The sound of rolling wheels had rung out all around Kings Cross Station, as many civilians traveled across its gravel floors with their luggage. This lively scene was filled with many different sounds, from the chattering of the people to the loud howls of a departing train. Then suddenly a loud shout cuts through most of the noise. "OH NO YOU DIDN'T!" yelled a short, stubby woman, who looks as if shes woman be in her late thirties. "How could you forget to bring the camera? You know how important this is?" Her face was frowned up at her husband, who was a rather slim man with thick dreaded hair and who had also appeared to be in his late thirties. "It was an accident woman, maybe you can just use your camera on you PHONE, like most people in these modern days." "You wouldn't had forgot your drink" says the woman in a snippy tone. "Guys, guys!" a young boy says to interrupt his parents bickering "Must you guys do this now? Your suppose to be seeing me off." "Yes yes sorry honey." The lady says as she heads over to her son. She then gives him a huge hug and says "Oh im so proud of you. My baby's up and going to Hogwarts. Now you still have your ticket right?" The boy grumbles "Yes.." She the pursues a barrage of questions "Do you know where your going? Do you have all your things? Are you going to be ok up there alone with no family? Do you want me to hold off on sending you for a year?" Irritated, the boy cries out "MOM! I got this." The mother then looks as though she was about to burst in to tears of joy for her growing little boy and gives him yet another big hug as she barley gets the word "Ok.." out. "You be ok out there Shannon." The father says in his deep toned voice as he place his hand on his son, Shannon's shoulder "Remember to do well, you are representing the McIntyre family." Shannon sighs and says "I know I know. Well guys I have to get to my platform now." The mom then hops up and says "Ah yes, you dont want to be late and miss your train, we won't hold you up any longer. We love you Shannon, please be safe." He then grabs hold of his large amount of luggage and turns to his family to say "Love you guys too. I will see you guys later." His parents then waved him goodbye as he made his way down the station and vanished into the ongoing crowd. After traveling down to one of the last platforms which was marked ten, Shannon draws out his ticket to review over the platform he was suppose to head to. "Platform Nine and Three quarters?" he mutters to himself "Did I pass it?" Puzzled, he begins to travel back and forth in search of this mysterious platform. He begun to ponder if maybe the people at the ticket booth messed up or maybe he was to just get on platform nine. He couldn't go back and catch up with his parents to ask them because then his mom would just under-mind his decision to go, thinking he would be incapable of handling himself and try to keep him home. Shannon refused to let that happen and live another average life, he yearned for adventure far to much to head back to that. He then searched around for anyone that could be of assistance to him or seemed as though they were heading to the same place.
