Well, it was Halloween whether Athradien liked it or not. It was either a time for him to be antisocial or not, and actually he had been quite antisocial lately and decided to break out of his shell for a night and be friendly. It occurred to him that the reason he had gotten where he was in Hogwarts was due to him interacting with other people, and folks, Athradien had been one party man back in first and second year. It was time to relive those memories before he grew up, which was in less than a year. Gasp! Haha so the seventh year didn't have a costume seeing as he hadn't been planning on attending, but chances are he'd see Sophia at the party and he would have to come in costume. He'd be ridiculed if he was just going to go dressed normally, and he'd be seen as a party pooper. Sooo...Athradien was sitting on his bed deciding what to be when a Beatles song came on his iPod. It clicked, he grabbed his outfit, and took off for the party. Except, he didn't know where the party was. He saw a line of people making their way into the Forbidden Forest, and Athradien's father used to say "When in doubt, follow the crowd." So off he went, sprinting in a black tuxedo and black pants. A white undershirt showed under his tuxedo, and a black tie was placed neatly over that. If you hadn't already guessed folks, or don't know what the face of good music is....Athradien was PAUL MCCARTNEY! It didn't take much preparation for Athradien, he already resembled him somewhat. Athradien caught up with the back of the pack somewhat out of breath and spotted signs pointing to go inside the forest, and Athradien was thrilled. To go in at night was a bonus, and Ath was an adrenaline junkie. So he followed a bunch of first years who were nervous out of their wits for what seemed like a mile or so until they reached a cemetery. The first years looked back at Athradien unsure of what to do, and then one screamed and pointed at a coffin. Well, Athradien felt the urge to laugh of course, but he knew it was his responsibility as an older student to show the way and set an example for them and he opened the coffin. See, it's not so baaaaddd... His voice trailed off as he was whisked away...to somewhere unknown.

Cassidy was a sucker for signs, and man, were there a lot of them. "Troylieee... I'm confused..." Cassidy whispered, as she read a sign that was at the edge of the forbidden forest. She had taken a long, perilous journey throughout the school, following signs. "Go this way!" and "Go left and then this, that, and there way!" had been all over the school, jogging Cassidy's brain. She had not done anything mentally stimulating in such a long time, and this certainly tested her capacity. She had gotten lost quite a few times, and even went around in circles, but hey... they were signs. They wouldn't lead her wrong, would they? But. now, Cassidy stood outside the forbidden forest, face to face with a specific sign telling her to trudge in there. Man, who knew what scary stuff there was. Ghosts, goblins, and bears, oh my! Cassidy wasn't prepared for that kind of stuff. She gulped and held Troylie tightly to her, as she slowly began to follow where the path beyond the sign took her. It was dark, darker than normal dark. It was... complete darkness... "Eeeep." Cassidy squeaked, as a bat flew by. She stepped lightly, trying not to make any sounds, or scrunch leaves or whatnot. Although her awkwardly huge flamingo feet were not helping... Alas, it was halloween, so Cassidy decided to dress up. And in honor of her flamingo, Pinky, she was dressed as one. As the path bended and curved, thigns began to pop out such as ghouls and beheaded zombies. Cassidy, of course, was not scared one bit. Well, she was, but she wasn't going to let them know that. She kept swallowing and closing her eyes, letting Troylie guide her through the woods. Egad, seeing-eye snake! Finally, they reached somewhat of a clearing, with a coffin. In a cematary. Cassidy was familiar with the movie Pet Sematary, so quite frankly she didn't want to spend too much time here. "Ah Troylie, I dunno what to do!" she yelped, grabbing the snake, and walking over to the coffin. She felt like an idiot, until she saw another sign. It said to open the coffin. Agh. "Okay.." she whispered, reaching a hand out to the coffin. But then, she like, got transported once her hand touched it. AaAaAaAaHhHhHh! xD

