"Hellooooo London!" Anna called as she hopped off of the train she'd taken into the city from her home, where she'd been spending ungodly amounts of time (or at least it felt like a lot of time, this summer seemed to be taking years to pass). She was getting restless at home, unable to use magic or even talk to anyone but her parents and brother about the adventures she'd gotten up to the past year at school. Oh, there were lots. Saving the world, party planning, making loads of friends and even a couple of enemies. Life was good. But since the end of school she hadn't heard from any of her friends, perhaps they were spending their summers the right way - with great adventures and days full of fun and excitement. Not her; she was doomed to spend her days being taunted by her big brother, who was pretty alright when she was only seeing him a few days out of the year, but as of late his antics were just annoying and she was helpless to stop him. He was about a foot and a half taller than her and probably double her weight, after all. What she really needed to do was find him a girlfriend - a mission for today, perhaps?
With that thought in the back of her mind, Annalisse exited the train station to find a lovely sunny day awaiting her, perfect for the day of city fun she had ahead of her. The problem was, she'd been cooped up in her small town for so long that she didn't know where to start in a place with such possibilities for fun. There was always shopping, but maybe she'd save that for later. The first place that caught her eye was an ice cream shop. What better way to wander the streets on a sunny day then with an ice cream cone in hand? With a broad smile adorning her face, Anna meandered into the store and looked at the flavor choices, deciding a few minutes later on a vanilla with rainbow sprinkles. Simple yet undeniably delicious. Back out on the street, Anna licked her ice cream and walked slowly down the sidewalk, smiling at everyone she passed even though her mouth was a mess of different colors thanks to the sprinkles.

Wentworth couldn't help but chuckle when he saw the Annalisse walking down the street with ice cream cone on her face. I should say something, he thinks to himself. Stranger or not, she should know...
"Excuse me, but you have a little something *he indicates the area around her mouth where the ice cream residue is most saturated* right there."

As one of the kind people on the street pointed out that she had ice cream all over her face, Anna blushed bashfully. She was never very good at keeping clean with things like ice cream, which tended to melt on warm days such as today, plus there was the fact that he was delicious so she wasn't paying attention to the fact that it wasn't all ending up in her mouth - just around it. "Thanks," she said, looking down at the napkin she had wrapped around the cone, which was soaked with melted ice cream. That wouldn't do her much good, would it? Shrugging her shoulders, she used the back of her hand to wipe off her mouth and then wiped her hand on her shorts. Yes, spreading the sticky mess was totally the appropriate action. "Better?" she questioned, licking some of her melting ice cream before flashing him a friendly smile.

It takes every bit of composure that poor little Wentworth can muster to not stare aghast at the young woman's reaction to his comment. In stead he lets crack a thin smile and nods his head. While his mind thinks, yeah right, as if that made it any better, he merely responds, "yes, much." At least the mess is now isolated to the shorts. He realizes that he is still a stranger to the girl and comments, "I'm Wentworth...Fitzwilliam Wentworth, and you are?"

Anna grinned as he confirmed that her cleanup was successful, rocking back and forth on her feet as she waited to see if he'd say something else - it looked like he was about to say something so she didn't want to be rude and interrupt his thinking or anything. "Annalisse Childs, but that's a mouthful so most people call me Anna," she replied with a nod of her head. "It's nice to meet you, Mr. Wentworth. Why may I ask do you go by your last name?"

Wentworth can't help but think, she appears to be such a pleasant and unassuming girl.
"A pleasure to meet you, Anna. Such a suiting name. I also find my whole name entirely too cumbersome. Fitzwilliam is very verbose. I find Wentworth to be more fitting."
"It appears that you are unaccompanied. Could this be true, might I offer my services? At least for a while that is."

Anna nodded her head in understanding at his response. Really he just took a different approach to shortening his name than she did, she supposed. She grinned lightly at the thought of telling people to call her 'Childs.' That'd be rather silly, she much preferred being called Anna. "You observe correctly, I'm all by my lonesome. What exactly do your services entail might I ask?" she asked, pausing to giggle before continuing, "Just kidding, of course you may!"

