MAGICAL MEDICINE FIELD TRIP
((ONLY Magical Medicine students may post here, if you don't take the class and post in here, expect point deduction from your respective house!))
((Oh, yeahhh… Sorry about the G-Mod, the RP as my 'friend' will be in LightBlue))
Ruby tucked away the talisman in her pocket once she was inside the wall of St. Mungo. Everywhere she looked, she saw people rushing back and forth, and family was waiting. She ducked just in time when she heard ranting sounds behind her. A few healer went pass discussing like there was no tomorrow. She turned to the students whom started to appear one by one.
"It was nice of you to be able to join me. Keep the talisman with you at all time, if you want to get back to the class at anytime, just use it."
She began with a joke. She looked around, expecting her friend would popped out any second. A tall figure of a female Healer waved at her and she waved back. Within minutes the tall woman approaches the group with a smile.
"This is Healer Thea Faunt, and Thea, these are my students, too many to name."
Ruby started by introducing the tall woman with a pleasant look drawn on her face.
"I'd like to welcome you to St. Mungo, if you haven't been here before, try not to wander around, it's busier now than usual, you might get yourself lost. Now, if you'll just follow me." Thea started to speak, giving a few instructions to the students before asking them to follow her lead.
The group was led to the second floor, which seemed to be packed with healers and patients at every corner. A few of the nurses were rushing around the hallway with trays in their hands, mumbling to themselves. No one stopped for a chat at all.
"As you can see, it is pretty hectic here, come along." Thea spoke again once she stopped in front of a double door of what appear to be a ward. She pushed the door open and entered the ward.
Inside there are numbers of kids infected by the disease, cramped into the one ward, some of them had already have their skin turned colour. She gestured towards the class to keep up with her and Thea as she walked farther in.
"We had a few more cases reported this morning alone, I've never seen the disease spread this fast--" Thea stopped when small boy ran towards her clinging on her leg. "Neville, you have to stay in bed." She said to the little boy kindly. The small boy shook his head and sling harder onto Thea's leg. "Everyone, this is Neville Williams." She introduced the boy who then grinned sheepishly at Ruby and the class before running off back to his bed.
"Now, I understand that all of you had developed the cure for Dragon Pox, that's perfect because we can't seem to make them fast enough and the number of children that got infected increase as we speak. There are trained healers and nurses to help you, just try and get the children to drink the potion, I must warn you, some of them are a little big headed and we had been trying to feed them the cure for a few hours now and they still decline it. Do your best to try and get them to drink it." Thea explained.
A loud announcement that sounded like it came from the walls of the building disturbed Thea before she could speak another word. "Healer Faunt, Healer Faunt, report to the third floor." Said a voice. "I'm sorry, I must be off now, there's probably some case up there they can't seemed to handle." The said, quickly leaving the group.
Ruby smiled and focus back on the class, she never got around to visit St. Mungo during their busy season, it looked a little unorganized even to her. She moved aside for a young Healer whom she did not recognize to walk by before she spoke to the class again.
"You've heard Healer Faunt, just try and feed the cure to one of these kids, and try to be nice and not have a fight with any of them, remember, you're older."
Ruby looked around the ward, occupy with children from her guess, age three to nine years old. It was pretty much a chaos as she saw a couple of Healers trying to feed the cure to a young girl.
"Move along now."
((Basically, RP out your try to feed the cure to the kids in the ward, I give you the freedom to name the children you'll be feeding the cure to. If you want the kids to say anything, PLEASE colour the text different. Use only soft colours that are easy on the eyes. Your grade will be based on your RP, like always, do your best.))

"Oh my, silly ol' me, here you go Trey."
Ruby said, handing over the extra cure she had brought with her. She had totally forgotten that some students were not there the day they made the potion. She walked over at the table near the corner and emptied her pocket, it was lucky that she had brought some extra vials along with her. It doesn't hurt to be a little bit more prepared.
"Alright, for those of you who doesn't have the potion, you can come and take it from this table."
She said to the class, taking one of the vial herself as she watched the students try to feed the cure to the small patients.

