Elessar noticed the applicant for his assistant position over at the Hufflepuff table. He took out a small badge from his badge from a pocket on his cloak and enchanted it to fly over to Christina Abbot with a message.

Christina was enjoying a mouthful of macaroni and cheese when she noticed a badge flying at her with a message attached to it. She removed her wand and said "Wingardium Leviosa" to control the badge and the message to land in her hands. That actually is one of the most useful first years spells she ever learned it had many uses. She opened the message it was from Elessar Garrison one of the Head nurses saying she had been accepted for the position of assistant nurse.
She had applied for the job of assistant nurse cause she loved to make people feel better and to spread cheer and good will. She was one to bring flowers to someone for no real reason other then to have an excuse to give them flowers to make them smile. Besides she had plenty of experience with the Hospital Wing her first year at Hogwarts. She took the badge and pinned it to her robes proudly.
"Anyone feeling sick?" She said out loud to the rest of the Hufflepuff table "I'm now an assistant nurse so if you need help i'm here." she explained smiling warmly!

"... you want to embarrass me.. you.. really want to do this?" she growled under her breath, staring... waiting. Once the Ministry official had left the hall, she got off her throne and stepped down to ground level. Just as her foot touched the floor she felt something splat into her face, which marked the end of her breaking point. .... "Thats IT" she swiped the mashed potatos from her face and splat it onto the ground "CULPRITS, FRONT AND CENTER. YOU---- BLONDIE, DOWN HERE...." she beckoned Christina "Brown noser, emo, bloodsucker, and cow as well" she indicated, gathering Annelisse, Ninotchka, Angel, and Annika
"The rest of you---- GET OUT OF MY SIGHT!" she ordered to her staff, glowering especially at a hunched over Nathan. he would get his just desserts, but not after she was done with these brats. She cracked her knuckles and neck and prepared herself

Angelina shrugged and came forward, trying to look sad, but not really managing it very well, so she just looked down at her shoes, practicing her beaten puppy look. Vampires were a misunderstood lot, and she knew she'd end up getting an unfair share of the blame, that was how the world worked. It was The Man's world, she just lived in it. Or Unlived. She was never really sure on that point.

Great Christina thought this ought to be interesting, least finally there was one adult who going to do something about all this. The rest of the adult had seemed to be taking a vacation all night in her opinion. She got up from her spot at the table and joined Angelina as she walked towards the front of the room where the lady who seemed might be the Headmistress was standing.
"were just kids , your 11 and i'm 12 it can't be that bad, its the adults who been ignoring us all night who should really be in trouble." she whispered too Angelina very quietly as the walked forward to face the ladies wrath.

Oooops, this old lady meant bussiness. Or so it seemed, but her sudden rant had taken Annika off guard so the best solution was to obey. Christina had already stepped forward and opened her mouth as Annika took her place infront of the judge. If she wanted to be the spokesperson for the band of misfits, that was fine. Annika's place at this time was to keep her mouth shut.

WHAT, THAT'S IT? No blood, no gore, no ripping faces off? What a sissy vampire. Nina observed the altercation between the vamp and the crazy Hufflepuff expecting some grade A action. Sure it would have been horrible to witness a murder, but at least it would have given everyone a reason to want the creature destroyed. Nina looked up at the Headmistress in confusion. Brown noser was obviously the girl who thought she was Gandhi. Vampire..cow, was she cow? No, that wasn't it. "HEY I'M NOT EMO" She slammed her fist down on the table and stood in place, eyeing the three as they approached the front of the hall. The very thought of having to spend hours in detention with a bunch of freaks made gouging her own eyes out sound very very appealing. Nina let out a frustrated sigh and joined the rest of the bunch.

