Chiaki knew exactly what she wanted to do with the bottle of felix felicis. No it did not involve Sera and Lara, though those were the two usual people she usually called out to. She was going to try her luck on Aaron. To do what exactly? She didn't know yet. But she had seen Aaron around and she just couldn't forget all the boring talks he gave. Maybe she could coax Aaron to not be so a pessimist.
And the roof.. well it was high high up, it made Chiaki feel like she was on top of the world. If she wasn't lucky.. well it made her feel lucky at least. And she had sent Aaron an owl, hopefully he would receive it. She had not yet drank her felix felicis, so it wasn't guaranteed that she would be lucky.

He wondered why he answered these requests -- meetings in the Three Broomsticks, in classrooms, on the roof of Hogwarts; he didn't like these people. He didn't want to get involved in their lives, because frankly, he didn't care if they were well or not. Yet, every time he got a call, he answered it, and it was only with a little regret. His sanity came into question every time the man thought about it, but it was much easier simply to brush it off rather than address it. What was really the point in lingering on a topic that you can't answer that easily and with which would probably drive you mad trying to figure out?
Aaron Lathen ascended the stairs to the rooftop of Hogwarts, quick and careful steps that showed he wanted to get this over with, but he didn't want to break his neck in the process. His midnight cloak swished behind him, though it wasn't wild or really that noticeable. He adjusted the dragon hide gauntlets secured around his arms as he made it closer to his destination, and without a moment's hesitation, he moved onto the surface, turning around to get a good look at everything. As per request, he was meeting Chiaki Shimizu here, and one could wonder why she would ask this man, of all people, to meet her here. Then again, he was sure she had more than some random Cassidy Daniels motive, and he crossed his arms over his chest before proceeding to snicker at the girl.
"What do you want, Miss Shimizu?" he asked his former student, his face unemotional and his sharp coal eyes prying.

So Aaron did turn up huh. Was it a stroke of luck.. or did Aaron always turn up for every meeting, no matter how cold blooded he pretended to be? Oh yes Chiaki remembered way back when she was in his class with Cassidy, she had probed Aaron, like asking him not to pretend and she also remembered an event when Tallie painted his house a bright color. Why did Aaron have to act that way? If luck was on her side.. well duh it should be with her felix felicis, she would get all the answers out of him. Pity really, Aaron was very interesting and good looking.. only if he stopped all his pretense which were lame.
A snicker and then an unemotional face? They weren't the rightest combination in the world. Somehow, this just made Chiaki more determined to get an answer. When should she drink the potion though? If she did not act quick, she might be slaughtered by Aaron right up here on the roof where there was no one to witness. He might well be a death eater. Chiaki shuddered and quickly swallowed the full vial of potion into her mouth. She only had 15 minutes.. she had to be quick.
"I want answers." She said in a demanding manner. "Why are you here? Why did you even bother to appear? Why do you have to pretend to be cold blooded when you're quite charming?" There. All questions dumped out. "Why do you have such a boring tone?" Chiaki looked at him, anticipating answers, which should come, had the potion worked properly.

Silly Aaron failed to recognize the symptoms of Felix Felicis -- he suddenly felt very light, as if he could float off the roof, but it wasn't the same effect as you would get with actually drinking the potion. He noticed Chiaki swallow the contents of a vial, but he showed no interest in wanting to know for what reason she was drinking it or even what it was. He honestly should keep up with his potions... And, suddenly, this girl had taken to demanding things from him. The audacity, the nerve! And had this been any other situation, he would have snapped at her without delay.
Yet her suddenly felt very tired. Aaron usually wanted to be left alone, but right now, he really didn't care what she asked. He looked the girl over, though he could not bring himself to be angry. What was happening? "I choose to because it's much easier that way," he answered calmly. Well, she had swallowed Felix, but no one gave him Veritaserum, right? She wanted answers, but she was going to get vague ones; no one said he had to answer them right-on. "Please hurry up, Miss Chimizu, I need to get off this forsaken rooftop."

