"Bleh," Anna said, sticking her tongue out and wrinkling her nose at the thought. "I've had enough owl poop for one lifetime, I think." She giggled and nodded her head. She nodded her head some more as she listened to him, pursing her lips as he mentioned yule ball dates. In all her excitement about getting a dress, she'd forgotten that she could bring a date too. Then again, it wasn't necessary so she wouldn't fret over it too much. "Like? Pfft, tolerate is more like it," she replied, rolling her eyes but letting out a giggle soon after. "Just kidding. You're cool, I guess. You didn't laugh at my fall so you get points for that."

"Try having dungbombs thrown at you. Like eight of them and they all hit you. The smell of that takes forever to get out. It took me two weeks to get over that awful odor." Jay laughed. He thought Anna was cool. She just didn't seem to like the boys much. Maybe that might change when she gets older. Maybe trust is the issue because some boys like to get inside. He laughed at what she said. "I give up." He smirked at her. "I hope they bring back quidditch this term. That would be quite good wouldn't?" He asked. He tried changing the subject

"Ick, dungbombs? Sounds like something my brother would do, it's a good thing he wouldn't be able to get his hands on any," Anna said, shaking her head. Maybe she'd get some dungbombs herself and throw them at him though, that'd show him. She giggled and rolled her eyes as he admitted defeat, a bit unsure what he was defeated about but relishing in the fact that she had unknowingly won something. "That would be neat, I wouldn't mind trying quidditch. Do you play?" she asked, wondering if she'd be any good at the game. She could fly alright, or at least that's what her Aunt used to tell her.

"Yeah they are nasty. It was by a younger Ravenclaw boy named Anthony." jay then laughed what she said about her brother. He was defated by her. It seemed that Quidditch sparked in her interest. "Yeah. I am a keeper. It is so much fun. I mean even if you are new at the game it is easy to catch on."

"Anthony.. I'll have to watch out for him," Anna mumbled, making a mental note of that. "Keeper, huh? They're like goalies, yea?" she asked, tilting her head to the side. She'd never been to a quidditch game or taken a flying class or anything, so she only knew the basic idea of how the game was played. Perhaps she'd read up on it later to prepare for the possibility of playing, or in the case of it being too complicated for her, at least she'd know what was going on while watching. She was glad to hear that it was easy to catch on to since she was near clueless about the game at this point.

"Yeah he is related to Elessar." Jay responded. "Well maybe I can show you how to play and stuff. Do you know how to fly?" He asked her with a smile. If not, he figured he could show her. There wasn't much to it really. He understood people with being afraid of heights. He used to be one of them. "Yeah it is a goalie. Gotta keep out the quaffles by the chasers. Hufflepuff is a hard house to beat. SLytherin had the most legends of any house to play the game. They had Arlian, Colle, Bonnie, and Skandar just to name a few. There were many more. They used to be really good but they died out a little."

"Elessar? Should I be watching out for him too?" Anna questioned, not having met the professor yet. "Mmhm, I know how to fly. Not sure why I wasn't taught about quidditch when I learned to fly but eh, what can you do." She grinned, shrugging her shoulders. She nodded as she listened him rattle off things about quidditch, smiling in thanks. "Sounds like it could be fun," she commented, thinking about maybe asking for a broom for Christmas if she was going to play. The school brooms couldn't be all that wonderful, and she would probably need all the help she could get.

"Nah. He has mellowed." Jay replied. "I can teach you how to play though. I may not be the best teacher but you can get the idea." He smiled at her. "It is a fun game. it is very addicting." He told her. His broom was in his closet at home. He rarely used it. It was even dusty. "How about tomorrow I will show you how to play? I can't fit in my old gear because I'm taller and much bigger."

"Alright then, that's good I suppose," Anna said, shrugging her shoulders. "Yea, that'd be cool. Learning how to play would probably be a good idea before I tried playing.." She grinned. "Tomorrow is good for me! Do I need anything?" she asked, completely willing to make a trip to Hogsmeade or Diagon Alley or something. She was always looking for an excuse to go shopping. She had no idea what kind of gear one might need to play quidditch though, other than the obvious broom.

"Well just bring a broom. We don't need too much equipment right now. Just to get the handle on the game is good enough." Jay replied with a smile. He liked how Anna was out-going and was willing to try things. He had a lot of friends who were just trying to play it safe. He liked the ones a lot who liked to get their hands dirty.

"Mmkay, I can handle that," Anna said, nodding her head and proceeding to clap her hands in excitement. She hadn't flown in a while, what with having to go to classes and all lately and being at home all summer. Gosh, she hoped she could still do it. Was flying like riding a bike? Was it something you never forgot? Maybe she'd go out a little earlier so she could practice without looking lik a total dork in front of anyone.
