never say we die. The way the singing she was doing and the song itself sounded like she was raising a call to arms or was out of her mind.

(Oi, I'm so, so sorry! Don't hate me! Please. D= If you don't respond I understand, but I should at least post to make up for it. <_<) "You're not acting yourself, you're acting worse, if such things are possible...""Do my actions displease you?" he remarked, momentarily looking away from her. Aaron cleared his throat in spite of himself and then shook his head, turning his gaze back upon Carma. The firewhiskey, indeed, he thought. It probably wasn't a likely excuse, for he wasn't a heavy drinker; and even if he was, Carma wouldn't know that. But she insisted on a dance, and it would be a bit disrespectful if he continued to deny her persistance. He allowed himself to be pulled away, allowed Carma to lead them onto the dance floor. He mimicked her, putting his hands where the belonged and following her lead almost perfectly. Just because he didn't do it regularly and didn't like it, didn't mean Aaron knew nothing about it in the first place. He listened to her, closing his eyes and following the rhythm without delay or problem. The issue of the headmaster (or headmistress, in some cases) was something he had been interested in for some time. Every event played out in their favour: Abba was gone, perhaps dead; Ariyanna was in a state of mental incompetence (in terms of taking control); and Carma, the least suspected of the three people who caused the mayhem at the Headmaster's memorial, was the only one capable to take over the title as head of the school. That was perhaps the only conscious thought that could make Aaron feel better, but his outward expression changed none. "All in all, nothing is too troublesome," he said. "That is, there's nothing too difficult for yourself to handle, right?" Aaron lowered his voice, talking more quietly than usual. As she pulled closer to him, he knew she meant business; he knew that she would need to tell him anything, even if it was indeed a lot less serious than the big deal he made of it, and she had the right to know. "For one," he whispered in her ear, "my mother is dead. Her Irish estate is to be split amongst myself and those... those McGenniens." He said it as if the mere thought of it plagued him, made him ill. "But my mother loved my sister and myself equally, so it is only right that they gain half the land. But..." His voice grew even quieter, so low that only Carma could hear, perhaps barely. "But I did a little scouting in my absence. I spent too much time in Ireland to have dealt with such small matters as property, Carma, and I've done a little watching on some... people. I don't have any news worth speaking of, but I need you to promise me, once more, that you'll do the right thing in your selfishness. No matter what." By "the right thing", there were many things that could be implied. Aaron, however, didn't mean what was right for the Death Eaters, or those who associated with them; he meant whatever was right for Carma. If betraying him was the right thing, then he would so understand, for messing with a Death Eater or anyone who associated with them was a very serious, very grave matter. "I just need a little reassurance, love, that's all." He opened his eyes and forced another smile on his lips, though it was less grim this time. (And it kind of sucks, sorry. )
