Keelly leaned her head out of the compartment window. Her mother and faather were waving at her and saying random things of advice that were not at all helpful. "Wait to have sex!" Her mother yelled. Keelly gasped and turned a bright shade of purple. Rolling her eyes she said, "Mother!" Why did her parents have to be so lovey dovey now that Keelly was a fourth year? They definatly weren't in her past years at Howarts. No answer came to her, so she finally gave up and sat down in the compartment, still blushing. Parents just didn't understand.
She was going back to school. Joy... The only thing she was really looking forward to was beating Amber Black at every exam and hang out with her friends, especially Athradien. It was going to be fun, she relized that, but she had signed up for 7 classes and wasn't sure if she could handle them. That would be the hardest part. She was also disappointed that she didn't get to be prefect this year, even though many had voted for her. She brushed that off her shoulder and began 'reading' a text book. Any thing to look edumacational.
The blue and yellow compartment seats looked horrible. Those two colors weren't to be mixed ever. They also smelled worn out like really old leather, but she didn't have a problem with that. Leather was fine with her. The colors just ruined the effect. Keelly bit into some crackers that she had brought with her, hoping that the trolley would roll up the aisle quickly. She took up a whole seat with her body lying on it. The movement rocked her slowly to sleep and she drifted high above the train, dreaming of the year to come, and Ath.

Anna pouted lightly as she hugged her parents goodbye, seconds before the train was going to leave. "You're going to miss the train now, go on," her Dad said, pushing her up onto the step after she had finally stopped clinging to him. She was rather reluctant to board the train, because she was incredibly nervous about starting her first year at Hogwarts. She didn't know how to do any magic at all, and she had this delusion that she would get there and all of the other first years would know a million spells, and she'd just sit there looking stupid. And then, there was all the older kids. What if they treated first years there like they treated freshmen in muggle school? She'd never experienced that for herself, but she heard not so nice things.
When the train began moving she jumped and turned around, trying to find a seat before she fell over and made a fool of herself. She walked up and down the train and saw no empty compartments.. darnit, she shouldn't have put off getting on. Why hadn't she thought about this before? She walked up and down another two times before finally deciding to suck it up and ask someone if she could sit with them.
She stopped walking when she came to a compartment that only had one person in it, laying on one of the seats. "Um, is it okay if I sit here?" she asked, realizing that the girl was sleeping a minute too late. Oh no, what if she had woken her up? Should she run and hide in the bathroom? Did the train even have a bathroom?

Keelly was silently, or so she thought, dreaming about random things. Her past, her present ... and her future. Some things were nightmares. Others, not so much. But still, Keelly was aware of her tossing and turning.
Suddenly she woke up from her sleep, startled by a soft voice that undeniably belonged to a first year. She peaked open one eye and smiled. "Sure. What ever." She was trying to act like the big bad fourth year, but it wasn't coming across. She sighed and said, "My name is Keelly Hertstrom. Ravenclaw fourth year." She sat up and held out a hand with crackers in it. "Want some?" Her eyes raised over her Prada sunglasses. This girl wasn't so bad looking.
Alex, her baby maltese, was stuck in the luggage section. An acheing pain increased in Keelly's side as she thought about her doggie. She would be getting some special treats once they got out of the train. Definatley. Gathering her things from the side of her, [purse, bags, etc.] she curled up in the chair indian style, prepared for interrogation. "Sooo. Who are you?" She asked while tugging a blonde strand of hair away from her face. This was going to be an interesting ride.

Anna shrunk back a little as the girl opened an eye, bracing herself for the screaming that she thought would come. When she saw that the girl was smiling she calmed down a little, smiling back at her as she told her that she could sit with her. "Thank you!" She smiled and slipped inside the compartment, sitting down wherever there was room. "It's nice to meet you," she said, looking at the crackers in her hand and nodding her head before taking one. "Thanks."
She ate her cracker quietly, looking out the window until the other girl spoke again, asking who she was. She'd been so nervous earlier that she forgot to introduce herself, now she felt even stupider than before. "Oh, I'm Annalisse Childs. You can call me Anna, if you'd like." She shrugged, trying to sound like she wasn't scared or nervous. Thankfully, the other girl seemed nice. But Anna was intimidated by anyone older than herself.
