Tristian sighed. He hadn’t really wondered around much down here in the dungeons so he supposed he was catching up on the time that he had lost. He had transferred here just last year and in the time he had felt like he hadn’t had enough time to really explore the place and learn where everything was. He actually felt more like he was learning more of the castle now, this year, and its inhabitants than he had ever really thought possible.
He had been popping doors open left and right since he had started his exploration down here. There weren’t any classes today so he wouldn’t have to worry about opening a door up on a class. That was a plus at least. Of course, he was running into a few locked doors that had a charm on them that wouldn’t be opened with a spell. It was a shame because he felt like he was missing out on some of the rooms.
And then he opened a door on a room that was rather…interesting to him. At least it caught and held his attention. That was the least he could ask for these days since everything seemed to be under constant scrutiny. He couldn’t help himself though with all the meditation and how clearly he was thinking. It was giving him a lot of time to really concentrate on the things that mattered to him. He stepped into the room any way and had a look. Might as well since he already had the door open.

It was yet again, another boring day at Hogwarts school, Piper was turning sixteen that month so of course had a lot to look forward to, planning a sweet sixteen birthday party and all. She made her way through the castle desperate to find something or somebody to make herself busy with, she was sick of staring at the plain ceilings laying on her bed in her dorm.
Piper made her way down the stairs from the Ravenclaw common room and all the way to the dungeons, well at least there there was something new to look at, cobwebs and spiders crawling on the walls, y'know something over than the blank canvas she had been staring at lately.
Her eyes scanned the narrow dungeon corridor seeing a guy quite ahead infront of her, looking into classrooms. It reminded her of her time as a first year exploring the school. Piper quickened her pace hoping to catch up to him. She sprang into a jog placing her hand on his shoulder as she got closer following him into the room.
"Ehh... hi." She said biting her lip, she must have startled him, being an empty corridor and all.

As Tristian stepped into the room a hand landed on his shoulder. It was warmer than his skin was so of course he could instantly feel the heat through the t-shirt that he had on. His hand twitched quickly to his wand and he pulled it out, pointing it at the person as he spun around to stare at them. His eyes narrowed at the girl before he sighed softly and lowered his wand.
“Sorry about that.” He scrunched his nose up a bit and shoved his wand back into his pocket. It was bad enough that the whole school was balancing on edge of tiping into insanity. He bit down on his lip a bit before he shook his head at her, walking further into the room. He still wasn’t done with the room yet, examining it any way. He was bored and this passed the time easily in his mind. For a bit any way.
Tristian glanced quickly over his shoulder at the girl again though. “I didn’t mean to scare you if I did by that. Tension in this place has my hair standing on end.” He shook his head once more. So really that wasn’t it. Now that he had made up his mind from the chat with Kiaro…he was a bit edge to say the least.

Piper jumped up, quite shocked rather than him being surprised at her touch, she hated wands being drawn never felt comfortable drawing her own, even in lessons. "Uhh..." She was left temporarily speechless, not exactly because of the whole wand business, it was more of something else. Pipers eyes studied his face for a moment before looking down.
Regaining the sense of speech, her brain no longer in a mushy state she looked back up at him, "No, no... I'm fine don't worry about it." She said with a smile, her azure eyes looking back down at the ground, "I thought I'd erm talk to you or something 'cause you seemed lost... well it looked that way to me... but of course I might have been wrong, no offense of course, nothing against your sense of direction or anything..." She mumbled biting down on her tongue to stop herself from rambling on.
Piper looked back up, "The names Piper... fourth year Ravencalw." She said smiling slightly, pushing her hair back off her face her eyes now scanning the room they were standing in.

Tristian smiled at the girl as she said not to worry about it. That was perfectly fine with him. He hadn’t meant to startle her in any way and he was sure that he probably seemed like some insane student. He hated that people were probably going to start thinking that and he quickly made a mental note to try to calm down or at least appear more calm than he was at the moment. There wasn’t even any one he could talk to about this.
He chuckled and shook his head. “No not lost though I understand where you could get that from.” He grinned at her, obviously entertained that she had come to that conclusion. Of course, he had been opening doors like he was lost or looking for something. “None taking… my sense of direction really isn’t that great any way.” He shrugged his shoulders up.
Tristian nodded his head at her. “Nice to meet you. I’m Tristian.” He pushed his hand back through his hair before he actually looked at her. “Oh I’m a Slytherin fifth year.” He shrugged his shoulders up again. Houses didn’t really mean much to him any more.

"Yeah well, I don't have the most perfect sense of direction so I shouldn't be one to talk." She muttered her eyes darting back down to the ground, it had been a long time since she had any contact with people other than her father so was sort of finding it hard to socialize well. Piper smiled at him and nodded back, "Nice to meet you too, Tristian." She said her teeth finding her bottom lip biting it gently, "So, what brings you down here?" She asked him curiosity filling her eyes as she looked at him, there were so many things she wanted to ask the person standing in front of her. [[Ghaaa it's terrible I woke up with writers block today. ]]

Tristian looked at her for a little bit before he nodded his head. He didn’t run into too many people that did have a good sense of direction. That was why he was glad that he always had his wand around. It honestly made life so much easier and if he didn’t have his wand he would just be…lost completely. He didn’t understand how muggles did it. But he didn’t really care because muggles didn’t even deserve that.
His eyes lingered on her for a moment before he sighed and hopped onto one of the desks in the room. “I was just looking for something to do. Sort of.” He shrugged his shoulders up before he realized that he didn’t really have a reason to be down here. “I mean…I’m kind of behind on learning everything about the school.” He smiled though it faded quickly. “What about you?” He raised his brows.