Shawn squeaked quietly as he found himself in St. Mungo's with the rest of the class, he'd been too busy playing with the talisman to notice he'd even left. Giggling a little, he slipped the talisman safely into his pocket and then listened closely to Ruby's healer-friend. When she left, Shawn looked at his cure in his hand and then walked through the ward until he came to a bed with a little girl laying in it.
"Hiii," he said quietly, waving to the girl as he stood next to the bed and smiled at her. She smiled shyly and waved back, looking down at the bottle he was holding. "Ohh, okay. So I'm supposed to give this to you." He held up the bottle, wondering if it tasted icky like most potions did. He hoped not.. "It'll make you all better, okay? And it might taste kind of bad. But just umm, pretend it tastes like.. candy! That's what I always do.." He smiled slightly and nodded.
"Andd, promise not to spit it back out at me? I'll give you a lollipop if you dooon't," he said giggling a little. The girl nodded, so Shawn took the lid off of his vial and grabbed a spoon, pouring as much as he could get into the spoon without spilling it, and then held it in front of her mouth until she opened her mouth and took the potion off of the spoon. She looked like she was going to spit it out, so Shawn backed up a little, but she swallowed it, scrunching up her nose a little.
"Goood, that's good," he whispered, waiting a few seconds before pouring another spoonful and doing the same thing. "Okayy, only one more and you're all done," he said, pouring the last spoonful into the spoon and feeding it to her. He waited until she'd swallowed it, and then clapped his hands lightly. "Yaay! You did it!" he squeaked, glad he hadn't got spit up on, but more glad that she was going to get all better. At least he hoped she would.
"Here's the lollipop I promised yooou. Just make sure you're allowed to have it, okay?" he said, pulling a blue lollipop out of his pocket and sitting it next to her. "And sorry if it makes your mouth blue. It goes away in a few hours.." He smiled and nodded. "Okayy noww.. high five!" Giggling, he raised up his hand and smiled when she slapped it with her own.

Cairyn walked into St Mungos, her heart dropping when she saw that many kids had gotten the Dragon Pox disease. Holding her vial of dark, purple potion in her hand, her eye caught a girl, small enough to be her little sister. She smiled friendly, walking to her. "Hello!" Cairyn said, in a cheerful voice. The girl, however, looked away, instead of answering back. "Oookayy..." Cairyn said, and thought of a way for the girl to at least respond to her. "Do you like sweets?" Cairyn asked, her eyebrow quirked up. At the mention of sweets, the girl's head snapped into position, staring at Cairyn. "I.. Take it as a yes." Cairyn said, to the girl. "Well, you lookie here.." She said, raising her dark purple potion. The girl's eyes travelled to the potion, her facial expression contorting in dislike. "You see, I own Honeydukes.." Cairyn said, looking at the girl's shocked expression. "Well, at least she was responding.." Cairyn thought, and carried on.
"My name is Cairyn, what's yours?" She said, in a happy mood. "Deliah." The girl said, softly. Cairyn smiled. "Okay, Deliah." She said. "You see this vial here?" Cairyn said, raising the potion again. "Well, it's actually a sweet." Cairyn said. "I need to test it out, it's actually a suuuuuuper sour and foul tasting sweet that.. You know, can be placed in your friend's food?" Cairyn said, her eyebrow raised. Deliah nodded her head. "You wanna try it out for me?" Cairyn said, her head tilted to the side, as if begging the girl, but not in that way. The girl's facial expressions were contorted together, as if thinking. "You knooow.. This sweet can actually cure you!" Cairyn said, nodding her head enthusiastically. After a few minutes, the girl replied. "Okay, it's fine with me."
Cairyn could almost burst out in joy, but she kept it in. "Okay then!" Cairyn said, and opened the vial. She took a spoon, and dipped the spoon into the 'sweet', and it slowly travelled to Deliah. "Choo choo.. Choo choo... Here comes the train! Where's the tunnel?" Cairyn said, the spoon acting as a train. Deliah actually giggled, and opened her mouth. "Goes in the train..." Cairyn said, as she fed Deliah the potion. Deliah's eyes were squeezed shut, and she looked like she was going to spit it out. "You know, if you can actually drink this without any facial expression, you can fool your friends, by drinking this first and then giving them the potion." Cairyn said, coming up with a brain wave. Deliah's eyes opened, as she swallowed the potion in a gulp.