This was it. Her big return to the corridors of her school of witchcraft and wizardry. Hogwarts was reopened for the term and Ariana was ready to take it by storm. Summer had come and gone. A few hook ups here and there. A bit of light reading. Shopping for the start of term of course. She had bought this fantastic pair of heels she would be wearing to charms on the first day. And now she was back. She couldn't be happier.
Ariana strutted down the aisle between the tables in the Great Hall and made her way over to her usual spot at the Slytherin table. It felt good to be back. After acknowledging a few of her fellow classmates, she looked to the staff table to see if there were any new male professors that might attract her eye. After all, she had to earn Slytherin some house points this year, and if that meant a short skirt on Care of Magical Creatures day or something, so be it.
Ariana glanced at the staff table. But before she could look at the professors she noticed that there was a strange woman sitting in the Head's seat. Ariana squinted. She was wearing some gaudy outfit and looked like she had to be from the Ministry of Magic or something. She was probably sent to talk about the reopening of the school, blah, blah, blah. Whatever, so Hogwarts emptied out for a bit. It was fine. Everyone was back. And the year was going to be amazing. No need to send officials to keep an eye on us. Especially not if Ariana was going to break out that short skirt. God knows an official would pull out a ruler, measure her skirt, and have her in detention scrubbing all the shields in the trophy case until midnight.
She watched the woman get up and walk to the podium. Was she going to give the start of term speech? This was strange.
The woman said "My name is Candace Stewart and I work for the Ministry of Magic." Ariana shouted out a "hey girl" and started laughing with a few of her Slytherin classmates. And as she expected "Candace" went on about how she was observing for the school year. Whatever, let's eat!
Ariana glanced down the Slytherin table. "Are those pumpkin pasties!? Ohmeegod! My favorite! Pass them now!" Ariana grabbed the plate and began to stack pumpkin pasties on it. Then she grabbed her goblet and toasted some of her classmates. She giggled.
"To a fantastic year ahead everyone. Oh and I hope all of the fourth year girls realize that I will be getting the bed next to the window in the dormitory this year. Love you ladies." She winked down the table at her fellow Slytherins. Then she took a big swig of her pumpkin juice.
Then Ariana noticed a devilish blonde woman walking to the podium. This must be the new headmistress... She stared at the woman and squinted. A lot of people said this was Ariana's "b***h face" or her "evil eye" but really Ariana just made the face when she was observing someone new. The lady looked like she was powerful, like she had power. She stood her ground even when that woman from the Ministry seemed to be threatening her. She looked away for a split second to take another bite of her pumpkin pasty and then she burst into laughter. The new headmistress was covered in potatoes. And then she called some of her students by very rude and stereotypical names. Ariana let out a really loud, obnoxious laugh. Okay... she kind of liked the new headmistress already.
Another bite of a pumpkin pasty and Ariana went back to her meal with a smile on her face.

Perhaps she would have done better to stay at the Ravenclaw table when she had a chance. With an inward groan the girl followed the rest of the beckoned students up to the new headmistress, or she supposed that was who she was since she seemed to have been too busy being menacing to introduce herself. She kept her mouth shut, giving the angry Ravenclaw girl an annoyed side-eye as she shouted about whatever the woman had called her. It didn't seem like the new Ravenclaws this year were very bright, that sorting hat was letting anyone in these days.

Darla was so surprised about everything going on, her mind didn't have time to process it. One girl got slapped. The "Candace" person got replaced and some other lady was screaming orders. Were the heads of schools in England always that grumpy?
A few girls, Darla thought they were all girls, got called up, but not by name. Darla was surprised, because she hadn't been watching to see why. Were they fighting? They could have turned into werewolves and started attacking other students for all that she knew.
It really wasn't her business, but almost everybody else was watching, and why not her? Darla put her utensils down and turned her bright blue eyes to the front of the room, where the new Headmistress sat. When she cracked her knuckles, Darla knew the students really were in trouble.
Darla hadn't made any friends yet, so there was no one who she could ask about what was going on. She knew nothing about Hogwarts. Were the punishments magical? But Darla reminded herself that it wouldn't matter to her anyway. On the train, somebody had told her Ravenclaw was were the smart people went, and as a Ravenclaw Darla knew it was her duty to earn house points, not lose them.
She almost pitied the poor students going up to face the Headmistress, or that was at least what Darla thought she was. She could be from the Ministry of Magic, a place were Darla had been told wizards and witches worked. That's where Candace was from, but she got kicked out. Who could have higher authority than the people from the Ministry of Magic? Well, anyway, Darla thought they brought it on themselves. Except it made her feel like her house had a bad start this year. This is like the earliest time possible to get in trouble, and a Ravenclaw had to get into trouble. Today. Right now. A Ravenclaw. Did Ravenclaws get in trouble as much as everybody else? No. At least, that's not what the boy on the train told her. So this was a bad start. Something told Darla she shouldn't be saying anything to disturb this person, whoever she was.....