Piper looked at him and stood by the desk rather than sitting next to him... it would of made things a little awkward for her, something she didn't want to happen of course. Piper looked at him trying to pick her words right, "Change of scene." She said shrugging too, trying to bite back a giggle. "I got kinda bored of my dorm so decided to come down here... I didn't really expect anybody to be here." She mumbled on, her teeth finding her lips again, biting them.
"There's not much to learn about the school really.. it's all pretty boring, at this hour the rooftop lounge would probably be quite busy, along with the lake... I don't go to either of those places too much, I quite like the playground though, especially at twilight, it gets empty, gives me time to my thoughts y'know." She said with a smile, her hand running through her long locks of brunette hair.

Tristian watched her in an almost entertained way. He realized that she kept biting her lip and in his mind he was analyzing the different reasons that she would keep doing that. His was usually nerves or annoyance. He had a feeling that hers was probably nerves instead of anything else because she seemed sort of shy. It wasn’t often that he talked to people that were shy so it was almost a nice change in personality. He chuckled softly. “I understand that. There’s too many first years running around in our common room these days for me to really stay in there long. I might as well have been on last year but…now I see that it’s their age and not the amount of time that they’ve spent here.”
Tristian shrugged his shoulders up, half at the last thing that he had said and half at what she had said about the school. He could understand that some places around the school were boring but he had a feeling that it all depended on the company that was in those places whether they were fun or not. Like if Renn was there then it would be entertaining to him because he liked her company and she always seemed to be making him laugh. “I haven’t been down to the playground. I suppose I should take a trip down there.” He shrugged his shoulders again. There were too many places still that he hadn’t got around to seeing.

Piper nodded as to what he was saying trying to get rid of the blush in her cheeks without having to fan herself, "Yeah I understand where you're coming from... first years ughhh, oh gosh and lately there have even been first years making out in the common rooms! It's gross." She said giggling as she remembered a scene she had seen in there once. She looked down at the ground keeping her teeth from her lips as she had realized that it was something he'd noticed.
"Yeah... but don't go too early otherwise you'll find it packed.. well, you can go I mean I'm not trying to tell you what to do and what not to or anything but y'know..." She said blushing deeper, well she didn't want to give him the wrong impression now, did she? She had seemed to do that a lot when she was younger, it wasn't exactly a good thing.
"What do you think of the school so far, then? How are you finding classes and stuff? Where were you before you came?" She asked curiously, well she barely knew the person in front of her and wanted to understand more about his world, from what she had seen most of the students at Hogwarts had been brought up in completely different environments and such, Piper had always been curious to find out more about people... their past and such.
[[Sorry it took me such a long time to post, I kinda just remembered about the thread now. <_<]]

Tristian quirked his brow at her. He hadn’t seen any first years making out and thank the lord for that. It was insane to even think about the little ickles making out. Hell, he himself didn’t make out with people in public. Well actually he didn’t make out with any one. But if he did he certainly wouldn’t do it in the common room. You would have to be damn near insane to try to pull that off without some one telling you to go get a room.
“That’s well…different.” He laughed softly though he still shuddered a bit at hearing it. He grinned broadly. He loved the way that she seemed to stumble over he words. He was so used to being around females who knew what they wanted and were far too fierce to thinking about stuttering even the tiniest bit. So to hear the ways that she spoke was actually rather refreshing to him. He liked it a lot actually. “No I knew what you meant. And I’m glad that you told me because I hate crowds.” He nodded his head.
He grinned broadly at her questions. He was getting rather used to people asking him a whole bunch of question. “I like the school quite a bit actually. I’m still learning where everything is but I’ve actually learned a lot about this place this year. It’s nice to get around.” He shrugged his shoulders up. He tilted his head at her. “Actually I’m from the states. There’s a small school there…but this is better.” He nodded his head. Even if he did miss the states he liked it here.

Piper giggled, "Well... that might just be in the Ravenclaw common room then." she said rolling her eyes with a smirk on her face, "Us Ravenclaw's seem to be... the experimental type." She said snorting at this. She probably sounded so stupid to Tristian.
"Ah... I haven't been anywhere crowded in a few months now, I'm not sure how I'd react to it... I think I've changed, i used to love crowded places, it made me feel... safe I think... I don't know." She mumbled shrugging feeling the blush return to her cheeks.
Piper listened intently as he answered her questions. She nodded as she listened "Yeah... this place is pretty cool I guess... oh wow, you're from the states! That's so cool! What's it like there? What's the school like there? How comes you moved?" She asked curiosity filling her eyes again, "Sorry... I'm being nosy right? I'm just curious..." She said rushing on, hoping that she wasn't prying too much.
