Renee stared at the envelope in front of her. She had read through her letter several times, but could not believe that she was actually about to embark on a journey of magic. Yet, the crisp parchment paper didn't look the sort of paper that would lie.
She smiled, pulled the letter out of the envelope for the eighth time and read it again. "We are pleased to inform you that you have been accepted to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry..."
She skipped over the beginning letter and started reading the list of required materials once more. Luckily, her letter told her where to go to buy all of her school supplies. She wasn't quite sure her parents fully believed this letter was real yet, but she didn't care.
She at least remembered all of the crazy things that had happened to her, and magic explained all of it. Like when she was sparring in a martial arts tournament and, somehow, was able to land every single kick without being touched herself. That was just unheard of.
"Well Renee, next week it's off to Diagon Alley, and then the adventure of a lifetime" she said to herself. She looked around the kitchen and smiled. Pretty soon she would be on board a train going towards a land of total enchantment. Magic was something she had always dreamed of, now it was real.
