Name: Christopher Bennet
Age: 26
Blood Status: Halfblood
Former House: Hufflepuff
School Specialties: Charms and Potions
Current Profession: Resident Healer, St. Mungos
Residence: A flat a few blocks from his job
School History:
Christopher was a shy boy, keeping to himself mostly. He did well in school but nothing amazing. He was appallingly average, not standing out in any way. He mostly stayed out of everyone's way and tried to look as non threatening as possible. His parents are both halfbloods. He was raised on the outskirts of London, and attended Hogwarts for the duration of his school years. He did not get enough Owls and Newts to receive Auror training so his mother pushed him into being a healer. He didn't want to, but his mother was after him so she could have a 'healer in the family' so there wasn't much choice.
Personal History:
He came from a two parent home, filled with affection. His parents respected each other, and supported his curious child mind. As he got older they pushed him to do more, work harder, be smarter, do better. He only succeeded in the work harder part. He never rose above average in any of his subjects. He was never on the quidditch team. He never had a date. Nobody even noticed him. He was almost like an invisible person. Which was fine. Boys and girls both terrified him.
Currently:
He began an apprenticeship under a reknowned visiting healer who came to visit St. Mungo's for two years on a study. He slaved like a dog, and all he really learned was how to clean test tubes and bedpans to the 'Master's' satisfaction. After a grueling two year apprenticeship, he began his residency at St. Mungo's and is now in his final year. The past three years as a resident has taught him a great deal, and he is looking forward to completing this year, so he can be installed as a full Healer on staff, instead of a resident, and finally let his guard down a bit. His mother continues to hope he will find something to specialize in, and make a name for himself so he can open his own office someday. His father just hopes he will finally grow a pair, and maybe show some evidence of having gotten some.
