Christina was enjoying the feast before her she had already taken a couple big bites out of her yummy chicken leg. That is when the trouble started, first there was a fork that across the Ravenclaw table and ended up hitting the head of a first year Hufflepuff named Annika before falling to the floor. She then saw someone she never new before some lady complaining about lightening who on her way to the Head Table pushed a Hufflepuff student out the way. Christina thought to herself really even if the student was not in the right place at the right time to shove a student why that was just not something that adult teachers, staff or whoever did to a kid. Then she watched as Annika the girl who got hit by a fork go and slap a Ravenclaw girl this was getting bad. Then she watched as a the Ravenclaw girl who was slapped went and choked a girl.
Christina was shocked never was behavior like this done before during her first year. Luckily her good friend Anna had the same sense she did and tried to fix the situation the best she could. Christina was feeling really suprised and shocked she felt like the whole school was going crazy.
Christina being of cheerful disposition that she was and never afraid to be of cheerful nature and full of happiness for all her fellow students decided this had to stop. She got out of her seat at the table and marched right on up to the podium. Taking out her wand she used a spell to make a very very loud sound of a bullhorn that blasted all over the room to get everyones attention. When she felt they had all stopped and had their attention she started speaking. First with a very serious look to her she said
"Fellow students," while looking at her all four house tables then she turned and looked at the lady who entered last "and adults I am quite shocked and amazed at this outrageous behavior. Yes were all excited and this is the start of a new term but I've never seen anything as bad as this in my first year here not even from the Slytherins. I believe I know what we could use right now." "Will you all join me in singing the school song." she exclaims with a big bright smile full of cheerfullness using her want to conduct the song she starts it off.
"Hogwarts, Hogwarts, Hoggy warty Hogwarts....."

Saul had been busy stuffing his face, wondering where on earth all of the other new Slytherin's were this year, they seemed to be in a minority which was never good, when a number of things caught his attention.
First off he saw something silvery flash through the air, looked suspiciously like cutlery. He watched his half sister, Angelina, duck out of the way of the flying fork and made a mental note to introduce himself to whoever it might have been that threw it at her. He smirked slightly, though he'd never admit aloud, he was glad it hadn't actually hit her because then he'd be all conflicted. She may have been an irritating little nit but she was family and there was some sense of wanting to stick up for his kin buried deep down inside of him somewhere. He just didn't want to have to act on it.
Then there was a sudden crashing open of the massive doors of the Great Hall, and a rather scary looking woman marched in. She took up her place at the head of the staff table, promptly usurping the ministry woman who's name Saul had already forgotten. Perhaps this was the mysterious Headmistress, arriving for the feast late in order to make her dramatic entrance. Well it worked, and Saul made a mental note to try and not get on her bad side.
He spent a moment studying the staff table, wondering which professor might be teaching which subject, making judgments as to who looked like they'd teach him something interesting and who would probably send him to sleep, when a commotion over by the Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff tables once again drew his attention.
He looked around just in time to see the stuck up Hufflepuff girl who seemed to think she was some kind of princess slap Angelina around the face. Saul pursed his lips, there was that feeling rising to the surface, the need to do something gallant and protective but he told it to wait and see what happened. His half sister was hardly incapable of looking after herself.
So it was with a smirk of appreciation that he watched Angelina jump up, hold the Hufflepuff down and drown her in pumpkin juice. He felt rather impressed, though he wouldn't tell her that either, don't want to inflate her head any more than it already was. He chuckled slightly to himself and proceeded on with his dinner, no way was he about to sing the school song.

