BOO! thats what David has been hearing lately, as for its Octuber, and Halloween is near! It was one of hes favorite holidays. The reason being was that it allowed everyone to be someone or something else for a day....plus all the added sweets to it. It was just something kids enjoyed to do. David was out and around the school grounds, it was a bit cold outside, but it wasnt much of a big deal. But he knew winter would be near, and so will hes birthday...in November that is!
As for it was almost time for Halloween, what kind of scariness will be off around the school. The only thing that came to mind was the Whomping Willow. He had never actually seen the tree, just heard about how kids fear if it or how some of those brave enough to walk up to it and try to get themselfs killed or hurt from it. It seem like after a year of hearing storys about this tree, David thought it would be a great idea to finally see the tree for once.
Seens it was hes first time going to the tree, he had no idea where it was at. So he just walked around looking for it. After about five minutes or soon, he finally found its location. He stound about 50 feet away from where it stoud, and from hes point of few it looked like any old tree, that was intill he saw kids close by it trying to get close it. He watched as the tree began to move on its own and throwing its branches at the kids. It had hit one boy and knocked him off hes feet.
The boy landed flat on hes back and hes friend came after him to help him. He watch as they ran away from the tree and pasted him. David just smirked from what he had just seen. After the boys had left he turn hes attention back to the tree. He stoud there a bit before slowly walking towards the tree.

"I wouldn't venture anywhere closer, if I were you!" Sophia shouted after David, having not even seen the kid around the grounds or in classes before. She obviously knew he was a student here, and he looked to be a Gryffindor. You know, every person just kinda gives off that weird aura in which you can tell what house they are in. "Trust me, I've been near it too many times! BACK UP!" She yelped loudly, really wanting to prevent herself from having to go to the hospital wing levitating a second year.
"Second year right? Gryffindor?" She asked after she had run up to the boy, ruffling her jeans and yellow t-shirt as she did so. "Nice to meet ya. I'm Sophia Davis, seventh year Hufflepuff." Her smile widened slightly as she looked to the boy. It appeared as though he was nice, he just had trouble keeping away from too much danger. Sophia was proud to be able to tell students around the grounds and school that she was a seventh year. It was like higher status or something, it was awesomeee.

David stopped at hes tracks when he heard a voice from behind him. He turned around and saw an older girl was speaking to him. He smirked, "Im not that close!" he said to her. Hes eyes then widen when he heard that she got hes house and year right, "You read minds or something?" David asked her. And then he heard her introduce herself. So he did the same in return, "Nice to meet you Sophia, Im David." he said, "David landen!" He added.

"AAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH EVVVIIIIIIIIILL TRRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEE!!!!!"
Maricela had accidentally walked straight into the whomping willows grasp. That tree was out to get her. It was always scheming of ways to get her near so it could snatch her up and throw her into the lake. It was an evil mastermind. It knew that she would soon become bored and try to walk around the grounds in a blind fold. It planned the whole thing. It probably had a computer chip installed in her brain and gave her all these ridiculous ideas. IT WAS A SPY!!!! Her father was a very important person, it was probably planning on kidnapping her and asking her father for a ransom. YES! That was it. She ripped off her blindfold and ran as fast as she could away from the demented tree. "I know what you are up to." She continued running until she collapsed infront of and older hufflepuff. "I'm alive," she gasped.

Just out no where, David heard a scream. He turn to see it was a girl that was under the tree. He was about to go help her when he saw that she had found herself out of the harm from the tree. Then she saw her run up to him and Sophia and fall to the ground, "Here, let me help you!" He said to the girl and helped her up, "Are you alright?" He asked her.

A small smile came to Sophia's lips when he asked if she read minds. "No, I just know a lot of people. I think I've passed some second year classes with you in them. Or something. Or maybe I saw you sorted at the beginning of my sixth year? I don't know, I lose track of how I remember what years and houses kids are in. I've probably seen you around school in Gryffindor robes." She confirmed with a nod of her head before she heard the same scream that David did. "What the heck was-"
Sophia hadn't even needed to finish her sentence, the girl was hobbling over and fell in front of Sophia's feet. "Hey, sweetie are you okay?" Sophia asked as David rushed over and helped her up. "Really, you alright? See, David, I told you that tree would get ya!" Sophia had remembered her previous second and third year encounters with it and shuddered. Gah, she'd seen so many birds die to the wrath of that stupid tree.

"Are you making some sort of shot at other houses? Just because I'm a Hufflepuff means I can't handle myself against the willow? Because in my many years here, I've learned how to immobilize it, and my swift animagus movements can help me with it. Though my friend Riley does it better because her animagus is smaller." Sophia shrugged then looked at Maricela. She sure hoped she was okay, because she didn't seem to be saying much.
"And I know the path to the shrieking shack." She almost bragged, wishing to show them. Of course, she wouldn't show them unless they absolutely wanted to know.

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH......... SPIESSSSSSS!!!!!!" she gasped finally.
She wasn't hurt, she was just a bit winded. She was no athlete, she got winded walking up stairs. That tree was in cahoots with with evil people, like death eaters or circus people or something. But anyway she was safe now, no one was threatening her now. There were two nice looking students. One older and one probably the same age. "I'm okay, I'm fine." She stood up slowly amd dusted herself off.

Sophia cringed a little, waiting on Maricela's response. "Well, it's good that you are alright." She nodded, a small smile moving to her lips almost immediately. "We should go have a seat in case you hurt your head, neck, or back or something. You'll be feeling that one tomorrow." She confirmed, knowing that back in third year when she'd been thrown by the Whomping Willow, she felt that after effects for days.
