Caerwyn stood with her little head tossed back, spinning circles in the snow. Snow! pretty sparkly snow fell all around her landing on her hair and eyelashes. Her little cheeks were pink with cold but she had as usual taken her robes off and tossed them in the snow. At least her tights were warm I guess.

A very sexy man approached "Why hello there my precious, would you like a cookie?" ABBA-2 asked the girl. And since he looked almost indentical to the real ABBA, no one was sure to know the differance. Nor could they know of his evil plan to take over the school and turn all the students to mutant rodents and release them upon the world.
But since he wasn't dressed for the cold weather, ABBA-2 ran away as quickly as he had arrived in search of a nice warm fire.

Caerwyn gave quite the jump as Abba? appeared next to her and offered her a cookie "Well alright Uncle Abba...But" she replied running over to hug him. But by the time she reached out for him he had run away. "Curiouser and Curiouser" she said out loud going back to her snow dancing.

Jacob could see the nearly naked Abba streak across the lawn, leaving a disappointed little flower alone on the snow covered lawns. How could he resist, but to help the damsel in distress.
He made his way out to the maiden whose hair and clothes were dotted by precious snowflakes that acted like natural punctuation in the tapestry of her presence. His brown boots crunched the snow as he trod his way speedily to her side. He ran his hand through his hair, to ensure they had the proper frame before his introduction.
"It's too bad you couldn't catch him. *he turned to look the direction that the impostor went* The illusive partially clad version of Abba. He would have made quite the catch I hear." He returned his attention to the lovely first year and said, "That snow in your hair is truly breathtaking. You know...I'd let you catch me, if you'd like?"

Whipping around at the sound of boots in the snow poor little Caerwyn was not expecting the site that greeted her. There was a BOY standing in front of her... A pretty boy though not as pretty as her darling new love she thought with a girlish sigh before moving back to the matter at hand.
Not only was the boy standing there he was talking to her, complementing her. Miss Cadi blushed from the roots of her hair to the tips of her toes. Her big green eyes getting bigger and her little chin beginning to quiver. It seemed that her shyness had not all gone away as she struggled to say something. Finally the little girl forced some words to the surface "STRANGER DANGER!" she yelled pointing at the boy before dying a little inside at the pure lameness of it all.

Fitz (or Freddie as of late) was on a stroll around the lake when he heard it...a cry for help. His heroic instinct was activated as he began to run toward the only two people in view. Could it be true, or were his eyes deceiving him. Was the girl who yelled, "Stranger Danger" really Caerwyn? As he closed the 50 meters that now separated him from the two, he could see who the two were, and his heart was racing at the thought that she could be in trouble. He called out to her, "CAERWYN, WHAT'S GOING ON OVER THERE? ARE YOU ALRIGHT?" He arrived with steam issuing forth as he breathed, and waited for an answer.

He couldn't help but begin to laugh when the terrified girl screamed out 'stranger danger' while pointing a finger at him. He wagged his finger at the two of them and said, "I'm no danger to anyone, and I'd rather not be a stranger to anyone. Especially not you, Mr. Wentworth. That's right, I've heard your name around the common room. You are quite the little gentleman and cute as a button to boot..." It was just then that he recognized the look in Fitz's face as a defensive posture. He chuckled shortly, "Oh, wait...this is tragic." He turned to Caerwyn quickly, "Oh, dear me. You could have told me that you were taken. I would have understood." He glanced back at Fitz and mentioned with a wink, "She's quite the catch."

Hearing Freddie's voice next to her Cearwyn recovered enough to reach out and throw her arms around her friend, turning her red face from the strange boy and burring it in Freddie's shoulder "Stupid stupid" she whispered in to it little tears of embarrassment springing to her eyes. "He just scared me that is it" she told her friend hugging tight and ignoring the older boy completely, sure he must think her quite the baby. "I thought I was out growing this shy thing" she whimpered still red from head to toe.

Fitz returned her hug, and noticed that she was very cold. With one hand he undid his jacket and placed around her shoulders, and held her close to get her warm again. "No, Caerwyn...everything's just fine, and don't worry about being shy, I think you have no problem with that. Let's just get you a little warmer." He regarded the older student and said, "As for you sir, yes, I am Fitzwilliam Wentworth; and you are?" He couldn't help but notice the older student's height and contemporary fashion sense.

Jacob was nearly embarrassed to see their tender embrace. How sweet, he thought before responding to Fitz, "Hello, I am Jacob Clark. At your service." He bowed quickly before continuing, "And might I add that it is a pleasure to finally meet you. And if you don't mind me asking..." He turned his attention back to Caerwyn, "Who is your adorable girlfriend?" He extended his hand for a shake, "Miss Caerwyn Kynward I assume; the daughter of the illustrious school Matron?" If she shakes his hand then he'll hold on to it, turn it, lean in and give it a kiss.

Now much warmer and pleased with her Friendies appearance and support Caerwyn turned to the older boy. Leaning against her Freddie and grabbing his hand she looked the boy over carefully. He was very oddly mannered even more so then her Freddie in fact he reminded her of someone. Thinking for a minute she figured out who and excitedly pulled Freddie down she could whisper in his ear.
Having told her little secret she realized the boy was talking to her again. She gave him a funny look as he talked zeroing in on the last part "My Mummy is not a Matron she is still very young cause she..." she trailed off not wanting to tell this odd one her life history instead she held out a slim white paw that was secretly holding a palm full of glitter.

Jacob took her hand and as intended, gave it a kiss. When he released her hand he discovered the palm full of glitter. He smiled at the treasure. "Glitter. What a wonderful gift." He took the glitter and threw it straight up in the air, closing his eyes and directing his face up to receive the glitter on his face. As the glitter rained down on his hair, face, and clothes, he felt a great degree of energy course through his veins. He turned back to the girl, "Thank you for the glitter. And as for your mom. I think she's wonderful and definitely not old."

Fitz protectively kept his arm around Caerwyn not only to keep her warm and comfort her, but because he truely enjoyed being so close to her. As she leaned in to whisper into his ear he listened to her secret message. He smiled and whispered back, "do you think so?" He gave Jacob a scrutinizng glance from head to foot. Jacob's flourish with the glitter clenched his internal decision. His mind made up, he whispered again, "I think you're right."

Caerwyn giggled as the boy threw her glitter in the air but still kept close to Freddie a little unsure of the older boys motives. "Yes I think I am right too" she giggled to her bestest friend twisting her long red hair out of her face with a free hand. "Oh your just talking silly silly talk" she told the older boy giving him one of her silly pretty smiles. Though her big green eyes still held a touch of weariness.

Now Jacob was getting confused, what was the purpose for all the whispering. He didn't understand the reason for someone to be whispering so obviously about him and right in front of him. "It's alright my little humming birds, you don't have to whisper around me. There's no reason at all. So come now...what's the secret?" He did enjoy a good secret and he was curious what they had agreed to.
Was he just seeing things or did they both look at the ground at the same time. He was confident that there was only snow on the ground, but why would they look at snow.
