Peeking around a tree, Brian shook slightly and squinted his eyes. It had been so long. He couldn't help it. He had tried. This was one of the few behavioral problems that could not be solved with simple therapy. He had not fed in over 6 months and his skin was beginning to turn pale. He did not want it to come to this, but he was craving blood and it was all he could to hold off for 5 more minutes. He began to swallow but the lack of anything to swallow made his throat turn dry. "Why me?..." he asked to no one in particular. He sat on his butt and stared around the forest. There was nothing alive in site, and even if there had been he did not want it. He needed it, but he did not want it.
After a few seconds he stood up and began to walk along the path, definitely not the usual spot you would find a vampire roaming around. After a few minutes, he spotted something gleaming about 20 meters away. After a quick glance around to make sure no one was looking he approached the object and a smile slid across his face. "A bucket of blood?" he asked, wondering who would leave something so strange in the forest. Perhaps someone just wanted to help the conscience of the vampires that wandered through here. With one more quick glance around, Brian dipped his hands into the bucket and sipped the liquid slowly. As soon as the blood touched his lips he felt defiled and wanted no more.

"AHHH MY KOOLAID!" yelled a harsh, yet familiar voice from a tree nearby. I shadowed figure jumped out and swiped the man to be pinned against a tree. Being sure she kept her hand over his mouth to prevent any access noise, the woman stood silent looking paranoid over her shoulder "stay there and be quiet" she requested harshly, getting grip on the binoculars that hung around her neck and surveying the situation and peering around the tree across the opening.

Brian heard a shrill shriek and he stood exactly where he was, not wanting to scare the monkey that had screamed. He didn't know that it had been a monkey, but that was his assumption. As soon as he opened his mouth to call it, he was pinned against a tree with a hand over his mouth. Oddly enough, his facial expression did not change. He looked at Kelsey with a look of complete weirded outness. Did she just come around for a day and then leave, and then come around again a year later. He was lucky to have been here on the day she chose. "Kelsey get your hand off of me!" he yelled. Of course, she had her hand over his mouth so it sounded more like "skajfhaksjfasgkuahsdgklsjgdbkasghsuvskv!" He then did the only thing that he could think to do. He stuck out his tongue and licked her palm. That made him laugh on the inside.

.... "yes yes I'm delicious, now shut your noise tube" she murmered, still glancing out of her binoculars at the bucket of cherry koolaid. This had been a year operation almost jeopardized by a careless companion. "you know better than to drink out of buckets in the forest" she snapped. "i mean, blood on the ground would be better for you" knowing that he was more than likely trying to get a fix.
"here" she said chucking the binoculars at him and rustled aimlessly in her backpack ... "oh by the way, how are things" she replied in a happy tone that made the forest a bright green with a spot of sunshine hinting through the trees with a smile that dazzled...

Brian squinted at her after she puffed herself up about being delicious. He thought about biting her but decided it would be such a mean thing to do to an old friend...especially one he hadn't seen in so long. Blood in a bucket seemed pretty safe to him. Who would suspect something like that? Not he. Oh well, he was stuck here now and he couldn't really do anything about it. And how the heck did Kelsey expect him to tell her how things were if she were going to cover his mouth?
It was exactly like dentists asking their patients questions while cleaning their teeth, or like a surgeon asking a patient how something feels when they're knocked out, or asking a person who's chest is being stomped on by an angry ape what the derivative of y=sin(5(-2x+3)^(5/2)), or asking a person who is mute to tell you the weather for tomorrow, or asking a nun to tell you why the faith is in itself blasphemous, or asking a brown and black raccoon to tell you anything at all. It just simply wasn't possible. Brian only rolled his eyes and licked her palm again. She was right. It tasted like...watermelon. Strange. He squinted at her once again in suspicion.

"oh brian brain, to you need glasses?" she mused "you sure are squinting alot. and that's nice my day is going quite fabulous. In fact this morning I" ... and it went on for two hours. Kelsey being as egotistical as she is, she didn't even notice Brian hadn't given a response, much less his mouth was covered. "and that's why I forgot to wear pants today" she finished... ... "well don't be so quiet d00d" she frowned. "I did find these shorts out here. It looked like one of the students got eated by something... ... o wow, speaking about things eating things" she exclaimed taking her hand of brian's face, a trail of saliva following. "I completely forgot lunch" she said, her mouth already half full of a sandwich.
