Sirius's conscience, Salina, didn't want to make a super long post for this thread, so he decided to stick with the basis. Sirius decided that if he was gonna have a first year party, he should have it somewhere where everyone would feel TALL. Naturally, that would be the rooftop lounge. Then, he figured that if they were vampires like everyone said they were, they would have to drink blood... To get the blood, he had killed several large mammals then poured their blood from their veins into the large punch bowl. Only not really, because the idea of that made Sirius want to cry. He had just put fruit punch into the bowl, but he labeled it blood so hopefully no one would drink it and he could have it all to himself. Additionally, there were lots of random food items for everyone to eat (EVEN THOUGH THERE WAS NOTHING QUITE LIKE HUMAN FLESH!!! ). All of this was courtesy of his father and his Uncle Cammy, because Sirius took it all when they weren't looking. NOW EVERYONE JUST NEEDED TO COME!! ;D [[Well, this party is for first years, but anyone can really come. ]]

After wandering around the castle for some while, Paige had discovered a lonely party on the Rooftop Lounge. And since IRL Paige hasn't RP'ed in over two years, she figured to keep this simple. ANYWAYS.
After climbing the TALL stairs, she noticed the table with the punch and all. It was labeled as 'blood', but it had the consistency of water. It was PROBABLY punch. Just saying.
She hid in the corner, giggling to herself over the fact that was a first year throwing a party. After pondering this, she decided that since not many people would probably come, she decided to introduce herself.
"So. Um. I'm Paige." she stage-whispered (quite loudly, to the point it was an 'indoor voice', but since Paige didn't have an 'indoor voice', we'll call it stage-whispering). "Who are you, and what have you done with my nail polish?" she asked, since all her nail polish has been missing since the beginning of the new term.

So Lexi wasn't a first year anymore but, well, it was close and when she heard tell that there was a party up in the rooftop lounge she decided to sneak up there. She wasn't sure who'd organised the little firstie get together but hell she might be able to get away with pretending to be one for a while maybe. Or they might not even give a hoot.
She didn't have all that far to climb to reach the lounge, the Ravenclaw tower being pretty high in the castle and she'd been there first of course to change her clothes and dump her messy trunk full of stuff she needed for the term to come. She'd sort all that out later, plenty of time to get organised, not that Lexi was ever very organised.
She skipped up the stairs, twirling a little of her chocolate brown hair through her fingers as she went and bounded into the room where the party was....kinda quiet. She stopped mid skip and looked around, yep pretty quiet there was an older Ravenclaw girl she could recognise but wouldn't have a hope of naming and the apparant organiser of the party...wasn't that one of the triplets?
"Umm, hi...I thought there was a party up here or did I get the messages confused again?" Lexi asked, her thick Scottish accent ringing quite loudly around the still fairly empty room.

Wentworth was feeling quite social since the begin of the new term, and when he heard of the "First Year Party" he thought it would be an excellent chance to meet other first years and possibly strike up some friendships.
After mounting the stairs to the top of the castle he realized that perhaps not everyone had come to the party, but no one said that an intimate event couldn't be fun. He had heard the sounds of others going up the stairs and realized that others may be on their way up.
There were two students of approximately his age, this made him feel more at ease. He walked over to the group and introduced himself, "The view is great from up here, but where are my manners? Hello, I'm Wentworth...Fitzwilliam Wentworth, and you are?"

As Lexi spoke her queries to the quiet room another person had made their way up the stairs to the lounge giving her slighly more confidence that she had indeed heard right. Granted the evidence of a sort of refreshment table gave it away slighly too but Lexi still had to wonder.
The arrival of another young boy to the small gathering made it feel a little more like a party was going on and as this boy introduced himself as Wentworth Lexi figured why not do the same, it was only polite after all. And as no one else already there seemed to be jumping in to do it first she decided to go ahead.
"Hi, it's nice to meet you." Lexi smiled as she spoke to the Gryffindor boy, carefully forming her words so they could understand her through her thick Scottish accent and she wouldn't need to repeat herself, "My name's Lexi."