Cairyn smiled. "Yayy.. You did it!" She said, softly. "If.. If I finish this horrible sweet, and next time, when I'm well, can I visit Honeydukes and you'll give me a sweet?" Deliah said, a smirk on her face. Cairyn thought it over, and nodded her head. "Sure, I'll just pay it for you, I guess." Cairyn said, smiling. She filled the spoon again, and fed Deliah. "Okay, let's just get this over with, okay?" Cairyn said, her eyebrow quirked up. Deliah nodded her head, in the process of swallowing the 'sweet'. After another spoonful and spoonful of the potion, Deliah was up to the last spoon. "It's the last ride, and the train goes.. Choo choo!" Cairyn said, as she fed Deliah the last spoonful of the dark purple potion. Cairyn smiled, and clapped her hands once she was done. "Do you have a sweet now?" Deliah asked. "I want to get the taste out of my mouth."
Cairyn nodded her head, she had a sweet with her. Taking out an Acid Pop, Cairyn gave the sweet to Deliah. Deliah gladly ripped apart the wrapper and sucked on the lollipop as if it was the only thing on earth. Cairyn smiled, hugged Deliah. "See you in Honeydukes!" Cairyn said, and left St Mungos, with Deliah waving behind her.

Keira watched as Ruby introduced her friend Thea she smiled and held onto the tailsman inside her robe pocket. Looking around at the busy hospital wing she followed them into the ward, making sure she did not touch a thing. The Professor wanted them to give some medicine to the children. Keira walked further into the room when she spotted a girl about the age of three... Keira walked up to the bedside of a small girl and smiled. "Hello, I am Keira. Can you tell me your name? the little girl shrinked away from her and Keira smiled and crouched down so she was at eye level with her. You know, when I was little almost your age I too got really sick, I just wanted my mom. Keira thought the best way to ease the little girls fear was by talking to her. The little girl looked at Keira with big brown eyes and Keira reached over and brushed her hair tucking it behind the little girls ear.
"You... were sick too? I'm Ashlee." the little girls eyes filled with tears and Keira's heart gave a tug. She nodded not trusting her voice and opened the vial she brought with her. The little girl srunched up her nose "No more icky medicine.. I dont like that stuff"
Keira smiled "This will help you get all better and soon you will be playing again." she gave the vial to Ashlee and smiled "It is very nice to meet you Ashlee. You are my new friend." Ashlee took the vial and then drank from it not bothered by the taste since they had made it to taste like apples and cinnimon.
When Ashlee was done she smiled for the first time Keira met her. Putting the topper back on the vial Keira gave a hug to her. "I'm very happy that you took your medicine, and your nurse will be back soon ok. Ashlee layed down on her bed looking rather sleepy, "I am sleepy.... thank you Keira for...."Ashlee's words drifeted off as she fell aslep Keira thought it was apart of the cure the class had made and combed Ashlee's hair until she fell asleep. Keira left a card on the small table beside the sleeping little girl and touched the tailsman again and went back to class.

Kirsten soon found herself meshed in with the rest of the class at St. Mungo's. She looked around in fascination, seeing people scurrying back and forth, paying no mind to the small crowd of students that had appeared. Kirsten ducked as a nurse hurrying by almost closelined her with the tray she was carrying. The nurse didn't even spare Kirsten a glance, continuing on her way.
Kirsten tucked the talisman away, smiling politely as Healer Thea Faunt showed up next to Professor Real. Following her and the rest of the class, Kirsten made it to the second floor and into the ward. The sight before her made her content smile disappear. It was so sad. She clutched the vial in her hand, looking to Healer Faunt for further instruction. But, the healer had already disappeared to answer the request for her on the third floor.
Kirsten skipped over to a bed occupied by a small boy, a cheery smile making its way onto her face. The boy smiled weakly as Kirsty popped up next to him.
"Hiii! I'm Kirsten, but you can call me Kirsty. I'm supposed to feed you this medicine...stuff." She said, smiling.
"I'm Chase. And, do I have to take the medicine?" The boy pouted, giving Kirsten puppy dog eyes.