Through all the hustle and bustle, Candace hadn't noticed the Headmistress appeared. She stared pointedly at the woman late.. on such an occasion as this? Normally she might have felt offended at the way this woman acted to the student, but fortunately for the headmistress she too felt like doing acts of violence against the little pipsqueek, so, she overlooked such an occasion and got up to leave when something silver flew through the sky, after which all hell broke loose.
She pulled out her quill and notepad and scribbled furiously through all of this. This was just the material she was hoping for, juicy, interesting, definetly front page material. These kids were insane--- could she have asked for a better position? ... violence.. havoc.... lack of adult supervision.... headmistress, unphased... after she finished off the last line in her notes, which now filled the next few pages she got up from her seat.
"A word of advice, next time focus less on formalities and more on containing your school." with that said she grabbed her bag and began walking off, she stopped and turned around, "The ministry will be sending someone to observe, I trust you will improve your image by then? yes? " she raised a brow at her warningly and walked off.

Hightail was faintly aware of a woman talking in the background, all he was focused on was the food in front of him and that this woman's speech was all that stood in his way of eating. But he figured staring at his food wouldn't get him anywhere so he listened to the rest of her rant. Later he wondered how things would turn out here for himself and all the others.

Junior was about to enter the Great Hall to join the feast when an older female exiting ran into him leaving the feast. He looked at her tidy robes and serious demeanor on her face and recognized her as someone from the Ministry. Junior had never seen her before and for the most part, did not want to. She had a notebook clutched to her arms and for a brief second, Junior desperately wanted to steal it.
"Your Majesty" he said with a smile, beckoning her from the Hall.
Junior proceeded into the Hall. He was going to search for any old faces to chat to, but he noticed none. Wow, was he really that old? He watched the girl at the podium, trying to gesture everyone into a song while two girls battled it out.
"Wrong party" he apologized, shutting the door before anyone realized he had crashed the party.

Curriculum specialist...curriculum specialist...especialista de cirriculo? He repeated the words to himself a million times in as many different languages he could think of and it didn't seem to change a thing. Nathan was seated somewhere at the staff table on his first day of his new job and he still had no clue what the hell it was he was hired to do. Farrah came home one evening with a small stack of important looking documents to fill out and pointed at the big fancy X for him to sign next to. He didn't think to ask questions, figuring she finally decided to get that sex change and was just handing over divorce papers. Before he knew it Nathan was being shipped off to work at his old school to do....something. The only thing he knew for sure was that there would be free food at the joint and any place that offered free stuff was okay in his book.
Ministry worker at the feast? He didn't give a rat's ass. Even Farrah came second to enormous juicy steak waiting for him beside an assortment of his other favorite foods. He was right in the middle of conquering that bad boy, with half of it shoved in his mouth, when Bonnie made her grand entrance.
"dammit..... Didn't I say I wanted lightning bolts?!" she growled.
"EEEK!" He screeched like a little girl and slumped down in his chair some, hoping she wouldn't notice his presence. "But...I thought she said to clear out her vault.." He did think it was a little weird of her to be giving out her money like that, but who was he to question the Headmistress?

It was kind of strange for Jasper to be entering the school for the first time as a 4th year, but with the whole school being closed for ten years he had to be home schooled for his first three years. Jasper had hated this. His only child upbringing had made him pretty isolated and not being able to go to school had just furthered this. He was extremely excited to be finally going to Hogwarts. It didn't hurt that his aunt and cousins lived nearby in Hogsmeade either.
He ate the delicious food pretty much oblivious to everything else that went on in the great hall.

Britton had continued to.eat his food until he started to hear a ruccus coming from his own table, withfood still in his mouth he looked around to see two girls fighting. 'Why do i always find myself in the middle of drama?' He tjought to himself.
He stopped eating for a while to watch all the drama carry on. Just as he had stopped eating he saw another girl stand up and lecture the whole great hall about their behavior. This nevr happened at beaubattons,if it did the headmistress would have been all over the situation. These students were sure lucky to not be at his old school.
There was this one time that he remembered that this group of girls at dinner started to fight. Because of their actions all the food magically dissapeared from the tables and dinner was over. Not only that but the whole school was put on a probation. All students were to be in their dorms by 6pm and there was to be no one conversing in the halls and weekends were an entire bore! It was no fun spending the weekend in your dorm. It was either that or you could do chores all weekend and clean the campus.
But this was Hogwarts not Beaubattons. Britton stood up and looked at everyone. "Well! I can ses that this school has a very dofferent set of rules than Beaubattons! I thought everyone was kind to one another here. If we were at my old school dinner would be over......" he continured on to tell the story about the fight and what the concquences were and sat down and began to eat again hoping he wouldnt.be bothered again