Wentworth smiled genuinely and extended a hand to shake and said, "It's a pleasure to make your acquaintance Lexi." After shaking hands, Wentworth go out his wand and continued, "I suppose the only thing lacking from this party is a little music. Accio Victrola." In just a few seconds an antique victrola flew to the rooftop lounge. "Ah there it is. Now just give me a moment." Wentworth wound it up and placed the needle on the record in the player. The album is the complete works of the Ministry of Magic.

Lexi shook the boys hand and smiled politely thinking all the while, gosh doesn't he talk fancy. "So, uh, where are you from?" She asked the Gryffindor boy having to wonder, somewhere in England that much she could tell but the way he spoke conjured up images of some very idyllic countryside with grand houses and chocolate box cottages in her mind; but she didn't want to pigeonhole someone on assumptions alone.
"Yeah I suppose you're right." Lexi admitted, parties were usually a little more comfortable, not to mention lively with a little music. But she was most suprised when Wentworth performed a summoning charm and called for his, did he really say victrola. Ok so Lexi knew that at Hogwarts none of the typical muggle gadgets actually worked but it surprised her to see that there wasn't a more updated magical version for playing music. As the rather grand and old looking music player drifted into the room Lexi was even more surprised.
"Wow that looks like it's worth some money, you don't mind bringing it to school?" She had to ask, if it was her she'd be terrified of it getting broken or something, it looked like a family heirloom, not that her family owned anything quite so grand looking...nor anything she felt the need to bring to school with her.
"So um, what music is this." She asked with a slightly wrinkling of her nose. She supposed there was no accounting for taste.

Joshua had heard rumors going around about vampires, and he was scared. He never really liked vampires, and thought they were scary. Cassidy would tell him scary stories about vampires, and he would always get mad and punch her in the arm. Of course, they weren't real.. or so he hoped, but he still felt the need to de-bunk this rumor.
With his handy pirate sword he tip-toed up towards the roof, where all these "vampires" would be meeting up. <_< He gulped numerous times, and chomped on some broccoli to calm his nerves, until he came upon the rendez-vous point of all these scary vampires. He had to be strong, because there might've been ladies in there! He had to show them how brave he was!
Joshua rushed in, his sword ready. He saw a bunch of students mingling about, (probably lured in!) and walked lightly over to the punch bowl, in battle position. He quickly took a cup and scooped some blood from the punch bowl, and chugged it like he saw the older kids do at The Three Broomsticks... just as he suspected, it had been fruit-punch flavored blood.
He glanced around at all the people, looking for where the evil vampires might've been hiding. They had to be somewhere... he just had to find them. In the mean time, he chomped on his broccoli some more, awaiting on of them to make a wrong move. He would catch those meanie vampires!

"Stop Stooooooop" Caerwyn shrieked as she chased the little rodent up the stairs "Wait we can be friends I swear" She called out opening the door that the little animal had slipped under. " I promise not to leave you in my purse that was my mum not me" she told it before swooping down and seizing it in her fingers. "There now" she told it "I promise to love you and squeeze you and call you Jason." she slipped a little tutu on the tap shoe wearing Hamster and gave it a kiss. Then she looked up.
"Uh oh" she shrieked diving for the table and crawling under. The roof was not an empty place, no it was full of students having a party, a party that she had just crashed. Certain they were all staring at her, ready to eat her she huddled under the table petting Jason and thinking. After a few minutes she lifted the cloth at one corner and peeked out hoping she had imagined all the people or that they had left.

Wentworth replied to Lexi, "I'm from West Sussex actually. A little town called Arundel. Perhaps you've heard of it?" ((Just as an aside, the castle from which Arundel derives its name is famous in British history. If you're interested look it up, besides the fact that it's fantastic.))
In regards to the worth of Victrola he replied in a tone which denoted that he had no idea as to its worth, "Really, my old player worth something? My mum gave it to me when I was six, because I wanted to have some music in my room. She says it's the best way to listen to music." He made little quotes in the air, "The way it was meant to be heard." Wentworth saw her expression when the music started and worried that his taste in music was not well received. "This is the Ministry of Magic, or at least that's the name of the band. There a wizard rock band."

