Christina decided she wanted to make the 'Girls Bathroom' more festive and in the holiday spirit. She went into the 'Girls Bathroom' taking her craft kit with her and started to decorate. She put up wreaths made of construction paper up on every stall door, repleaced all the soap bars with 'Irish Spring' soap bars, cause they are like green you know and its Christmas time. She put a big plat of chocolate chip cookies out and a pitcher of nice ice cold milk for all to enjoy. She put red dye in the soap dispensers cause she thought it would go good with the green soap bars as red and green being a Christmas time color mix. She put replaced all the toilet seat covers, towels and shower caps with Christmas themed ones. Using construction paper she made a Santa and his sleigh poster which she attached to the door going into the 'Girls Bathroom'. She even got a 'House Elf' to put up some of those flying magic candles in the air above the sinks and to put up a small Christmas tree in the one corner of the 'Girls Bathroom'. She strung Christmas lights around all the stalls and around the mirrors as well. When she was done she stepped back admiring her holiday spirit and was very pleased with herself.

Lexi had passed by the girls bathroom on the second floor on her way up to the Ravnclaw tower on evening after dinner. There were numerous different ways that a person could get up there and the one she had taken today just so happened too take her across the second floor. Lexi didn't often use this bathroom, the one in the Ravenclaw tower usually being far more convenient, unless it was the middle of the day during her classes of course, but especially at this time of day. However a glance down at her watch told her that dinner would just be ending and the common room often got very busy and crowded at that time of the day the last thing she wanted to do was be waiting around to use the bathroom when she had homework to be getting on with.
Yes it was the Christmas holidays and Lexi was still working, as the studious Ravenclaw she was she wanted to get all of her homework done before Christmas actually began leaving her enough time to really enjoy the holiday period and the Yule Ball and things. So on that impulse Lexi figured she would nip into the bathroom as she passed and save her time later on.
When she opened the door she was hit suddenly with a glow of candle light and the twinkling of colours, decorations and even a christmas tree in one corner. Wow someone had certainly gone to a lot of trouble to make this room look festive. Lexi was slightly taken aback for a moment and looked around until she spotted Christina admiring the decorations also.
"Did you do all this?" Lexi asked, the idea suddenly occuring to her that the Hufflepuff may have. "It looks really good, very festive." She nodded. "I know you, you're in some of my classes, sorry I'm really bad with names though." Lexi admitted, her bright blue eyes twinkling in the candlelight. At least she remembered she had seen the girl before, that was something.

Christina saw her friend Lexi enter the 'Girls Bathroom' as she was finishing up on the decorations.
"Hey Lexi my friend and yeah I did sept a 'House Elf' helped with the carrying the tree in and all." "I really love to spread Holiday Spirit and spirit in general its just in my nature." "I'm probably in all your classes now as i'm taking the full 11 classes offered to first year students minus animag that i'm not qualified to take yet." "So how you doing so far its busy time of year Christmas and all." She said with a bright big smile for her friend.

Christina, that was it! Finally it came to her in a brainwave, Lexi's memory was terrible and names really were the worst but since she knew the girl it was obvious that it should come back to her eventually.
"Wow it looks really good, yeah I love Christmas too especially here it was such great fun last year." Lexi grinned at Christina and then looked around appreciatively at the decorations again. "I'm doing okay thanks, just want to get all my homework and stuff done before the holidays start so I can enjoy them properly, was where I was going to go actually but talking to you is actually more appealing. Can't wait for the Yule Ball though, can you?"
"Really? all 11 classes?" Lexi shook her head, "You must be mad I could never cope with all of that work, sure you weren't supposed to be a Ravenclaw?"

Christina smiled as she listened to her friend Lexi.
"Thanks, the Yule Ball Should be fun yeah I can't wait." "I"m going with my new boyfriend Sirius i'm sure you met him he's a first year Hufflepuff son of Troy Novus." "Do you have any guy taking you to the Yule Ball?" "Na Hufflepuff for me!"
She said smiling at her good friend Lexi

Lexi frowned slightly as she tried to place a face to the name of Christina's new boyfriend, a new one already? But then the girl was only young at that age they either chopped and changed as frequently as the weather or showed very little interest at all. Lexi at twelve was still verging on the side of little to no interest in having a boyfriend. I may be nice in a year or so but right at that moment she was more interested in making new friends and seeing what developed from them.
"Ahh yeah I know who you mean," She nodded, when Christina had said it was one of the Novus triplets she knew instantly who she meant.
"Umm yeah I'm going with Alex Manson, he's a new Ravenclaw thrid year. Think i'm taking him more than he's taking me. He doesn't know anybody really and was worried about going to the Yule Ball by himself so I asked him to go with me, can show him around and stuff." Lexi shrugged, she wasn't sure if it could really be considered a date or anything but she was looking foward to it whatever it may be.

