Rain. That was the weather forecast for the day, but that wasn't all that unusual for the great city of London. Kayla pulled on a red and white jumper and exited the top-floor penthouse her family called home without being noticed. She swung her bright red umbrella back and forth as she waited for the elevator doors to open. The 'ding' signaling its arrival made her smile and give a quick sigh of relief.
Within minutes, Kayla was walking the streets of central London. She could barely make out the shape of Big Ben with all the haze gray clouds. She hoped on a bus that would take her to Waterloo station, where she then boarded a southwest train service to Norbiton Station.

((OOC: I'm going to post with a June time-frame in mind, let me know if you had something else in mind for the time.))
Peter was enjoying his summer. Time away from class was an excellent time to see things, but up till now he'd spent an inordinate amount of time cooped up at home. His over protective parents needed him to 'stay' close. Today was his glorious escape. Even though he needed to travel with muggles, it was still sweet. He was wearing a pair of khaki pants, a white linen short-sleeve dress shirt, and brown leather shoes. He made sure that his satchel bag had some food and reading materials for the trip. Historic magical sites of England was in his bag amongst other books.
He was looking for an empty compartment, if any were left on the train. He nervously put his gloves on to avoid touching any muggle 'contaminated' handles or latches. He looked in on muggle families in compartment after compartment. None were empty in the first two cars that he passed. He continued into the third car, but prospects were looking rather bleak, until he came across an empty compartment. He opened the door and entered the room. He sat next to the window and leaned back for the ride. He pulled out his book (see above) and started reading, the whole while trying to keep it partially concealed in case a muggle barged in.

It was a 25 minute ride from Waterloo to Norbiton Station, and Kayla had seen it so many times before that she didn't desire in the least to stare out the window for all of it. So she pulled her ipad out of her red and white knit satchel and put in her head phones. She found an empty seat across from a boy that looked to be her age. She offered him a quick smile before delving into the depths of her muggle technology.
She was browsing a file of photos she had created to help her study for both potions and herbology. It was like flashcards in a sense. The first picture was a photo; the second a description followed by the name. She found it quite helpful and planned to make one for each of her classes.
She got through a few of the pictures with ease, but she came across a picture of wolfsbane. She remembered it had two other names, but could not remember them. She gave up and switched to the description page.
"Monkshood! Of course!" she whispered to herself spiritedly.
