Nina really should have been studying or starting her homework. She didn't exactly get off on the right foot with some of her professors and having uncompleted work this early on in the term would only contribute to the negative image she was sure they had of her already. Not that she cared about being liked. She wasn't in school to brown nose or make friends. A bombardment of howlers from mum was what she feared the most. They were horribly obnoxious and knowing her mother, she wouldn't just stop at one or two. Nina was a stubborn girl, she required at least five for the message to sink in. Sighing, Nina resolved to getting straight to her homework as soon as her latest journal entry was complete. The first few weeks of the term were eventful, to say the least, and she really needed the time to clear her head. There was also the matter of Butch and her ragdoll. She really would not be able to take care of them unless they were separated and isolated from one another, but Butch seemed almost obsessed with her sister to the point where it was a little creepy. If Nina were older and mature enough to make such an observation, she would compare the dominance Butch held over her sister as a relationship in which the younger vampire was her b***h, but alas a girl of eleven would never make that connection so as far a Nina was concerned, Bec was just creepy. Smiling to herself, Nina found a comfortable spot somewhere on the roof and started her journal entry.

Christina had been wanting to talk alone with Nina ever since the incident in the Room of Requirements she figured she needed an ally. She was going to have to have someone else who agreed with her about Angelina and her sister if she wanted to be properly defended against them. She had noticed Nina in one of the corridors making her way to the roof and followed her up top.
She walked out on to the top of the Castle and waved to Nina. "hey Nina right, your in my Care of Magical Creatures class I'm Christina Abbot." she said with a warm smiling while walking over to Nina. "You seem to know alot about Vampires and that Angelina and her sister are vampires," "Angelina tried to bite me while I was sleeping in the Room of Requirements I could use a friend who knows about vampires," she said smiling.

Figures she'd be bothered at the one place she thought was safe from annoying people. The girl claimed to be in the same class as Nina but she did not seem the least bit familiar. All Hufflepuffs looked the same anyway. "Uh, sorry I don't really remember you.." Nina turned away determined to complete her journal entry for the day, but the girl would not stop talking. Taking a deep breathe and focusing on her happy place, Nina stood up to face Christina properly. "Look, I don't know who you are and as much as I would like to sit here and tell myself you'll go away if I ignore you, I don't think it's going to happen so I'll make this quick." She held the journal out inches from the girl's face and pointed at it. "See this? Before you came here telling me my own business, I was in the middle of something and I would really really like to finish. So please, turn around, go back to your dorm and do whatever it is Hufflepuffs DO." Nina plopped down on floor and flipped her journal to an empty place. She had no time to waste on nosy people. If her story was true and the fiend really did try to bite her, why go to an eleven year old girl for help? Sure Nina did her fare share of research, but she by no means considered herself an expert. Given the countless adults scattered throughout the castle, a person truly in need of help would have approached one of them. lying little weasel..

"Well I'm sorry I bothered you I just thought you seemed cool and might like to make friends as I do." she said smiling. "I will leave you to your writing." she explained walking off the roof.
