Acamapichtli pushed and shoved his way through the crowded hallway, determined to get to the library before all the good seats were taken. He even left lunch early, as hungry as he was, and risked an asthma attack running up the stairs. Who knew avoiding one person would be so much trouble. After the little spat with Melissa, he tried getting the homework answers from Mo, but that fool was as clueless as he was. He had no choice but to take time out of his busy schedule and do his own homework. The library was the perfect place. There was peace...quiet...and not a stuck up cow in sight. He would just go to common room or the dorm, but there was always a sight chance he'd have a very unpleasant encounter with a certain someone.
His pace slowed a bit as he approached the double doors, but soon quickened as a group of sixth years emerged from the staircase. oh hell no. He zoomed passed them and straight down the aisle of tables until he reached the one on the far left, by the window. Panting, he tossed his school bag on the floor and kicked it under the chair, before taking a seat.

[hope you don't mind.. ;D ]
Unfogging the Future, The Dream Oracle, Predicting the Unpredictable, Isis thought to herself as she ran a hand along the shelves in the library. She was looking for something that could explain how she was able to know that the fire at the headmaster's funeral was going to happen. Well, maybe not exactly know. She had seen the fire, the chaos and the Dark Mark, but she had no idea that it was going to be in the Forbidden Forest, during the funeral. If she did then maybe she wouldn't have gone in the first place. Or maybe left early. But it happened there and then and she wasn't able to stop it or avoid it.
Picking out a few books and stacking them against her chest, Isis walked to a table by the window when a Gryffindor boy dropped his bag on the floor and kicked under the table Isis was heading for. He seemed a little miffed about something and she wasn't sure she wanted to sit by someone in that mood, especiallly if she was going to spread out on a table. O-kay, Isis thought, veering right towards another table. But the change in direction made her lose her grip on the books and gravity pulled all but one down to the floor. "Blast," said Isis, loud enough to earn a few shushes from some people. "Sorry." Red faced, Isis bent to pick up the books she dropped, muttering under her breath.
