As Alex bid farewell to her parents she couldn't help but feel glad, for almost her entire life her parents have been very strict. This was her first time leaving their house and staying there for a very long time, talk about luck :) She enters the 'Hogwarts Express' and finds an empty compartment. Alex sits down and wonders what her first day will be.

Morse sauntered into the first compartment he could find, regardless of if there were any passengers inside or not. It wasn't like he was a social butterfly or anything. Nah. It didn't really matter. The only thing he needed was the damn train to start moving already. Lately his mum decided it was time to give him miscellaneous 'teen talks'. Like the puberty talk or the birds and the bees. It probably wouldn't have bothered him as much if she hadn't gone into detail on the matter. And her persistence to make sure he understood. It wasn't rocket science or anything.
He eased into the seat near the window and released an exasperated sigh. He rolled his head to the side staring at the people at the platform. .. so damn slow. Hurry up. he thought furiously at the dumb moms crying and grasping their children. Something caught his eye in the crowd. Dear god. It was his mom mouthing 'IT's in your bag' and made motions. His face burned red and he turned away groaning. Were moms born with the purpose of humiliation? Or was this just their sick way of getting back at their kids for having to give birth.

'Great I can't find a stupid compartment' Andrew frowned and practically looked in every compartment just to find his sister. Walking past the compartment he could see the students inside laughing and talking just like a normal student would. Finally he peeks through a compartment and finds his sister zoning out and sitting across a guy probably older than them. "Hey" he greets the two. Not being friendly or anything just not being rude.

'Huh? Who is this guy?' she thinks as a guy looking older enters the compartment and sits down not caring whether there was someone inside. Alex stares at him and sees him stare at the students passing outside impatiently, she sees him glance out at the window and frown she sees a woman mouth something to him. "Your mom?" she asks him, hoping to start a conversation.

"..." Morse stared at the girl who was trying to engage him in a conversation. Still.. it was better than being out on the platform. ".. no" he dully replied. That wasn't his mom. Just an alien form currently residing in his former mothers body. .. yeah. Clearly there was something wrong with her. Mental illness, strange disease, etc. Heaving a heavy sigh he looked over at the guy who came in briefly then back at his watch. Luck rarely worked in his favor, so he never exactly counted on anything leaving early for his benefits. But there was no excuse this time. The train should have left two minutes and thirty seconds ago. What the hell were they still doing here. He avoided staring outside, so his only options were to stare at the people or the floor. .. splendid.

*sigh* Alex sighed as the guy replied dully. "Thank God" Alex muttered as she saw her brother come in. 'Here comes mister-i'll protect you whoever bothers you-guy'. It wasn't like she hated her brother or something, she's just not comfortable with him being so 'brotherly' to her but whatever-she just not comfortable with a stranger plus it was very quiet in the room all you could here was the students passing outside their compartment.
"Where have you been?" Alex asked his brother as he sat down "Mom's practically brawling 'cause she didn't get the chance to say goodbye to you" she frowns, remembering their mom brawling and making all people around stare at them weirdly.

Andrew sees her sister brighten up as he enters the compartment. He raises an eyebrow as the guy completely ignored him, he glanced at her sister giving her a 'what's with this guy?' look.
"Uhm yeah about that" he grins . He didn't really have an reasonable excuse for being absent for their farewell hugs and brawling and all that rubbish. "You know, I think you know the answer for that. You know how I hate it when we get all the strange looks" he frowns and notices that finally! the train was getting ready to leave.
