Caitlin knew herself better than to take directions which sent you in the general direction and made you do the rest yourself. She had spent an hour sitting in the Ravenclaw common room, her stomach grumbling so loud people acoss the room had begun to complain. Her neighbour so tired of her complaints had suggested she visit the kitchens, the house elves there seemingly not minding in the least. Having listened carefully to his directions, Caitlin found herself completely lost and seemingly on the second floor..somewhere.
With a sigh, she attempted once again to get down the stairs and for once they let her do just that as they stayed still. Hurrying down them in case her luck ran out, she randomly picked a direction at the end of the stairs and headed into it. The girl couldnt find her way out of a paper back even if she had a map, she'd spent more time since arriving at Hogwarts strolling up and down the corridors and yet, she still had no idea which way was which.
Stopping a few moments later as the corridor split again, she gave up and just leaned against the wall. Maybe if she stood there long enough she'd remember where she was. It was worth a shot.

IT'S BUBBLE DAY!
Oh, yes! Bubble day! The time of year when you skip down the halls blowing ginormous bubbles and nobody can look at you funny, because they should be doing it, too! How did Bubble Day come about, you ask? Well, my dear children, it started about twenty minutes ago when this Gryffindor was sitting up in her dorm room. Don't get me wrong, the dorm room's great. Very pretty, too. BUT IT'S SUMMER! YOU'RE NOT SUPPOSED TO BE COOPED UP IN YOUR ROOM DURING SUMMER!!! That's crazy! This girl intends to do anything and everything this summer. Visit Hogsmeade? She'll be there! Fight off centaurs in the Forbidden Forest? She'll be there! Tormenting the Whomping Willow? But of course!
"Skip, skip, skip to my Lou, skip, skip, skip to my Lou, skip, skip, skip to my Lou, skip to my Lou, my darlin'!" The Gryffindor yelled as she skipped merrily down the Corridor with her bottle of bubbles in hand. "SKIP TO MY LOU MY DARLING!" She repeated one last time. Autumn continued to skip down the corridor, because no one could stop her! NOTHING COULD STOP HER NOOOOOOOW! She paused when she came to hallway intersection and looked around. Hmmm, there was another little girl there. Maybe she'd like some bubbles.
She pulled out her bubble wand and started to blow, making zillions of tiny little bubbles fly all over the place. "Hey, do you like bubbles?"

Xander was walking along the Second Floor corridor. There were only a few people there since it was Summer Vacation. Then there was the fact that families are wanting to stay together because of the recent happenings.
He had no destination in mind and he was just letting his feet take to where ever it pleases. After a few steps, he heard a girl's voice singing something, which he recognized to be muggle nursery rhyme. He started following the voice. He turned around the corner just as the voice stopped singing and witnessed a strange sight. Well, strange to him at least. Being a muggle-born, he wasn't sure if this king of occurences are an everyday thing here in Hogwarts.
What he saw was a girl leaning against the wall and another girl blowing zillions of tiny bubbles into the air and making it fly all over the place. He then heard the girl blowing bubbles say 'Hey, do you like bubbles?'
Figuring that Bubble girl was asking the girl leaning against the wall and not him since they hadn't noticed him yet, he just leaned against the wall. He intended to just watch the events unfold.

Caitlin was about ready to give up. Maybe if she wandered around a little longer she might find someone, or come across something she recognised. With a sigh, she pushed herself away from the wall and took a step forward. She paused though, as she heard a voice from somewhere down the corridor. Turning her head, she watched a little wide-eyed as a girl skipped into her sight and began to make bubbles come from her wand. Her eyebrow quirked at her question and for a moment she was speechless. She wasnt used to people coming up to her like this.
"Um..yes. They're good." She replied somewhat hesitantly, shyly. She had never made friends easily. And found it hard to talk with people she didnt know. Looking at the bubbles as they floated around them, she found she was more comfortable when she wasnt looking directly at the girl. As her eyes wandered, they fell on a boy standing not too far away from them. She was glad to seem them both. At least now she had someone to point her in the right direction.

Whoa, where'd this kid come from?? Could he apparate, or something? No, it can't be... there's a spell cast upon the school so they can't do that. Autumn looked at him in surprise, then shook it off, remembering that he would probably feel awkward about being looked at. "How about you?" She asked, trying to get a conversation started. She looked down at her container and smiled. There was still a bunch left, and she'd need it! She turned her attention back to the girl, who had given her an answer. Yay! Another bubble lover! "Yeah, they are pretty cool, aren't they?" She asked with a grin. The girl she had just met was shifting her eyes around the area, and finally stopped on the boy. "So.. I'm Autumn Rathjen. But you can call me Bubbles today, if you like." She said happily. Man, bubbles were awesome!

Xander noticed that 'Bubble Girl' was looking at him. The girl asked him too if he liked bubbles.
"Well..um.. I don't really like bubbles. But I don't hate them either.", he said to the girl. "Let's just say that I'm neutral about them."
Xander looked at the two girls and said, "My name's Alexander Halliwell. Call me Xander for short."

"As long as you don't hate them." She said to the boy, and added a friendly wink. "Nice to meet you, Xander!" Then she turned to the girl. "What's your name?" She asked nicely.
