Shane leaned out of an open winder of the seventh floor. He was so far up that he assumed he would be scared but for some reason he wasn't. He hadn't been getting any sleep lately due to his late night study sessions and wandering. He started to think about the murders and disappearances and of course the Dark Lord which seemed to be occupying his mind the most lately. But what could he do? The question pondered his mind and slowly faded away with the setting sun. he sighed and began playing with his wand.

Sophia slipped from her dormitory absently playing with her wand like a tiny baton between her fingers. That was usually a nervous habit. Of course she was nervous. Do you have any idea how many owls she was going to get telling her how sorry different people she didn't even know where. Sure, Joshua Davis was her father, and a well known auror. But having a well known auror for a father certainly does not mean you're well known yourself. She stepped onto the landing of the seventh floor corridor from the stairwells. She hadn't even realized that she'd made it this far up. She was on her way to the owlery, to send her brother the message concealed in her back pocket. She wasn't sure though, if she actually wanted to send it or not, so putting it off was probably the better idea.
Sophia's attention was reverted quickly to the boy she almost ran into. No wonder she usually tried to keep herself from walking too close to walls. He was hanging out of the seventh floor window. Wow, that must be scary. She cringed to think of it. But of course, she was the one who sat in the window sills in the owlery all the time, when she was expecting letters. For some reason, the owlery seemed a place good to wait. ;D
"Er, Hi." She hadn't exactly expected to almost crash into him, and it had startled her just a tad. As soon as her heart crawled back into it's correct position, she was able to breathe properly once more.
((Ew, suckage. It's lateeee, lol.))
