"Tell me what you want, what you really reaaaaaally want." Cassidy sang, sliding across the floor. The school had been empty for what seemed an eternity, and the poor floors were misused and lonely, craving attention. Cassidy had conjured up the idea of getting on her schnazziest socks and sliding down the hallway, to see how far she could go. She giggled the first time after accidentally bonking against the wall, but after some practice she had become a pro.
"TELL ME WHAT YOU NEED, WHAT YOU REALLY WANT WANT!"
A ghost floating by shook their head, unknowing of Cassidy's deed. She just shrugged and stood at the end of the hallways, giggling.
"3...... 2...... 1....... Liftoff!" she shouted, getting at running start. About ten feet into it she stopped in a bamf position, allowing her socks to carry her across the floor.
Ooooooh, yeeeeeeah.

Waterlily watched from around the corner of the corridor with a cocked eyebrow. She was a little curious as to what in the world this older girl was doing. She didn't know the girl, of course, but what a fancy way to cross someone for the first time. She was singing and.. well Lily would call it dancing, but it was more like sliding around in the corridor. She was sure that with the way the school had been so empty lately, the girl would be unsuspecting of a younger student like herself peering from around the corner. Lily was about to turn around and walk away when the strangest things began to happen. First, her foot started to tap with what the girl was singing as the Spice Girls song started to slowly fill her own head. Her head bobbed slightly to the beat as though she was at a concert - just less intense.
Lily grabbed her own face by the cheeks, attempting to keep herself from head bobbing, and once she had felt that had ceased, she put her hand firmly onto her upper thigh, just above her knee, to try and get the tapping of the foot to stop. But it wouldn't stop. Her eyes widened and her head began to bob again. This was not good. Not good at all. She gulped as her fingers slowly fumbled for her shoestrings and began to pull off her navy blue chucks, revealing a pair of black socks littered with multicolored hearts. They weren't her best socks to slide around in, but they would certainly work.
She suddenly slid out into view of the older girl with a wide smile on her face, holding up her hand as though she was gripping a microphone. She slid around the hallway on her socks, not bothering to pick up her feet and as she slid a good few yards down the corridor closer to the older girl she sang at the top of her lungs. "I WANNA, I WANNA, I WANNA, I WANNA REALLY REALLY REALLY WANNA ZIGAZIG AHHHH!" Her torso moved in what she perceived as cool dancing motions as she slid around the corridor. She probably looked like a fool, but she really could care less.

Cassidy loved the feeling of sliding across a nice, polished floor. A favorite past time of hers as a youngster, she always thought that it was the closest she'd ever get to feeling like a bird. She could spread her arms out and flap them erratically, cawing and clucking, and just the gliding motion made her feel up in the air. Hehe. Cassidy giggled and tried to cover her mouth, but the imbalance of her hand movement left her swaying forward and backward trying to keep herself steady.
"AHH TARTER SAUCE!" she wailed, as she fell backwards onto her butt.
Now, these floors weren't just polished, they were super polished. Cassidy blinked as she began slowly spinning in circles as she continued to move forward. She could see her reflection on the floor, and giggled again. Oooh, those poor janitors must've been bored!
Then... BAAAAAAM!
Out of nowhere, a younger student was sliding down the corridor also, spazzing out as she glided around (to Cassidy, it looked like a nifty interpretive dance, so she made note to ask the girl where she could learn some super fresh moves.) She grinned, until she realized she was set on a head on collision with the girl.
"WAAATCH OUUUUT!" Cassidy warned, flapping her arms like a crazy person. She tried stopping herself, but her socks were too worn to cause any friction. In lieu of any other solution, Cassidy began making car skid and crash sounds. Buahahah.

Waterlily watched with wide eyes, having calmed down her dancing a little when she noticed that the girl was spinning and then suddenly she was headed her way. Lily turned and attempted to start running away, but instead the lack of any friction in her socks prevented her from gripping the floor enough to run. Her feet slid backwards, out from underneath of her, and suddenly she was on the ground, scrambling to get away. She attempted to crawl, but the denim jeans she was wearing weren't very good for friction either. She looked back in enough time to close her eyes and hope for her dear life that she wouldn't die when this girl ran smack into her. She squealed slightly as she felt the collision, sliding further down the hallway, spinning herself.
"Oh, let's hope there's no one else down this hall!" This had turned more into a large slip 'n' slide in the corridor than just fun in socks. Now Lily was sliding down the hall. She grabbed onto random objects such as a bench leg, a large torch holder, etc, but it seemed to work to no avail. She just couldn't stop herself.

Cassy was enjoying this, a little too much.
She giggled as they collided like turkeys fighting over who gets to date the lady turkey and as the girl crashed into her this increased the rate at which they were spinning. She felt like she was on a amusement park ride... why couldn't the floors be like this all the time?
"I'm Cassidy, it's nice to meet you slidey-floor buddy." Cassidy said, grinning. Welp, she may as well introduced herself if they were stuck like this for a while. She forgot how long the corridors were.
As the girl grabbed random objects they began sliding just as fast as they were, and Cassidy couldn't help but giggle some more. They were piling up right behind them, and it reminded Cassidy of a train. "Choooo choooo!" she giggled.
Cassidy tried to compose herself and think of a way to stop them from sliding all over the place and right into the end of the corridor. That would be a big ouchie. She thought and thought and thought and thought and thought until she realized something.
"Accio Troylie!" she sang, and within seconds her snake was flying right through the air and into her arms. Troylie always had awesome ideas!
"Mhmmm... Ohhh, I seee..." Cassidy hmmmm'd. Troylie was frantically hissing in her ear about ways to stop, but Cassidy couldn't understand them. D: Uh oh.
"Hey... do you speak Snake by any chance?..." Cassidy asked with a nervous chuckle. HOUSTON WE HAVE A PROBLEM.

Lily closed her eyes for a few moments, afraid of what fate might come to them if they couldn't stop their sliding quickly. She looked through squinted eyes at Cassidy, who had used the summoning charm to summon something she didn't recogn... okay that was a snake. And Lily was terrified of snakes. She shrieked at the sight of the poor little fella, who probably got shrieked at pretty often. "Uh, no. I don't.. well, I'm just flat out scared of snakes!" She admitted, gulping slightly as she looked at the slithery creature, frightened just by the sounds of the hissing it was doing.
"Uh, I'm Lily." She didn't bother, in their current situation, to give her actual name. If she had worried about the girl knowing Waterlily and that she only liked being called Lily, they might crash instead of figuring out a solution to their problem. "We could always.. summon cushions and pillows?" She shrugged.
