Christina knocked on the door as the sign had said and all of a sudden behind her and Lexi a wall went up trapping them. Then the window in the door opened and a pair of eyes looked out at them.
"Only one may pass, that is the rule." "Make your choice carefully , for the one left behind dies instantly when the other person is through the door." "Pets don't count toward the choice they go freely through the door with the person who is chosen to live."
Said a scary sounding voice and the window was slammed shut.
"What are we going to do now Lexi?" "You go I will die, I already lost my parents and I'm an orphan you go safe yourself."
She said as she sounded scared and was trying to be brave. She was scared of dying but she was a loyal friend and would sacrifice herself for a friend so they could live.

Lexi jumped and let out a yelp of fright as the wall rose up behind them effectively trapping the pair in this tiny little stretch of corridor. Trembling Lexi turned quickly around but sure enough there was no way out. As she turned back to the door she began to feel a little sick as she met a pair of eyes that looked at them from through the small slit in the door.
Words sounded, they seemed not to come from the person behind the door but from some omnipresent voice that surrounded them. It was perfectly terrifying on its own but the words it spoke were even more so. No it couldn't really be asking them that could it? This was a school things like this couldn't happen? Well maybe now you know why it's called the Forbidden corridor!
Lexi only half heard what Christina had said, it took her a few moments for her friends words to sink in and Lexi looked positively horrified at the idea.
"But...what? No I can't do that, Christina that's no reason to sacrifice yourself." She said, outraged. Squashing down that small voice inside of her that wanted to save herself no matter what, call it survival instinct or whatever it felt horrible to Lexi. "I don't...I don't think I can just leave you behind like this, it's not fair I...."
Lexi trailed off, the look in Christina's eye seemed to tell her more than words could. It was a horrible thought and made Lexi feel sick to have to agree with it but she knew that no amount of convincing would change Christina's mind. "o-okay I'll go, I really really don't want to do this Christina..." She said with a shake of her head as she turned back to the door, unable to meet her friends eye. "Let's just ge this over with."

Christina was so scared what were they going to do, how would they get out of this situation. Well she had already offered to sacrifice herself so her friend could live though she was scared of dying. She listened to her friend trying to argue her out of sacrificing herself but she gave her friend a glare that said stop you won't change my mind in this matter.
"I"m sorry but it's for the best that at least one of us gets to live."
She said with tears running down her eyes. Then it came to her an idea a plan so both of them could get through the door. She got out her notebook as she put her finger up to her mouth to show Lexi to be silent. She started writing down a message quickly and showed Lexi the first message.
I Got An Idea But Don't Talk Less The Voice or Eyes Can Hear Us!
She said holding up the first note to Lexi, then she wrote out the next note.
In Charms for Christmas I got a gift from my teacher Emma Taylor. It's a charmed bracelet that when worn the wearer shrinks down to the size of six inches tall. This will work I know it heres my plan. I'm going to put on the bracelet as I have it in my backpack after you read this message. The voice said that pets don't count and can go through freely so we don't have to worry about that. When I'm shrank and 6 inches tall you are to pick me up very gentle like and place me in your pocket. I think this will work as it won't know that i'm only 6 inches tall and hiding in your pocket. It will just see only you yourself passing through the door to the other side. So don't knock this time we don't need it opening the window and seeing i'm gone. Just try to open the door i'm thinking its not locked as its ready for the choice
She showed Lexie the next note and then reached into her backpack and got out the charmed bracelet and put it on. At first nothing happened then she started to fill dizzy and she blacked out. When she woke up on the floor a second later she was only six inches tall about as tall as a pop can. She looked up and saw her best friend Lexi towering giant like above her and she waved to her to get her attention showing her she was ready for the next part of her plan.

Lexi had her back turned to Christina, for those few moments she was actually daring to believe that her friend was going to make her go through that door and leave the poor girl there to die. She honestly felt sick and couldn't stand the thought of looking at Christina as she considered what she was going to have to do.
Just about to turn back and demand that she change her mind Lexi felt something be slipped into her hand, it felt like a slip of parchment and puzzled Lexi looked back at her friend. Seeing the knowing look in the hufflepuffs eye Lexi opened the parchment and began to read, her heart racing and a far lighter feeling of ease settling over her. While the situation was still terrifying Lexi felt far more comfotable now knowing that she wouldn't be leaving Christina there to die.
She knew not to say anything and so merely waited, making a show of gathering Christina's pets as she would have to take them through the door. Once she'd seen that her friend had put on her bracelet and shrunk down to such a tiny size. As discreetly as possibly Lexi gently scooped her up and dropped her into the pocket on her robes. Making sure she seemed comfortable and that she wasn't being suffocated by material Lexi turned back to the door and, taking a deep breath she walked forwards and pushed open the door.
It gave under her forve and she breathed a sigh of relief, she shoved it fully open and hurried through, slamming it once again behind her. She leaned her back against the door, suddnely realising that the source of those eyes and voice were nowhere to be found, that was disconcerting to say the least, but first of all Lexi went to get Christina out of her pocket.
She set her down gently on the floor. "I think it worked," She whispered, looking around at the cavernous like room they had wandered into. "But I don't know where that voice was coming from, there's nothing else in here but you and me...well as far as I can tell."

