Keelly was a bit of a mess. Alex had just ran out of her dorm room, and was no where in sight. So she, being Keelly, ran from the tallest tower of Hogwarts, where the Ravenclaw tower resided to the spot she was at now. "ALEX!" She cried out, in between whistling for her puppy. Why did he have to leave her now? He was her island in the sea of hate she was drowning in. Her face was pale, she had to find him. The only problem was she was out of breath, and had no desire to run in a wild goose chase around the school.
Her hair was in no condition to be seen in public. Her usual bouncy curls lay flat on her head, with the occasional fly aways. Or the not so cute hair that wouldn't sick down. Half of her head was curly, though. She had been in the middle of doing her hair when an unsuspecting first year opened her dorm room. And then her dog flew out. Ugh, she was disgusted with herself. She hadn't even bothered to changed out of her Pajama's. Oh well, she was looking for her dog, not a job.

Renn sighed to herself as she looked around her dorm. Everything was so cluttered and mixed up. She couldn’t take it anymore! She had to get out! Now! She looked down at herself. She had already changed into her long green and black plaid pajama bottoms, and her Blue T-shirt. Oh yea, she was So in style now, but back to the point. She looked around as she entered the common room, arching her brows at the kids reading. Who read anymore? Well…besides her sometimes? She just couldn’t see others reading but whatever right? Yea! She headed out into the dungeons.
To be honest, the dungeons were pretty scary at night….and she lived down there in the Slytherin common rooms. Her slippers made a soft thumping sound as she walked up the stairs. She really didn’t know where she was going, but she just wanted to get out of the vicinity of the dark dank dungeons. And then she found herself on the sixth floor, as far as she needed to be, but not completely alone anymore. She looked around the corridor. Her eyes scanned the space around her as she walked, and then she paused. “ Keelly?” She asked, seeing someone a few feet away from her. “Are you okay?” She asked as she realized it WAS Keelly.

Keelly felt her eyes welling up with tears. Alex couldn't have left. "ALEX!!!" She called out again, her yelling sounding hoarse. She couldn't help her tears as they began pouring out of her eyes. She went over to the wall and slid down, in no mood to be bothered. Maybe if she could concentrate hard enough, she would magically feel where Alex was. She wrapped her arms around her knees and layed her head down on on the tiny platform she had made. She heard a voice call out her name, timidly at first. And it was the one voice she didn't want to hear. The one voice that could make her feel worse than she already was.
Renn had always been her friend. She never backed away from Keelly ever. And so far, she had always been at her side, even when Keelly and Ath broke up. Not against Ath, but not against Keelly either. Now that Ath and Renn were going out, she felt betrayed. She probably wouldn't be able to hang out with Renn any more because of the awful tendancy that Ath had to totally freak out at Keelly when she was in his presence. She picked up her head and looked up. "What do you want, Renn?" she snapped. She knew it was very wrong to push all of the people she loved away from her, but it was the only way she knew to cope with losses.
It didn't help t hat her parents were missing. Keelly heard that they were dead from some unknown source, but she was misinformed. Apparantly they were missing, with all of her other sisters. She might not have cared for her parents, but her sisters were her family. She loved them more than she could love anyone, and now they were God knows where. She frowned and started crying harder. "Just leave me alone. I don't need your help." Being Renn, Keelly knew she wouldn't go away, no matter how much of a tantrum Keelly threw.

Renn arched her brows at her friend as she walked over, standing in front of where she now sat. “Keelly, are you alright?” She asked. Oh yea she knew Keelly was probably pissed that she and Ath were going out now, but that really didn’t matter. They were still friends right? Well she didn’t really know at the moment. She sat down in front of Keelly, completely set on getting her to talk about her problems even if it took all night.
She rolled her eyes at her friend and shook her head. “ I really don’t think you should be alone, you look….depressed” She pointed out. “Come on, you know we’re still friends Keelly! It doesn’t mean we can’t be friends even if Ath and I are ‘together’ you know?” She asked. Renn didn’t even know why she tried to gain her trust again, but she didn’t feel right leaving Keelly there…in the corridor….crying.
She sighed and leaned back on her hands, looking at the girl in front of her expectantly. The sleep that had been starting to rise to over come her, completely gone now. “Please? I want to help” She said timidly.

Keelly yelled out her tiny dogs name again, but to no avail. It seemed like the puppy was no where to be found. She looked up at Renn and said with a lot of bitterness in her voice, "Renn, what do you think? Do I look okay?" Her voice wavered a bit as she choked into sobs. Her dog was gone and she was devastated. This was the most she had cried in a year since... Forever. First with all the stuff with her friends betraying her, and now her dog leaving. It had left the emotionless- well, nothing but happy- Keelly in tears. Broken, to be totally honest.
She felt Renn's weight shift to the floor and Keelly let out an inaudible groan. Renn was going to be difficult. That much was clear now to Keelly. Her tears left her as she listened carefully to Renn's words. "You think I am DEPRESSED?" she shouted, her voice so high, she wasn't sure if Renn could hear the sarcasm in her words. "Really, Renn. I thought you were smart. Of course I am depressed. Little Miss Socialite loses all of her friends, breaks up with her boyfriend, no contact with family... You think I have a reason to act the way I do?" She ended her rant with a sigh and Renn started to rebuttle her. She was letting out so much steam, and it was sort of exhausting her. She cut Renn off mid sentance.
"You have no idea what happened between me and Ath, so you would have no idea why you and I can't be friends." she said, a little quieter, her voice still sharp, but not as high as it had been before. The cold stones underneath her were starting to make her legs feel uncomfortable, but she didn't care. "Don't you understand Renn? Ath hates me. And if we were friends, he would hate me even more and stop you from hanging out from me. He probably has some stupid idea that I am dangerous." She snorted, and the snort soon burst into laughter. If Renn thought she was insane, she might as well go along with it.
She kept laughing right through Renn's comment. "How do I know that? You aren't trying to help me. If you wanted to help you would go away when you're told. Go away from me Renn. Now."

Renn rubbed her hand down her face as she looked around. Oh! Had Keelly lost her dog? She thought. Why hadn’t she asked when she got there? She didn’t know anymore. “Keelly…No…you look like crap” She said, total honesty in her words. He friend did look horrible, sitting in a hallway all by herself, looking for her lost dog.
“Well Keelly, you’re not giving me any evidence that you’re not depressed” She said in a calm voice. She had had to deal with a lot of yelling before, so she was used to it. Renn, however didn’t like that her friend didn’t want her help. Was it because she was with Ath? Probably, but Keelly should have known that she wouldn’t let that get in the way of her friends. She arched an eyebrow at her, her eyes narrowing slightly.
Renn sighed again and pulled her legs to her chest, resting her chin on her knees. “Well why don’t you explain what happened? Make me understand then.” She said icily. She put one hand on the cold floor as she leaned back, still looking at Keelly. “Ath doesn’t own me Keelly,” She snapped, “ And you’re less dangerous than most people, so I think I’m fine…” She said quietly.
Her eyebrows shot up when she heard Keelly laughing. Was she really going insane? Renn thought so now, but she laughed softly along with her. “How about I help you find your dog, and then we talk some more, and if you really want me to leave, I’ll leave” She said, crossing her arms so that they were hugging her legs again.
