Laying first on her stomach her book out in front of her propped up against her discarded sweater Caerwyn soon flipped on to her back then back to her stomach. After this rotisserie style flipping had reached it's tenth revolution she reached out and slammed the book shut.
"Jason, I am bored!" she declared to the tutu wearing hamster who was fast asleep next to a half eaten jelly sandwich. "Ooooooh" she squealed grabbing the poor snoozing rodent and jumping to her feet. "Let's dance!" she cried before setting him back down, and cranking up the music on the little muggle device her mother had gotten her with an amplification spell. Giggling she set herself in to a tulle filled twirl across the room, long red curls flying.
(So rusty the keys are creaking, but gotta start somewhere right)

Braxton was in the mood for exploring. He sat alone in the Slytehrin common room diligently doodling working on his homework packet for Transfiguration, but found that the work was rather dull. After he found that he couldn't even doodle properly, he decided it was time for a, in his mind, well deserved break. Slamming his book closed and shoving it in his bag was the little effort that he required of himself before leaving. After all, he was the picture of work ethic!
Walking slowly from the common room, he wondered where would be the easiest place to have a good time at Hogwarts. Of course, his mind wandered to the top-most floor of the school. All though he hadn't ventured that far before, he heard that the vista of the surrounding area was pretty incredible. And a nice breath of fresh air wouldn't hurt either. So, without thinking, he began hopping up steps to get there. After all, time was a-wasting!
As Braxton approached what he assumed was the top of Hogwarts, a strange sound entered the air. Was that music? And it didn't sound like the "double, double, toil and trouble," crud that the choir usually put on during rehearsal. No ... this was "popular" music. Intrigued, he ascended the last steps carefully and entered the Rooftop Lounge. Inside was an even stranger sight.
SENSORY OVERLOAD. A girl with a crazy outfit was prancing with a small rodent crawling around. The girl seemed to be dancing! She twirled around the room and looked like she had not a care in the world. And because Braxton was so cool, he felt himself tapping to the beat. He had to get the feel for the song before he could totally freak out.
And then it happened.
Braxton completely zone out. This was pure bliss. His dance moves were superb, the view really was incredible ... this was more than bliss. This was heaven. Then the silly hamster brought him out of his trance. He was about to squeeze the life out of it with his foot (accidentally, of course), but caught himself just in time. Slightly winded, he collapsed on a couch and clutched his stomach. He apologetically looked towards the girl and said, "I'm sorry ... uhm. That's a cool ... thing you have there," pointing to the radio where music still blasted. What on earth do you say to a girl when you almost squished her (he assumed) hamster. "My name's Braxton the Squisher," he said playfully and grinned. "Who on earth are you?" The girl had curly red hair and a silly skirt, but that gave him no clue about her name. He could only decipher that she was completely insane, but in a good way. After all, anyone who dances just for the heck of it was pretty cool in his book.

((OooOOoo so sorry I just saw the reply!)
As she danced along Caerwyn seemed to have imagined a boy to dance with. Giggling to herself she watched her new imaginary friend dance along with her, he seemed to be having fun and he was surely a very flashy dancer. Just as she was about to pass out from exhaustion she noticed her new imaginary friend almost squish her poor little hamster Jason. Luckily just in time he stopped and Jason scampered away unharmed flashing a rude gesture as he went. "
"Jason what have I told you about that?" she squealed dancing the few steps over to give him tap on the nose. Turning to the boy who was now talking to her and telling her his name she came to the sickening realization that he was not a product of her imagination but in fact a very real boy. Had her cheeks not been so flushed from the dancing he would have seen the blush that instantly flamed her pale little face.
For a few moments she carefully studied the boy with her larger green eyes before letting her heavy lashes drop over them to look at the floor. She had gotten so much better at the shy thing but sometimes like now she had to wrestle with it. Finally she realized he had asked her a question and he must think her quite daft for not answering it already.
"Hello Braxton the squisher," she said lifting her head and tilting it the side, her smile filling her small face "I am Caerwyn the dancer, I like glitter and sometimes I am important" she told him with a mischievous gleam in her eyes, before breaking in to giggles and flinging herself on to the couch next to him.
