The small first year was sitting, Indian style infront of the forbidden corridor. That was all she was doing - sitting there, wondering about why it would be forbidden. Maybe the heads of school (well the ones who weren't dead) were hiding something down there. Like a strip club. That'd be hot. It looked kind of scary though, and rather dark. Absently, she ran a hand through her hair, remaining in a sitting position. Although she usually wasn't afraid of stuff, going down a 'Forbidden Corridor' seemed like a pretty dumbass thing to do, which made her second guess the decision that kept poking at her mind. Maybe nothing would happen, though. But maybe something would, like getting shot for stepping into it.
Making a loud 'pfft' sound, she stood up, crossing her arms across her chest. "I can so take this," She mumbled, gripping the wall and moving forward. Yeah, it would be safer to stay next to the wall... Wouldn't it? Without taking a moment to continue thinking about walking onward, she did just that. Walk. The corridor was annoyingly dark, though. Hadn't anybody considered installing lights in the place? Scrunching up her nose, she shrugged away her thoughts and continued forward, turning where ever the wall did.
After a while of walking, she stopped, looking around in the darkness. ... Damn. Rolling her eyes, she turned on the heel of her foot and plopped down onto the ground, tugging her wand out of her pocket. What was that lighting spell? "... Lumos?" She muttered, waving her wand slightly, expecting it to light up. Only it didn't work. "Damn you, lumos!" That time, a small light came onto her wand and faded away. Well, atleast she was getting somewhere. "Luuuumoos!" And bam, she had a flashlight. Only it was a wand. So she had a wandlight. Only she was too lazy to get up, so she just reached into her pocket and pulled out a jolly rancher. Yay.

((Do you mind?))
It was Remi's first weekend at Hogwart's castle. That meant no classes...and no homework. So what was a little firstie such as Remi to do? Pssh. Wander of course. She emerged from the Hufflepuff common room, ending up in the entrance hall. She didn't really like having her common room on the first floor, because it was such a long walk to get to her classes. However, there were a few pluses. First, she was closer to the Great Hall, that meant she got to eat first. Second, she was close to the main entrance, she could escape at any given moment.
Normally, Remi would venture out onto the grounds, because the castle was too dark and scary. If she got lost in the castle, she knew she would never be able to navigate her way through the corridors and back to safety. She had experienced that before, and it was safe to say that she learned her lesson. Or so she thought. For some odd reason, her little converse shoes led her up, up, up the grand staircase and onto the third floor. Why? She was in the mood for mischief. Her friends in older years had told her about "The Forbidden Corridor". Supposedly, it was a corridor...that was forbidden. Those were the rumors. Apparently, weekends put Remi into rebel mode. She had to investigate. As she rounded a corner, it was made pretty obvious that the hallway she was about to enter was indeed the forbidden corridor. After all, it had signs plastered all around that read, "FORBIDDEN". Honestly, that only attracted students. Didn't miss Arri know that?
She entered the pitch black passageway, a wave of nervousness falling upon her. She was reckless and stupid. Yepp. She discovered that there were steps descending downward. Not in the most graceful manner, but she didn't fall down!! Once she reached the bottom, her heart flew into her throat. There was a small hovering light a few yards away from her. It looked like it could be coming from a wand....but it still scared the poor first year. It could be a scary magical beast!!
"Ummm...Hello?" She called to the light.
