"If I don't trust you, would I even want to drink a potion made by you?" Chiaki took the vial and gulped down everything at once. The potion tasted awful and she made a face at the Slytherin. "What kind of potion is this? It tastes awful." After some time, Chiaki began to feel weird, like she wanted to throw up and she was getting rather dizzy...she seemed to be fainting soon. She didn't know if that was what the potion was supposed to do, make people feel sick or did it just have a weird reaction towards her. She closed her eyes and felt nauseated.

"I don't know, you're still suspiscious that I'm going to poision you. Maybe you just have a death wish."
Serafina turned back to watch as the Ravenclaw swallowed the potion, "Yeah I expect it does taste bad." She frowned and watched the girls reaction, not sure that's what's supposed to happen she thought to herself. Serafina stepped closer and took in the girls appearance, she looked more sick than hypnotised.
"Hmm maybe the snake eyes had a strange reaction." She muttered, she raised her hand and snapped her fingers in front of the girls eyes to see what reaction she would have if the potion was working like it should then there would be no reaction at all.

Somehow, Chiaki still managed to retort back. "Bingo! I'm curious to know how it's like being poisoned and maybe the feel of dying will be nice too." She wasn't talking much sense but how could you expect her to talk sense in her current state.
"What did you say about snake eyes? You did want to poison me or at least make me sick?" She was getting rather drowsy but she snapped her eyes open. It was a bad thing for her to choose to open her eyes at that moment and the Slytherin snapped her fingers in front of her eyes. "Eww. What do you want to do with your fingers? It's so long and so scary." Chiaki shuddered slightly, her fear had returned again, now that she wasn't too curious.

Serafina frowned and stepped away from the Ravenclaw, she was rambling a little strangely but she sounded no more hypnotised than she had to start with. No she seemed more dizzy and sick than anything else and still holding onto the notion that Serafina was trying to poison her.
"No I wasn't trying to poison you for the last damned time." She snapped sitting back on the edge of the desk and watching the girl closely, "Nothing in that potion was harmful, the worst it would do is make you sick and if it works properly it shouldn't even do that." She said. Serafina was annoyed that the potion hadn't worked as it was supposed to.

Chiaki was becoming insane or rather hysterical. Was the potion supposed to do that? "Ah ok, you didn't want to poison me. You are so nice after all." Though she was feeling all sick, she still could hear and talk, which was maybe unfortunate for the Slytherin because she was talking nonsense. "What did you say? The potion's not working properly? That means your skill is no good. And you said it was good. Liar." She looked at her accusingly.

Serafina scowled at the ranting Ravenclaw girl who was beginning to grate on her nerves, she was beginning to wish that she hadn't bothered to bring her down to the dungeons.
She narrowed her eyes at the girl as she accused her of being a liar, "I am not a liar," She said through gritted teeth trying not to lose her temper. "My skill is just fine but when you experiment you can never be sure of what will happen. That's why it's an experiment!"

Chiaki was enjoying making the Slytherin mad. She was curious to see what would happen if she blew up. "Ah, I forgot you said you wanted to experiment it. It's my fault then, I'm sorry." She was beginning to grow less dizzy and coming back to her sense.

Serafina sighed, the girls muddled attitude that had amused her before in the library was now beginning to do nothing but frustrate her.
"Well more yours than mine." She snapped looking down at the sheet of parchment on which she had written how she'd made the potion. "I just don't see why it didn't work!" She muttered bitterly to herself, "It should have worked, there is nothing wrong with it." In frustration she screwed up the parchment and sighed looking at the ravenclaw girl and narrowing her eyes. It was her fault, it had to be. There was somthing about her that made it go wrong.

"Of course it's mine. It's obvious, isn't it? Maybe I can drink it one more time." Chiaki rather enjoyed being experimented. It was fun and fresh.

Serafina shook her head, "I don't know if overdosing on something that made you feel sick is a good idea." She said vaguely but still placed another vial of potion onto the desk. "But if you want to them I'm not about to stop you."

"I'm taking another one. Though it tastes awful." Chiaki grimaced before she took it and gulped it down. It tasted as awful as before and she blinked her eyes. If she looked into a mirror, she would find out that her eyes looked sort of glassy and her mind was away somewhere.

Serafina watched with interest as the girl picked up the second vial and gulped down the potion, a small part of her glad that she had decided to try some more afterall it was good to find out what might happen.
After drinking the second vial of potion the girl merely blinked and failed to have any other reaction. Serafina had not held out much hope that the potion would have any further effect than maybe making the girl be physically sick but she didn't do that, she didn't even grimace like she had before. On the contrary she did nothing, she stood still like a statue her eyes taking on a vague glassy look. "It worked?" Serafina said suddenly rushing over towards the Ravenclaw.
She waved her hand in front of the girls eyes to check for any sign of a reaction, if the girl was just faking it then there would be trouble.

Chiaki just stood there, staring at nothing in particular. She bet the Slytherin didn't know if that was genuine or it was just a fake. Putting on glassy eyes is just simple and making her mind wander off far away was even easier. She just had to dream.
But come to think of it, she didn't even know if she was putting on an act. It seemed to be becoming more and more genuine and she dared not blink her eyes, for fear the Slytherin would catch her and her act would be over, without really knowing if it would turn genuine.

The girl made no response, Serafina grinned and began to pace the floor around the Ravenclaw. It really seemed to have worked, she wasn't moving, she wasn't even blinking. It had to have worked.
One last test just to make sure She thought to herself as Serafina raised a hand and pushed the girls shoulder. Not so hard that she would topple and fall over, although Serafina had to admit that it was rather tempting, but just enough to see if she would stumble or simply sway on the spot like a badly anchored statue.
Then came the question, if she really was finally hypnotised what would Serafina have her do?

Chiaki hated the Slytherin for wanting to make so many tries. She was semi-conscious, and she couldn't think clearly. It would be bad if she reacted wrongly to the push and it would be revealed that she was acting. She didn't want to think what the Slytherin would do then.
How do people hypnotized react to pushes like that? Do they fall down? No, her push wasn't strong enough to make me fall down. If I fall down, it would be obvious that I did it deliberately. So what do they do? Should I just act on my own accord? It was a bad thing she knew nothing about hypnotics but maybe the other girl didn't either. However, this wasn't something which could be taken for granted. One wrong move and everything would blow up. It was risky.
Her body began swaying back and forth, it was rather dangerous, she might have fell down but she just didn't. It was acting on its own accord. She didn't know why she would do it. Was it possible that she was really hypnotized this time? She hoped the Slytherin won't want to do any other things as she was fighting to keep her mind conscious. It was like the potion really was starting to take effect.
((Yay, back to a longer post))