Elessar saw Mary wave at him while he was chewing on a piece of steak. He waved back at her with a smile on his face and waved back to her. The smile on El's face quickly turned into a frown when Bonnie Parr announced that she was the new headmistress of the school.
"This ain't gonna be good." Elessar thought to himself as the demon queen walked towards the staff table.

Finally snapping out of her pink glittery bubble of a fantasy world Caerwyn suddenly realized that the room around her was filled and things were going on. Students seemed to have filled the tables and the staff the platform in front of them. Some kind of tussle was going on at a table near here and some very frightening looking women had just taken the podium. Caerwyn squinted at the lady trying to place where she had seen her before, perhaps when she was at the museum looking at paintings of the devil? No..no it must have been in her mother's yearbooks from her Hogwarts days...but still she felt like she had seen horns on this women somewhere.
Deciding to ignore the adults for now she shifted her focus to the yumminess in front of her and to the students who filled the tables around her. Her eyes flicked over the Gryffindor table several times but sadly she did not see her Freddy there. However a glance at the Slytherin table revealed her new friend Saul whom she had recently met in the boy's bathroom. In two winks a of unicorns lashes she was up on her seat waving her arms and calling out "Saul Alexander!!!" in her giggling slightly shrill little girl voice "Hello Saul Alexander" she called again waving her small pale arms in case somehow he missed her first call.

Farrah wasn't completely oblivious to all the goings on, but once that Ministry wench left, she didn't care so much. She didn't like the idea of some strange person going around her precious school, criticizing staff, intimidating students, making life uncomfortable. Hell, who knew, once that lady was finished she'd probably turn her attention to Farrah and realize she hadn't done a stick of work since she arrived. Not that there was much to do. After cleaning her office, she came to the conclusion that it made a nice place to take naps, and not much more. Which was fine with her, she needed her naptime.
There was some minor commotion at one of the tables, and she leaned back and stretched her head to see, but then went back to eating. The last thing she wanted was to get messy on her first day, and her robes were new, bespoke and dear to her. She shook her head and sighed, and looked around as if she didn't see, and enjoyed the glitter of the new bracelet that decorated her wrist. She wasn't sure how they could afford it, on their salary, but Nathan came home not long after going to work out details of their employment, practically throwing the galleons in her lap, something about a hiring bonus. Which was fine with her, they weren't exactly in the poorhouse, but after their globetrotting days, she had wondered if their bank accounts would ever be the same. She shrugged, unworried. They always got by, that wasn't going to change.
What did change was her own attitude. Ten years ago, hell a good fifteen when she was a student, she would have leapt into the middle of things and tore everyone apart, possibly yanking out some hair in the process. As it was, she was older and had a completely different outlook. Let them work it out, she'd drag off the bodies to the nurse's wing later when they were finished. It wasn't like it stopped anyone from eating, that she could see by looking at the rest of the staff.

Something started niggling at Saul as he was eating, something bothering him in an annoying kind of high pitched shrill. What on earth is that, he thought to himself. Looking around him with a frown Saul quickly realised that it was someone yelling out his name across the hall.
He squinted through the crowd to try and find the source of the voice and eventually his gaze reached the Hufflepuff table. He saw Caerwyn standing up above the crowd, trying to make herself noticed and screeching out his name in a tone that probably had all the dogs in the local vicinity pricking up their ears.
He smiled and waved back at her, that seemed like the best way to get her to stop screeching his name hysterically across the hall. And he mouthed a reply of "Hi Caerwyn." He wasn't about to yell across the noise in the Great Hall but it seemed polite to acknowledge her presence in some way. He wasn't exactly a master at making friends, often he tended to have habit of making people dislike him from the off with his bluntness and adolescent arrogance. But Caerwyn seemed to like him still, even after having had a conversation with him, so he felt it was probably in his best interests not to alienate one of the only friends he might actually make that year.