Aww, he was so cute! Kirsten resisted the urge to hug him to death, crossing her arms in a stubborn manner. She had a job to do, and gosh darnit, she was going to do it!
"You'll never get better if you don't take your medicine, silly Chase! And, a little tip, to help weaken the awful taste, do as I say. Mmkay?" Kirsten said, recalling an old trick her mother said help ignore the awful taste. It kind of worked. When Chase nodded, Kirsten grinned, taking a spoonful of the cure from her vial.
"Okay, now, put your hand in the air." Chase did as he was told, right hand flinging into the air. "Plug up your nose with it!" Kirsten used her free hand to plug up her nose, voice become nasily. Chase giggled, mimicking her.
"Like this?" Chase asked with a giggle at the sound of his own voice.
"Yes, very good! Now let go!" Kirsten put her hand back down, voice becoming normal. Chase did it also, smiling. Kirsten smiled back, glad they were having fun with it. She was sure the Dragon Pox Cure didn't taste pleasant, and a bit of giggling before taking it made it seem better.
"When I count to three, open your mouth and plug up your nose and I'll feed you the medicine. Alright. One...two...three! COMMENSE SEQUENCE!" Kirsten exclaimed the last part with a giggle, shoveling the spoonful into Chase's mouth. She grinned as he kept his nose plugged, swallowing back the potion with a small grimace. Hehe. Kirsty never said it would get rid of the taste completely.
"Just a few more times, okay, Chase?" Kirsten said in a nurturing, smiling as the boy nodded hurriedly. He obviously just wanted to get the rest done with. She fed him spoonful after spoonful, until all was done.
"YAY! We did it!" Chase grinned cheerfully, happy that the potion taking was over for the time being.
"Yeah! See, it wasn't so bad! Just make sure to take it again when they ask you to, and you'll be better in no time." Kirsten said, grinning at her new found pal.

Oh, my. In a few minutes, Jessy found himself in a mess full of people in St.Mungo's. Lucky him, he didn't lost himself from the class. Following quickly the class, he listened carefully to Ruby's friend, Thea Faunt. "Okaaaay!" He whispered to himself, a bit excited that he was going to help. Smiling happily, he rushed over to the tables where the medicine was held and took one. Just as he turned around, bump, a nurse shoved right past him, quickly escaping from him. Jessy knew that she was busy...but...ow.
Sighing normally, he skipped around the ward, looking sadly at all the sick children. It almost made him cry...the sight of so many people in need. Finally, Jess stopped at a bed, occupied by a quiet 7-year old girl. She was so prettyyyyy...
"Hi!" Jess greeted the girl with a happy smile on his face as he approached the girl. And what did the girl said back? ...nothing. She just raised her eyebrow in a pompous way and kept quiet. Laughing uneasily and goofily, Jess repeated his greeting. "Hi!" He kinda felt a little stupid...maybe this girl wasn't interested in talking with him?
"Hello..." She finally said, frowning a bit, as she greeted Jess with a gloomy way. "Heeeeeey. Turn that frown upside down, missy!" Jessy half-yelled and giggled, forgetting that he was around sick people...and...sick people don't like loud stuff, right?
"What's your name!?" Jessy asked, still in hyper mode. Again, it took a few seconds for the girl to reply. "...S...S...S..Scarlet." The girl finally muttered back, closing her eyes nervously. "Scaaaarlet?" He questioned, since he didn't heard very well the girl. "Scarlet! And what are you doing here!?" The girl attacked verbally, not acting so shy anymore...more like irritated...uh ohhh, her true colors were coming out.
"Ummmm...well...I came here to give you some medicine!" He said, blinking surprisingly at the girl's sudden aggressiveness, but he simply let that slipped. He pulled out the potion out of his robe, and displayed it in front of the girl's face. "Tadaaaaa!" Jessy said, giggling. But...this girl...was not amused. "If I drink it...will you leave me alone?"
Sighing defeatedly, he nodded sadly. What's up with this girl!? Did Jess' breath stank or something? Was he acting annoying? Maybe this girl just mad because she's sick. Frowning, he shoved slowly a handful of medicine.
