Ben let out a loud obnoxious belch as he chucked his half eaten buttered bagel into the trash bin. It had to have been his hundredth one since he started working on the spell damage ward, also known as the loony ward, and quite frankly, he was sick of them. He followed the same blasted routine day in and day out. Even the patients were becoming awfully dull and predictable, an occurrence which he thought he'd never live to see. Ben Scott needed a change, and fast. He was contemplating how to go about this change when he came across something rather burdensome.
"Lord, don't tell me school's out already. Every bloody child in the country will be waltzing in complaining about broken bones and bleeding hearts. May the man who thought summer holidays would be a good idea, burn in hell.." He stood in front of the young lady, eyes glaring down at her, "Ahem....how may I be of service to you, young lady?"

Ben shut his eyes and inhaled deeply through his nostrils, letting it out slowly as he counted backwards from ten. He thought about his happy place and how much he loved going there, how peaceful it was. He didn't have to worry about bills, running errands, or anything work related. It was his happy place and he was very very happy to be there. It took several moments, but he did manage to calm down and keep his temper under control.
"Hiccups, how...unusual.." he said flatly, as he examined her attire. Technically, it was not required of him to treat patients who were not admitted to his ward, but since she was standing right before him and the other healers had their hands full, there were no other options. "Well I suppose if you just take a seat right there.." he gestured toward the waiting area. "I could whip something up for you--oh, your hat.." he caught it just as it was rolling off her shoulder, and held it out for her to take. "A bit warm out for a hat don't you think?" Just then, something rather unusual caught his eye. "Do you have...are those...real?" he asked, pointing to her ears, mouth agape.

it locked like he wus meditating. Bambi tilted her head to the side and looked stranegly at the man. now she wus really really nervouse. She chewed down on her bottom lip trying to stop herself from making any noises but couldnt help the next hiccup that popped out of her mouth. "Oh *hic* ok---" her heart sunk when her hat fell to the ground. She quickely grabbed the hat back and pulled it over her head. "Oh uh *hic*" she gulped "y-y-*hic* yes" she nodded, her cheeks flushed red.
"s-so.. where was the waiting room again *hic*?" she asked, trying to change the topic quickely. well.. i guess that answers it she sighed 2 herself. ..even arund wizards im still a freakshow.