After his long travel to get to Hogwarts, Shannon finally have arrived at the castle. Suddenly he comes across a crowd of students jumbled up and heading towards a location which contained a lot of chattering as if the whole school was in there. Shannon had decided to follow them and had stumbled into a great feast of some sort. A celebration was going on for the return of Hogwarts and the start of a new term. After noticing the table where the Gryffindor had sat, he scurried over and had joined his fellow house mates

To be honest there was a little more to the 'disagreement' than Angelina let on. Sure Annika got soaked with juice while having her face slammed into her plate. But she failed to mention the scuffle that ensued after Annika broke free from her grasp. Punches were indeed thrown, not to mention kicks and even a few bites before Annalise ended the fight and separated the two for good. Both girls most likely would be sporting a black eye mixed in with numerous bumps and bruises tomorrow. If this had been a boxing match, in my humble and honest opinion, the fight between Annika and Angelina would be scored a 50/50 draw.
Not bad entertainment for the first week of the new term to those in attendance. "Nice left hook" Annika whispered to Angelina just as they got separated but before Angelina went back to the Ravenclaw table. She had been a formidable opponent and who knows, they may turn out to be best friends. Crazier things had happened at this school.
Now Christina and Britton may be her Housemates. But first off, Annika was NOT going to sing that tacky out-dated school song. And second, who gave a rats ass what happened at Beaubattons. Annika made sure to tell the boy that, basically telling Britton to "shut the hell up" To her other nearby Housemate Caerwyn Annika shared her pudding. As of yet she didn't know the girls name but her face looked familiar. Similar to a face she had seen in an old school yearbook maybe.
For the next several minutes, besides trying to clean herself up, Annika remained quiet and enjoyed the feast. It was quite noticeable that in that time several more adults had joined the festivities. That gave her an idea "FOOD FIGHT! Students versus Staff!!" Annika jumped to her feet as the words were coming from her mouth. Both her hands and arms were a blur as she began hurling food up at the adults. Her mischievous side coming out. The only problem Annika could think of was that she had alienated herself from the other students in the Hall. It wouldn't be much of a food fight if the others just sat there and left her hanging.

Christina was very disappointed to find that none of her fellow students started to sing, no one was singing. She had tried to help fix the situation with a nice song she always was good at cheering people up. Last year if anyone had done this student or Professor and everyone would of been singing she just didn't get it. Well this was very sad she thought but then her belly rumbled and she remembered she was hungry still. She started to walk back to the Hufflepuff table when splat a big bowl of mashed potatoes flew right into her face getting mashed potatoes all over her face before it slid off her. She was mortified, she felt very humiliated she let out a very loud scream like no other has ever heard.
"Screeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaammmmmmmmmmmmmm"
She reached up and wiped the mashed potatoes off her face with her hand the best she could. Standing their still mortified she looked like Carrie from a muggle movie called Carrie. She looked up and the only one who was throwing food was the Hufflepuff girl who had been causing so much problems earlier. In a furious rage her hands at her side each one in a fist, she marched over to the table where the Hufflepuff girl was.
She walked right up to Annika pulled out her wand raising it pointed at the girl and said "Levicorpus" the spell that dangles the person upside down by their ankle.
She smiled with a big grin as she walked back to where she had been sitting at the Hufflepuff table and started eating her chicken drumstick again. Obviously Christina hadn't realized that it was students against teachers and that she just happened to been in the way of the flying mashed potatoes! She usually tried to be a good Hufflepuff she really did but she had her limits and this was one of them besides she was only 12.