...strangely...the girl's reaction to the medicine was a smile. "Urrr. DOES THIS MEDICINE TASTE GOOD!?" He freaked out, about to taste the medicine. She shook her head, smiling warmly. "Noooo...you're just one of the first person who has ever talked to me in here...and you're nice..." She said, hugging Jessy tightly. ...and they kept talking...for...uhh...2 hours?

Post by Kiaro Matuchi on Sept 15, 2006 21:35:30 GMT -5
Kiaro entered the Wing just as she had flown away from the fireplace. She landed with a THUMP! just as Thea started to show them around the ward. She scared... generally because she was a baby when it came to seeing sick children, but hopefully she could handle these children. With her vial in hand, she began walking ahead of the group. Most of the children had already been fed their potion, but she knew someone probably hadn't been fed yet. She looked carefully around, hoping not to stray too far away from Professor Ruby. She bit her lip, walking on.
She came to a room that looked empty at first, but then she heard a soft cough. She then noticed the medical sheets a pile by the door. She pushed it open, expecting to see an adult rather than a kid, and it turns out there was both. But just as the nurse was about to feed what looked like a boy the potion, she yelled, "STOP!" The nurse looked startled, but she simply held up the vial and the nurse nodded. Kiaro looked around simply, wondering where the begin. The small boy's heart was hammering, or so she could hear.
"Just feed me it and get it over with" the boy snapped. Kiaro looked over at him with slightly angry eyes. But she knew she couldn't get mad at a boy who had a disease... that was plain cruel. She moved over toward him, and she could sense him seeming look slightly taken aback. "My name's Kiaro and I'm here to help" she said softly. This seemed to lighten the spirits of the boy. Seeing as the boy was probably rather ill, he was also very moody.
"What kind of name is Kiaro?" he asked, with a slight smile. Kiaro could see him looking slightly guessing, as if he wanted her to continue what she was doing. He looked a tad older than her, but boy was this kid hot. She felt sorta bad... She knew she couldn't have a relationship with this kid even if she did try. It just wouldn't work out. "It's a very cool name... and do you mind me asking yours?" she asked sweetly, batting her eyelashes in the most sweet way. He sort of gave up as a smile curled on his face.
"My name's Jeff" he said easily, sitting up for the first time since she got there. Kiaro nodded, finally getting why she was there. She coughed nervously, and gave him the vial. "I made it in Magical Medicine class" she said softly. He nodded, and drank it down. He closed his eyes with a smile on his face. "mmm thank you" he said, leaning against his pillow. A silent tear trickled down her face as he kissed him on the forehead. Without turning around, she said goodnight.

Post by Rowan Hawthorn on Sept 16, 2006 20:06:30 GMT -5
Pop Rowan appeared at St. Mungo's and followed Ruby around the wards. It was definitely a place where Rowan wouldn't want to go even on her best days. Besides, the uniforms probably didn't even come in her size. More than half of the people there were taller than her. She heard the sound of feet shuffling and patients fussing. Now, if she had ever had any doubt, Rowan knew that she would not be looking for a job here. But the healers did get some pretty cool shoes, so maybe Rowan would reconsider.
She held the vial in her purse, cursing herself for making it in the first place. Now she had to feed it to one of these brats in a bed. Looking them over, Rowan wanted to find one that wasn't too infected or too little. She didn't want one that would fight back either. A tiny, seven year old, with no teeth would be perfect...but it looked like they all had their teeth, their weapons you could say. She walked along the beds, silently remembering never to get sent here, and read the different charts. Finally, she settled on a little twirp of a kid named...Okay, so she forgot his name. Rowan would just look back at the chart. Dillian...I wonder if anyone ever called him Dill before. Rowan sat on the edge of his bed, smiling perky and cheerful.
"So Dill, or is it Dillian? How're things going, m'dear?"
Dillian looked up with a look of total disgust. How dare she just sit there...acting as if she owns the place...stupid little witch... He folded his arms and stuck out his tongue. "It's not like you care anyway what I'm called..."