Lexi furrowed her brow in thought, "Actually it does sound kind of familiar." She admitted. She hadn't spent an awful lot of time actually in England as she was Scottish and rarely had the chance to visit anywhere much further south, but she had attended a muggle primary school and had learned about stuff like castles and what have you.
"Well I wouldn't know for sure obviously but it just looks old and fancy...antique. Bet there is someone out there who'd like it for a collection or something." Lexi shrugged, she was twelve so hardly any authority on antiques or what have you, but she'd seen things that looked similar on all those auction programmes that her grandmother did so like to watch.
Lexi had never heard of the music that was being played before, she honestly didn't know an awful lot of wizard music and for some reason just never seemed to like them as much as the muggle stuff she was used to listening to. Plus it was only just the end of the holidays when she had spent six long weeks fully settling back into muggle mode at home with her father, it was often hard to get back into the swing of the magical world when school started up again. "It sounds ok," She said with a shrug, not wanting to offend the boy or anything, "Just never heard it before that's all. I'm sure some of the others here will know it."
Looking around the room Lexi noted that a couple of other people had joined them up on the roof...both looked to be first years which made Lexi wonder if she should still be there. But no one had actually asked her about if she was a first year or not, and besides Paige sat over in the corner was much older than Lexi was. Though she was a little baffled when one of the newcomers decided to dive under the table and hide.
Peering underneath, holding her long brown locks out of her face Lexi smiled at the girl. "Hi, um, why are you hiding under the table? Are people playing some party games and haven't let us in on it or something?"

IT HAD TAKEN SIRIUS A LITTLE WHILE TO REPLY TO THIS, BUT HE WAS DETERMINED. > Sirius was super stoked for this shindig, even if he didn't act like it. He didn't care if two or twenty people came... He didn't have many people to conversate with anymore, seeing as his brother and sister had left (died of malaria or somehing), so the only person he had left was Blake. AND HE LOVED BLAKE, BUT BLAKE WAS KINDA MEAN SO HE WANTED A MORE LOVING RELATIONSHIP!! Unfortunately, Sirius was a little annoying but he was gonna change that, right here and now! ;D Of course, he was sort of magnetized to the Hufflepuffs... they were the least likely to beat him up. Prancing over to a blonde-haired boy, Sirius wrapped his arms around the kid and gave him a SUPER GINOROUS GLOMP-ESQUE HUG!!! "HIIIIIII WANNA BE MY FRIEND? MY NAME IS SIRIUS MY FAVORITE COLOR IS PURPLE AND SOMETIMES I WET THE BED STILL BUT MY MUMMY TELLS ME IT'S OKAY!!" Oh yeah... lookin' cool.

Caerwyn shrieked when it became apparent her hiding place had been infiltrated. Jumping out she stood up and looked around the roof. Wait what was this??? Vampires??? Oh No what would she do? Taking stock of the situation she noticed one boy was holding a sword and that he looked more like a pirate then a Vampire. Running behind him and forgetting her shyness in her panic she knocked the boy hugging him away and then through her arms around pirate boy "Help Help save me before the eat me" She wailed "I am too young to diiiiieeeee"

Lexi frowned as the younger girl scampered out from under the table in a complete panic and headed over towards the other boy that had joined the little gathering, the on who'd come dressed as a pirate.
"ooookay then." She said with a shake of her head, she wasn't that scary surely, in fact Lexi was almost sure she wasn't scary in the slightest she just didn't have it in her. She returned to speaking with Wentworth. She knew they were all still young and everything, Lexi was still only twelve herself after all, but I mean come on there was a limit to the acting like a five year old surely? When it had been her, the starting of Hogwarts (or a muggle secondary school even) was a sign that it was time to grow up and start acting a little more mature and get down to the serious business of learning some magic and what have you....maybe that's why she was a Ravenclaw.
"Hmm I dunno what's wrong with her." Lexi said to Wentworth with a shrug, gesturing to the girl who had run away shrieking. "But I don't think it's anything to do with party games. Unless I'm completely missing the point of it."

"Well, the truth is the theme for the party could be playing a significant role in Miss Caerwyn's actions. After all, aren't vampires supposedly a group to be scared of? Although I've never seen that to be true." It's true that his few experiences with vampires had led Wentworth to not truly believe in the superstitions about their malevolent intentions to decimate the population.
"But then again perhaps you don't know her?" Wentworth beckoned for Caerwyn to come over, "Caerwyn come over here. What are you doing?" He motioned indicating Lexi, "Miss Caerwyn Kynward have you met Miss Lexi yet?"