Christina listened to her friend Lexi and she replied to her questions. Lexi said she knew who Christina meant when she explained that her boyfriend Sirius is on of the Novus Tripliets. She mentioned she is going to the Yule Ball with a Alex Manson a third year Ravenclaw.
"Wow thats cool, thats very kind of you to offer that and to show him around and stuff." "I don't think i've had the chance to meet Alex before, since he's new but i'm sure I will. She said as she gave her a nice big smile.

Lexi nodded, "Yeah he seemed really nice, if a little bit shy so I figured I'd offer. Besides it's nice to actually have a plan for the Yule Ball rather than just going and spending the whole night searching for people to socialise with." She said with a grin remembering the ball last year. Though it had been fun she didn't think she'd actually gotten around to much dancing or anything like that.
"But I'll see you there though," She grinned, it as also nice to know in advance who else was definately going to be there, "You got your dress yet?"

Christina nooded,
"Yeah going alone can be hard."
She said smiling and listened as Lexi said thought that she would see her there and then asked if she had a dress yet.
"No unfortenately i'm a procastanator and having gone to get one yet, do you know any good places to shop, have you picked yours out yet?" "I"m trying to get some girls together to do a last minute shopping for a dress run , figuring to go to the city of London where all the good stores are."
She said informing her friend of her plans.

Lexi as almost shocked when Christina said she hadn't got her dress for the ball yet, wasn't that like the most important part of it? Forget the date if you didn't have the perfect dress you had nothing.
"Yeah I got mine back in the summer when my dad took me to London shopping. We don't get to go often as it's so far to go from Scotland and he's a muggle and everything so we go by car. That's why he brought it for me then..." Lexi shrugged and tailed off a little, "I just hope it still fits me now, I really should try it on an make sure." A frown crossed her brow as she thought of the worst case senario that come the night of the ball and her dress wouldn't fit at all.
"Oh going to London dress shopping, that sounds like fun, not to mention a good idea. I've got mine already but I could always do with some shoes to go with," She added with a grin, "If you don't mind me coming along too?"

Lexi seemed to be shocked when she told her she hadn't gotten her dress yet. Well Christina had a bad habbit of putting things off that she was nervous about or scared about. Getting a dress for the Yule Ball was one of those things. Would it be fashionable, would the other girls think it was good , would her date like it, or would she get laughed at , would it be the wrong color or look bad on her once she was there. All these and many more questions assaulted her mind each time she thought about getting the dress and it just raised her anxiety level.
"I just get really worried when it comes to picking out a dress. I get panic attacks and anxious and it being just right and perfect. I would just be mortified if I got a dress and was laughed at by other students." "So thats why I seem to have a habit of putting it off all the time." "Well you could always bring your dress with you when I go to London." "When I am trying on dresses you could try it on and see if it still fits and if not you could have a store owner adjust it for you." "Yeah I would love if you came along I'm thinking of asking the new Hufflpuff girl Adelaide, who I become good friends with recently to join us as well." She said giving her friend a kind and nice smile.

"That sounds like a good idea." Lexi agreed as Christina suggested that Lexi take her dress with them to London so she could check that it still fitted and stuff, plus she'd be able to tell if the shoes and stuff went with it okay or not.
"Ahh you shouldn't worry so much, as long as you like it who cares what the other people think, what you like should be most important right? Well as long as it is not some weird and hideously ugly looking thing, but you wouldn't ever choose something like that..."
"But you don't need to worry so much if you're taking friends to buy it with you, they're the best kind of advice in this sort of situation." Lexi nodded, she was quite excited about the idea of a shopping trip it would be rather fun.
"ooh I don't think I've really met Adelaide yet, but yeah definately the more the merrier kind of thing." She grinned, "We'll find you the perfect dress just you wait and see."

Christina nodded as she listened to her friend Lexi who said it sounded like a good idea and that she shouldn't worry so much and as long as she liked it that was all that really mattered. She listened as Lexi said since she is talking friends with her thats all that she needed as they are the best kind of advice you could have. Lexi said she hadn't really ever met Adelaide but that she thought the more the merrier.
"Adelaide is a cool first year student like myself of the same house I am in House Hufflepuff." "Yeah I"m sure will find the perfect dress, it must be perfect though, I would hate to look silly."
She said with a smile as she looked into Lexi's eyes while she talked to show respect for her friend.

Lexi nodded, "Yeah I think I know who you mean, from a class or two and stuff but like so many people round here don't think I've actually ever talked to her." Lexi shrugged, she had plenty of time to meet all these people after all she was only a second year.
"Yeah we'll find you one and won't leave London until we do, I'm sure there will be no complaints as, I mean, who doesn't like going shopping." Lexi grinned, it was like a teenage girls dream wasn't it (or almost Lexi's thirteenth wasn't until march) to be free to go raid the fanciest shops in London with your friends. It sounded like a plan and a very good one at that.