If it was possible, Dillian sank father back into his pillow, as if trying to blend in as some desperate hope that Rowan would just go pick another pitiful patient to pick on...or cure. Feeling much too much like a smartass, Rowan grabbed his cup of water and flicked some into Dillian's face. She wasn't going to give up that easily, not when a grade was riding on it. After all, she did have her own standards to uphold. She looked back at Ruby who seemed to be caught up in her friend. Seeing no help, Rowan looked back at Dillian and stuck her own tongue out at him. Two could play his game.
"So, Dill. Is there anything fun to do in here? Or do you just sit there and stare at people, terrorizing the staff?"
He seemed to perk up a little bit when she mentioned terrorizing the staff. He sat up a little bit and leaned forward, his eyes had a little bit of a twinkle in them. Totally distracted, Rowan paid no attention to what Dillian was doing exactly. Dillian had reached over and grabbed his glass of water and tossed it in Rowan's face. Sputtering, she grabbed the little pink pitcher and dumped it on him...she just hoped Ruby didn't consider that fighting.
"I terrorize whoever crosses me, even you..."
"What do you mean me? And thank you, it was a little warm in here and that splash of water cooled me off. Now we can get down to business. You're sick and disgusting. I'm not. Now what can I do about that?"
Great...She'd managed to tick him off again and he sank back into the pillow. Well, Rowan thought she had ticked him off, but she really hadn't. It was sunny outside and poor Dillian was stuck in a bed, surrounded by children younger and older than him. Rowan almost felt sorry for him, except that water was still dripping off of her face.
"It's not like you could do anything anyway...these old bats are trying to get me to drink something terrible, but it's not going to help. Look at them, they can't even get rid of their wrinkles!!"
"Well, what if I said that I had something that could help you. Maybe I'm not as young as I look. Perhaps I did find something to get rid of wrinkles...And if it didn't work, you'd only waste a few seconds swallowing my trick. Want to try?"
She dangled the vial in front of him, taunting him with it, as if calling him a chicken. Please....please, just take the darn thing. I'm tired and I want to go take a nap. She watched him as he decided if it was worth it. Dillian seemed to be weighing his options and finally grabbed for the vial. Rowan jerked it away. After all, we all want things that we can't have.
"Just let me have the blasted thing all ready."
"Fine then." And with that, Rowan tossed the vial in front of him on the bedspread. He pulled the stopped out and drank the cure. She feigned a frown and then shrugged. "Well, now what am I supposed to have, huh?"
Rowan gave him a pat on the head and stood up, getting ready to go. As she saw it, she had done her bit, hopefully gained a good grade, and cured a brat. She was turning away, about to walk, when he touched her hand. "Thanks...you were...nice." And just as Rowan was going to tell him thank you for being so good about the whole thing, she felt a spitwade fly past her face. "Why you little..."

All of a sudden, Darla finds herself in St. Mungo's. She looks around and steps aside as two healers stride between them. They follow Healer Faunt up to the second floor and into a ward.
When they get inside, Darla is affected by the sight of all of those little children. She puts her hand into her pocket and gets the vial out, sighs deeply and after the professor leaves them to deal with the children, she walks up to the bed which seems to be owned by a little girl.
She faces her with a big smile on her face. "Hello, cutie. Can I sit down here?"
The girl looks up at her with big eyes. Darla realizes she likes the little girl's eyes. The girl speaks with a slightly muffled voice. "Yes, you can."
Darla sits down at the foot of her bed, still smiling. "My name is Darla. What's your's, dear?" she asks sincerely.
The girl doesn't speak for a moment. Then, slowly "My name is Eliza." She stops for a moment to look at her. Then suddenly, she bursts out. "You're not one of those horrible tealers, aren't you?"
Darla is completely caught off guard. She begins to laugh, but has to stop after a short while, because everyone gave her a confused look. "No, I'm not! And y'know, the Healers wear white robes, not the ones like mine -plain black."
Eliza shakes her head. "Not that they didn't try. Younger tealers in black robes. As if we're stupid. Besides" she gives Darla a dirty look. "I don't like the name Darla."
Darla thinks for a moment how to reply her. Then she nods. "Yes, I'm not quite fond of my name, either. But I wouldn't mind that now if I were you. I'm your..." Darla takes out the vial in a ta -daa mood. "Sister tealer now. And believe me, I'm not gonna hurt you. I just wanna make you feel better."