Yes it was Halloween again and Christina had dressed up as She was dressed up as Violet Beauregarde from the movie "Charlie and The Chocolate Factory" she even had a huge supple of bubblegum in her backpack. Her pet ferret Baxter was even dressed up he was a witch how cool is that. Christina was also scared so she followed her best friend at Hogwarts Sophia who was like a sister to her. She really loved Sophia she was so amazing and kind and generous one of the best friends a girl could have. She was also scared so she follow Sophia really close almost close enough to touch her hair. She wasn't sure what might be lurking around the next bend or corner. When she saw Sophia jump at something Christina almost screamed in terror herself, boy this forrest was creepy. Sophia was following some third year and Christina was hot on her tail, she had gotten her wand out too just in case. That spell she learned in charms to make you a giant would come in hand if anything jumped out at them in the forest. Christina was being extra brave hoping her Dad and Mom were watching from above and proud of her. They arrived at the cemetary, and she wondered what would be at the end of all this , a suprise party, candy , ghost and ghouls. She hoped it would be yummy candy and maybe even a party to dance with her friends at. She lifted the coffin door and started feeling a tingling then a shock yikes then she was transported but to where..... ........? Muwaahahaha

Post by Professor Serafina Butail on Jun 15, 2009 5:57:03 GMT -5
Serafina had seen the signs dotted around the school a while back (before the post she'd had written for her died along with my laptop) and figured that they must have something to do with whatever Halloween celebrations were going to be held at the castle this year. Seeing numerous other people, all dressed in every manner of costume imaginable, following the cryptic and strategically placed signs Serafina dressed herself up and decided that it was high time she too found her way to the party.
Her costume was highly unimaginative (and I can't find the picture anymore either so it's even more so) a little alteration on the classic vampire costume she'd worn for her previous divination lesson on necromancy. She'd altered the skirt a little, lost the cape and instead replaced it with a cane and a top hat. There, she looked like a vampiric circus ringmaster and it would do. She headed out from her rooms and wandered down the stairs following the signs she found along her way which led her, a little surpisingly, to the Forbidden Forest.
She could see a dimly lighted path that stretched between the trees twisting deeper and deeper into the forest. It was intriguing, were they having the halloween party in there? That would be different certainly but it could also be a little on the dangerous side...no there had to be something more to it than that. The sign was there tempting people in and Serafina followed one small cluster of people as they made their way excitedly into the forest.
Someone had gone to an awful lot of trouble setting up scary things for them to encounter on their way through the trees. The path was lined with numerous scenes of massacre, dead bodies and all manner of freaky scary things that sent the group of students before her into gasping and giggling fits, a heady mixture of terror and excitement. The effect to Sera was enjoyable, they certainly looked very real but her overly sensitive nose could pick up the sharp synthetic smell a mile off. Still it was fun to watch, amused at the terror it could instill in some of the others as they walked along the path.
When she suddenly reached the clearing that was a graveyard, one she had never seen before Sera did frown. The dug earth was certainly fresh and real and there was a coffin showing out of the ground. At that sight her heart did skip a beat (or it would have done if her heart did beat) there was a coffin? She wasn't afraid that some dead body was going to jump out at her as she saw many others lift the lid and then disapper inside of it. She did not want to get in a coffin, Sera was a claustraphobic vampire and coffins being one of the great cliche's she was rather keen to avoid them.
However, if she wanted to get to the party then it seemed that through that coffin lay the secret of where it was being held then she had little choice about the matter. A little tentatively Sera approached the coffin and with a sigh reached out and pulled the lid open. What was the worst thing that could happen?

AJ saw a bunch of students go to the forest that he tried to burn down for a bonfire. That was it. He saw Christina. He wasn't trying to stalk her or anything. He watched as students went to the coffin. They disappeared. He though he would move in for a better look. He went closer and closer to the coffin. He looked around to make sure this wasn't a prank. He went over to it and lifted the lid of the coffin. He disappeared to. He was unsure where he just went. It probably was some place cool.