He starts saying, "Well as..." but then comes up short as she continues.
"It would be my pleasure." Wentworth quickly assesses which hand is less messy, and extends the corresponding elbow, as for her to take it. ((Supposing that she takes his arm)) "Where to mademoiselle?"

Anna laughed as Wentworth offered her elbow and rubbed her messy hand on her shorts before latching onto it and looking around. "Hmm, well you see I was wondering the same thing. I couldn't decide - any suggestions?" she asked, beginning to walk towards a trashcan and tossing the soggy remains of her ice cream cone towards it when they got close enough. "Perhaps a bathroom or somewhere with a sink would be good for our first stop..."

"Well, I'd imagine that there is something around here..," Wentworth thought as fast as he could of the places he passed on his way here. He remembered a corner cafe not too far away. "Oh, that's right. There is small cafe about a third of a mile or so from here. How does that sound?"
((Assuming that this is satisfactory))
"So Anna where are you from? Somewhere in London?"

Stalking was not a term Vancha liked, but it appeared to be something he did without thinking. This Flitzwilliam Wentworth was an odd specimin and Vancha wanted to learn a little more about him. He hadn't intentionally been following the poor child, but being on the rooftops left little room for manouver when you spotted someone. He followed Flitzwilliam until he ran into a young girl, of whome he also didn't know. Vancha perched himself on the side of the a rooftop and watched as the scene unfolded, trying not to laugh at Flitzwilliam. Sure he had confidence, and an obvious knack with the ladies (which reminded Vancha of a younger version of himself) but he was awfully uptight and proper. He began to snicker before realising that at Flitzwilliams age, Vancha had been introducing himself as "Vancha, the vampire Prince!". He disregarded this as being proper and more as a forwarning that he was a Vampire.
"Wel,l would you look at that. This boy is almost as charming as me. Together we could sell ice to Eskimos..." He whispered to himself, feeling his lips stretch over his fangs into a grin. He almost jumped down to introduce himself to the young lady. But Flitzwilliam was 'In There'. Vancha decided to follow them both for a bit, to watch a bit of young love blossom. Who knows, maybe they'd need help off the old Vampire at some point today. Carfully, he stood up and conceled himself waiting for the couple to move.

"That sounds marvelous," Anna replied with a nod of her head, beginning to walk in the direction that he had indicated. "Not exactly London, more on the outskirts. But it's an easy trip into London, just a short train ride. It's much quieter there than it is here, which is nice sometimes, but there's also a lot less to do." She smiled and shrugged her shoulders, glad that she was so close to the busy city and did not have to spend her summers completely bored. "How about yourself?" she questioned as an afterthought, getting the feeling that she was talking too much about herself.

With great interest, Wentworth listened to Anna's seemingly short description. He then replied, "Well, I'm from West Sussex. A short bit West from Arundel. So perhaps a little far from London to do more than visit from time to time. I can understand your meaning of quiet, it can be peaceful, but I love to get involved in society." Then his curiosity was itching and he asked, "what brings you to town?"

"Do you like it there?" she asked conversationally, for she wasn't sure she'd like being confined to a small town like the one she lived in. No, she'd probably make the trip to London frequently regardless of the length of time it required. "Oh, I was starting to get bored of home and it's been ages since I came out to the city...at least by myself, I've been shopping with my mom a few times but that's all she likes to do. Can't complain about that though, I like it too!" She giggled and shrugged her shoulders. "And why did you venture into the city on this fine day?"

((OOC: I'm not really sure how in the current venue and situation will be conducive to our disclosure of non-muggle status to each other, but I figure if we meet now and then interact in the magic world later as non-muggles )) "Well, I'm shopping also. Getting my school supplies before the big rush hits. You know, text books, paper and the like." He realized that his true school name shouldn't be revealed, just in case she were a muggle. "So what type of shopping have you been doing?"