Eliza immediately backs up in her bed, until she finally gets up to her small feet and leans to the wall. "No way! I know you were one of them! I'm not drinking that!" she shrieks.
Darla knows that would be of no good. She tries for one last time before playing it with her way. "Don't you wanna feel better?" she asks to the little girl in a sing -song voice.
Eliza folds her arms in refusal and turns to face the wall. "If I'm gonna feel better with that, then no!" she replies in a high -pitched voice.
Darla turns her back to the girl too. Now it's her time. "Okay. Your choice. But you don't know exactly what this illness makes, I guess." She turns her head back just in time to see Eliza looking unsurely at her. "So what are they?" Eliza asks sceptically. Darla turns her back again. "Well... As a tealer[/i]..." She gives a strong stress to the last word. "I've seen many cases on this before. And mostly..." she turns to Eliza again, and is delighted to see that she's listening to her intently. "The victims turn into little dragons if they didn't take this..." she shakes the bottle in front of Eliza's big eyes. "Precious little cure."
She turns her back again,in one hand holding the bottle out. After a moment or so, she feels Eliza jerks the vial out of her grasp. "Oh, give it to me." Darla turns to see she is drinking the contest. A smile curls her lips, she has made it.
After Eliza drank, they look at each other for a moment. Then... "You're not a tealer. Are you?" Smiling, Darla shakes her head. "No, I'm not. No tealer would've done this, would they?" Eliza shakes her head. "No, I don't think so." "And you still hate my name?" Eliza thinks for a moment, then shakes her head. "Well, it seems more sympathetic now. Can't you stay here with me?""Sorry dear, I can't. But see you after a couple of years. At our school." Darla waves at her and goes to join her class to turn back to the school.

Karna steadied herself and quite stuck the talisman in her pocket. She had that sick feeling in the pit of her stomach again. Ugh, I always get that. Think I would rather walk she thought grumpily, and then turned her attention her Ruby and the tall woman she was talking to, and then followed along with the rest of the class to the second floor.
She listened carefully as their assignment was detailed, she walked carefully along the room, seeing that most children had someone helping them.
Near the very end of the room, she spotted a small girl snuggled down in her bed, with the blankets pulled clear up to her eyes. What drew Karna's attention, was her eyes were almost the same color of purple that this little girl's were. She smiled sweetly and walked up the side of the bed.
"May I sit here," she asked quietly, pointing to the spot next to the tiny girl, with the huge eyes.
The little girl just nodded, her eyes growing even bigger.
Karna sat gently next to her, and kept her smile. "My name is KarnaRose" she said as she reached in her bag for the vial of cure. "This is a medicine to help you feel better. Would you mind if I help you take it."
The little girls eyes grew even wider with apprehension and suspicion. She started to shake her head, when Karna interrupted her.
"I bet you think it is nasty," she said with a nod. "I don't know if it is, I have never taken it before. But if it does, I can get you something to wash the taste out."
"Juice?" the girl asked. Her voice was barley audible as she hadn't moved the blanket and had spoken in a very soft voice.
"Sure ," Karna replied. "As long as its alright with the healers."
"They let me have juice, just they have been too busy," she said, letting the blanket fall onto her chest and sitting up a little. "My name is Tilaria, and I like you."
KarnaRose giggled slightly "I like you, too. Now lets see, what kind of juice do you like?" she asked and held the vial out to Tilaria.
The little girl reached out and grabbed it. "All kinds," she said quickly, before taking the medicine in one big gulp.
KarnaRose laughed and the conjured a glass of juice onto the table next to the bed. "This is my favorite kind. It's strawberry, banana and kiwi.," she said and helped the girl take a sip.
"It's yummy," she replied and reached out for the glass. "Will you come visit me again?"
"Of course I will, I never forget a friend," she replied with a smile. "Although, you should be going home soon."
"I hope you come back before I do, and then we write each other," she said happily.
"Okay," Karna replied. "But I have to go back to school, now, okay? I will send you an owl tomorrow."
She stood up and gave the girl a small hug and then walked to the end of the ward before using her talisman to return to the school.