Chiaki had never experienced felix felicis, so she wasn't sure whether the result was what the potion was supposed to bring. And she wondered why she had happy it in front of Aaron. That sure was a funny move she had made. Did the potion make the drinker feel muddled? Did Lara somehow mixed another potion up with the felix? It sure was more of a day of disaster than of luck!
"Much easier?" Chiaki had no idea what that meant, nor was she interested in finding out. She didn't know how people could find it easier to be evil.. unless it was in their blood. Maybe it was time she found out more about his background, but something caught her off guard. Miss Chimizu? When did she become Chimizu? As far as she remembered, Aaron had no problem pronouncing her name. What was this Chimizu? Chiaki plus Shimizu? Eww this combination was just bad.
"Why did you call me Chimizu? And were you from Slytherin?" She took a glance at her watch. She still had about 10 minutes. Aaron better not waste her time. Theoretically he shouldn't, but Chiaki did not know what was becoming of her luck.

(Chimizu was my bad... Sorry. Guess I'll have to roll with it. xD) What was Chiaki's goal in this random inquiry? Did she think she could just fire questions at him and get a dutiful, honest answer? Aaron wasn't in the arguing mood, though, and really, he didn't feel at all like himself. Had someone drugged him? Was he bewitched? And why was he so weak, all of a sudden? It wasn't the type of weakness that came with excessive exercise or anything of the sort, but he did feel somewhat tired. He wouldn't mind turning in for the night, lucky for her... "It probably slipped my tongue because I don't want to deal with you," he snapped, "and it's easier to just combine your names." Aaron wasn't sure why he had called her "Chimizu"; in fact, he didn't even remember doing so. "And am I from Slytherin? That's like asking a cold-blooded killer if they've murdered anyone before! Of course I'm from Slytherin, where else would I be from?" He snickered at her, rubbing his eyes for a moment. "Why am I here, Miss Shimizu? Is there something at least minutely important that I should know of?"

//guessed that much but it gave me a plot Chiaki observed Aaron closely. Somehow, she had the feeling that the potion had not worked the way it was supposed to. Aaron looked odd. Not the hyped way she imagined someone would be if the felix felicis was under effect. Aaron looked a little old. Chiaki frowned. She tried to think how old Aaron would be. Couldn't be that old could he? She couldn't remember if Aaron had been a student anytime she was a student in Hogwarts too. "Slipped your tongue?" Chiaki snickered. It sounded funny to her. But laughing wouldn't achieve the kinda evil effect she wanted. And just as everything at this moment, it came effortless for her. "You're here because I'm doing my potions homework." Chiaki said sweetly. She wasn't sure what reaction Aaron would have. Run away? Probably not, he was binded by her felix spell. "How old are you?" They were all random questions but whatever, Aaron wasn't smart to realize that much.

(Evil, evil girl you. ) Aaron ignored the observing looks Chiaki was giving him, though he wondered why she was frowning. She was the one who had "invited" him to come here, and she was hammering him with questions, yet she was frowning? He let out an annoyed, frustrated sigh, but he didn't flee. This was so unlike him... "Your potions homework? What, Lara Desser is having her students 'interview' a professor? Hell, I wouldn't doubt she asked you to annoy me personally." He snickered at this, rolling his eyes for good measure. "Evidently, nothing I ever taught her will seep in. Whatever -- I'm not some personal guinea pig. I didn't spend thirty-five years of my life to -- what does it matter how old I am, huh?" Aaron massaged his temples, closing his eyes and, as he had been since he arrived on the rooftop, wondering what exactly this was accomplishing.

//not as evil as Aaron xD
Chiaki grimaced at Aaron. He sighed just too loudly for her liking. And shouldn't everything go according to her liking now? Speaking of that, Chiaki looked at her watch. Her fifteen minutes was nearly up. Ah well, she had dug out quite a substantial amount of info from Aaron, so maybe this interview didn't go too badly.
"Well Lara didn't ask me to do that." Chiaki defended her friend, though it's been some time since they had been together. "I made the decision to use my potion on you." She said quite smugly. Hm shouldn't Aaron be proud that someone wanted to interview him, to say the least? "And I don't think anything you taught anyone will ever seep in." She pulled a face, recalling all the lessons taught by Aaron. Apparently, she remembered nothing. Not surprising, considering his boring tone and lectures.
"Thirty five years old?" Chiaki couldn't keep the surprise out of her voice. He certainly didn't look that young. He looked like he might be a grandpa now. Or maybe he was. Anyway her fifteen minutes was up by now. So what would she do now? Continue to provoke Aaron? Most probably wouldn't work though.