Christina was glad when she realized that her friend Lexi seemed to understand her plan and approve of it. She saw Lexi gather her pets as she got her bracelet out and put it on. She shrank down to three inches tall and looked up at her tall and giantess looking friend Lexi waving to her as planned.
Lexi saw her and the next thing that happened is something she will never forget. It was weird and a little scary but she trusted her friend Lexi as her giantess hand came down to pick her up. Lexi's hand was huge it was so huge that Christina could of easily slept on it. Everything suddenly went dark as she was placed in Lexi's robe pocket, her friend was nice enough to make sure she was comfortable before trying the door.
The door opened and Christina felt they were moving though she couldn't see anything at all. The next thing she knew Lexi was removing her from her pocket and placing her back on the ground. She removed the charmed bracelet and instantly started to grow back to normal size as she let out a sigh.
"We made it through, I knew I could trust you and that you would understand my plan." "I'm really glad Emma gave me this a gift for Christmas in Charms class without it I don't know what we would of done." She said smiling with a face that showed a look of great relief. "Well where should we go now would you like to lead on this time?" she asked her friend trying her best to be brave so they could continue on.
((as I said you can if you like choose where we go next and make an encounter or test or you know scene up if you wish , its up to you but its your turn now as I promised earlier or you could just lead us to the exit your choice))

"yeah and I'm really glad you had one too, for a minute there I really did think you were going to make me leave you there to...well you know. It was horrible." Lexi said in a relieved tone of voice thoroughly glad that they had both made it past that first obstacle in tact.
"So now we just have to get out of here." Lexi said looking around the vast room they had wandered into. "I never would have guessed somewhere so big was down here." She said in a slight tone of awe, but she didn't like the way that her voice didn't echo in the cavernous room. "Something tells me that this isn't just a big empty room though."
With that Lexi took a few steps forwards and was greeted instantly but a sudden slipping feeling beneath her feet. With a yelp Lexi suddenly jumped backwards only to see a vast hole opening up where her feet had moments ago been place. The hole spread wide and long until the entire way across the floor in front of them was a huge gaping hole.
"Right....um so this is different..." She muttered looking back to Christina.
((Blah sorry for the late reply and crappy post I've been sick and very uninspired lately))

Christina listened as her great friend Lexi said how she was really of her plan. She smiled at Lexi with an attempt to give her friend an reassuring smile. Her friend said how she thought that this room they were in now was not simply a big empty room. "Yeah you might be right about that come on Rex....good boy." she said calling her puppy puggle to follow them as the tried to continue on. She watched as vast hole started to open in front of her and Lexi as Rex barked and started to tug on Lexie's pant legs pulling her back so she wouldn't fall in. "oh how cute look my puppy Rex cares about you." she said with a cute smile. "What should we do now any ideas i'm stumped?" she asked her friend Lexi. Christina was feeling quite nervous she had no idea what they would do hopefully her friend might figure out something.
((Its ok I know how that can be))

Carefully Lexi inched a little closer to the edge of the hole and peered down. It looked very deep, she couldn't see the bottom it merely faded into blackness a littleways down and there was nowhere of knowing just what may lay down there, well apart from almost certain death of course.
"I don't know." Lexi muttered turning back to Christina there really seemed to be no way across, "And there's no other door out of here apart from that one over there?" She asked pointing to out beyond the hole. She took the lookon Christina's face to be a no, which she confirmed herself as she cast her bright blue eyes around behind them, even the door they had come in through had disappeared.
Lexi was just about to to mutter something along the lines of looks like were stuck when something fluttered through the air and tapped her on the side of the head. Looking up Lexi noted the fluttering piece of parchment that was rather singed around the edges and plucked it out of the air. Unfolding it she looked down over the carefully scripted writing and after reading it through once read it again outloud so that her friend may hear it too.
"You seem to have yourselves stuck between a rock and a hard place... Pride comes before a fall girls so remember to look before you leap... Wow it really likes its old sayings doesn't it, but do you have any clue as to what it might mean?"