Cassandra stumbled momentarily, before looking around at the huge hospital. Noises echoed off at full speed, yet it was very quiet. Footsteps at different paces sounded off the floor, snores from sleeping patients, whispers of talking groups, and a variety of other things. This interested her, strangely.
Being shorter, seeing as she was only a first year, Cassie edged around to the front of the group. Just as she began to be able to view everything better, Ruby introduced the lady. Smiling slightly, she gave a tiny wave, beofre they were ushered toward the next floor. Oooh. She'd actually get to see what they did at St. Mungos.
The double doors approached her unevenly and quickly as she followed the class toward them. As they all entered, Cassie looked around, ambleing to a halt to listen. The lady went on to explain the disease, and introduce a child, before having to rush off. Cassandra was sure she had heard the assignment, but was unsure of if she had heard it right. To her glee, Ruby repeated it, before they all began walking off toward different children.
Stupidly, she just stood there still. Dragon Pox Cure? I must not have been enlisted in the class then... Standing there still, she frowned, thinking of what to do about this. She was thinking about sitting in a corner, pretending to be doing the assignment, but someone else asked about it. Smiling, she thanked him under her breath.
"Thanks, Professor." Cassandra said as she took a vial quickly, then rushed over to a young girl, her robes flowing behind her. The girl looked sad, staring at the floor, but seeing Cassandra come toward her, she smiled happily suddenly. She looked as though she was a few years young Waving, Cassie approached her.
"Hi! I am Cassie..." Trailing off, she kicked the ground shyly. "Uhm, yeah. I am here with all these people. With my teacher." She looked at the girl whom was snuggled into her bed, the blanket up to her chin.
"Hello, Cassie." The girl sat up a tad, a smile spreading on her face. "I'm Selene." The smiled spread bigger, and she glanced around at all the other students here with Cassie.
"Oh, that is a pretty name. Selene. I'll trade you." Cassie exclaimed softly with a tease. She giggled, and slowly sat down on the foot of the bed. "I have something for you. It is really yummy."
"No, it is strange. That could have called me Selena, or Serene. Not Selene." Selene pouted. "Ooh, yummy? What do you have? Can I have some?" She sat up a little more, searching Cassie for the vial. Her blonde hair brushed her shoulder and her blue eyes glistened with curiousity.
"Stop it, Selene. That is a beautiful name." Cassandra told her. "Anyway, it is...juice, I guess. Very good. And yes you can have some. Just don't drink it all to fast..." Rustling through her pockets where she had put the vial, she pulled it out. "Here." She set the vial in Selene's hand, pulling the cork out just slightly so it'd be eaiser to open.
Selene smiled brightly, watching her. Taking the bottle, she looked at the contents, observing it. "Thank you, Cassie." She opened it all the way, and sipped it. "Uhm, want to play Miss Mary Mack?" She looked up at her with hop in her eyes.
Cassie nodded a your welcome, and shifted on the end of the bed. Looking around, she noticed all the others were starting to head back to class via the portkey. When Selene asked her the quesion about playing, she shook her head, regreting her long introduction. "I am sorry, butI must go." Frowning, she stood and waved at Selene. "Bye..." Turning, she walked back toward Ruby, and returned to the class.

Yvette walked into the ward, she saw all the poor children looking very ill. She was gunna have to be careful not to catch it herself. Everyone seemed to have alreayd found someone when she spotted a small girl who looked very sweet and lonely. Yvette walked over to her with her vial. "Hey there, i'm Yvette" she said smiling at her. The girl looked up at her, her face looked so pale and she was covered in spots. The she said "I'm Emilia" "Aww that's a pretty name" she said feeling so sorry for the poor girl. Yvette handed her the vial carefully and helpul her sit up. "Want some of this potion???" she asked jokinly to her and then showed her what it said so the girl didnt think she was gunna get poisoned. The girl nodded and opened her mouth. Yvette carefully poured some of it in slowly so she didint choke her.
Yvette then waited for the potion to take affect. She started looking less pale so Yvette thought maybe she should let her go. Yvette started waling when she remembered something that seemed obvious to do. She got out a jumbo bag of gummi bears and left them on her table. The girl smiled and waved slightly. "Bye Emilia!!" Yvette said waving and then left the room