Just as soon as they had lined up before her, had her appetite vanished. Each and every one of them were an eyesore to look at. Slowly she paced before them, her heels clicking, hand crossed over her chest wondering just what type of punishment they deserved. The old Bonnie would have just smashed their faces in... But she was older now. More mature, more civilized. A razor sharp smile spread across her face, and with just a flick of her wrist each and every one of those brats were hurled up, and left dangling in the air before her.
"You see.. I dont think my presense was made clear enough. So let me enlighten you all on how I intend things on running from now on." after she reached annelisse, she about faced and continued her pace "You see... children... Im not here to kiss your booboos.... heal your wound. Most of all.... im not here to settle your battles." she made her turn again "What I am here for.... is to remind you all of one thing, and one thing only..." She paused at the center, and tapped her wand once more. a large tub filled to the brim with pumpkin juice appeared below them all "And that is to teach you,", she continued,
"... to respect your elders" With that said, she flicked her wand, and allowed all four of them to drop into the tub, still dangling at her hold, their heads submerged under the the pumpkin juice. "Welcome to Hogwarts" she stated mockingly, as if they could hear. She wondered how long she could keep them down there before they started to pass out... Was it three minutes? hmm..

Once second, Anna was standing silently watching the woman give the students in front of her one of the most disdainful looks she'd ever seen on anyone, the next she was upside down in the air. With all the blood in her body rushing to her head, she did her best not to look as scared as she was at that very moment. She was only half-listening as the woman babbled on about what she wasn't here to do, but that seemed pretty obvious so the other half of her mind wondered who in their right mind allowed this woman to be in charge of a school full of young, impressionable minds. There was no way they could have been in their right mind, perhaps they had been under the influence of an unforgivable curse?
As soon as the words respect your elders passed through her ears, she felt a loosening of whatever was holding her up and instinctively gasped in as much air as she could take in the split second before she hit the juice. Instincts continuing to act up, she fought against it for a few seconds but soon realized that it was futile and surely wasting energy that may prove to be valuable. She couldn't, she wouldn't drown them, would she? As things were going at the moment, she couldn't be sure of anything. All she was sure of was that she would give anything for a nice breath of fresh air right now, for she was beginning to get lightheaded.

Click.....................clak..................Click...................clak.................Click..........................clak The sound of the Headmistress's heals sounded 10 times louder then they normally would right now as Christina stood there feeling nervous and intimidated. Nervously she looked left to right at the other girls standing there with her , they were lined up as to be executed.
Swoooooshhh...........she and the other girls were turned upside down in the air. If she wasn't scared before she was now as she started to feel dizzy after a bit as the blood went to her head. Hey she copied the spell I did to Annika sept somehow she did it silently she thoght to herself while the headmaster was giving a speech to them. Did she just say she's not here to kiss are boobs she asked herself feeling extremely dizzy by now. When would this...
Splllllasssssssssssssshhhhhhhh.............. her and the other girls fell into a bathtub of pumpkin juice. She closed her mouth as head was plunged underwater and was doing her best to keep it shut. I can't hold my breath like this forever errhghah....she was thinking.

Darla didn't know if she was going mad, or if the lady was. She had just seen four students dropped into pumpkin juice, and held under against their will. She had never been to Hogwarts before, but she could tell by the looks of her fellow Ravenclaw's that this was not normal punishment.
Could they die in there? Yes, they could. Wasn't somebody going to do something about it? A teacher? An older student? Darla, being only a first year, might just look stupid going up there and finding that her eyes were fooling her, or that this was normal punishment. Anyway, she would never be brave enough to do it, However, she had to think of something to help the students. Something.
She looked to the Ravenclaw beside her. "Is this normal?"

Angelina didn't mind being levitated, she thought it was kind of cool actually, and she kicked her feet back and forth, waiting for the lady to finish her speech. Which was kind of funny, but still...she was a grown up and all Angel heard was 'blaaahblaaahblaaaah'.
Until, 'Welcome to Hogwarts', that is.
With a splash, she was submerged in pumpkin juice, annoyed, but in no real danger. It wasn't the first time she was grateful for being a vampire, and probably wouldn't be the last. The whole not needing to breathe thing came in handy at times like these. So she just relaxed for a few and enjoyed imagining Nina's suffering.
